can connect to appstore but not can't download songs or music albums in mp3.

Sorry, but music tracks and other media contact are not available in Israel via an iTunes Store at this time. None of us here can say when Apple will be able to obtain the necessary licenses and feel it worthwhile to set up an iTunes Store for your country.

  • I can connect to WiFi but not the internet

I am trying to connect a new IPad 2.  I have a Belkin router that is B+G+N.  I use WPA2 encryption and MAC filtering.  The IPAD's MAC address was entered into the router and when I provide the encryption key as the password I am able to connect to WiFi but not anything Internet related except for email.  When I type any URL in Safari it takes me to my router's management page.  In fact I can log into my router and manage it from my IPad but I can't connect to anything else.  I have 8 other computers/devices that connect to the router fine including two Apple Ipod touch's.  This has me baffled.

  • I can connect to MAC but not my PC

I have a new Nano, that connects to Mac but not my PC. When I try to connect to PC it says "iTunes as detected a Macintosh formatted iPod. You must restore this iPod before you can use it on Windows."
How can I get my Nano to work on both?
    Thanks!

Windows cannot read a Mac formatted disk.
You need to Restore on iTunes for Windows and it will then work on Mac & Windows.

  • Changed to secure - can connect with mac but not pc running vista

I changed my wrt54gs from unsecured to secure by changing the wireless > wireless security > to security mode: WPA personal, the wpa algorithms is set to TKIP, i set up a password in the shared key area and the group key is set to 3600.  I saved the changes and now i can connect with the password with a macbook pro as well as with a ipod touch but i cant connect with a laptop running windows vista.  I would get an error saying unable to connect, funny thing is though  i am connect (and it is the correct router, not a neighbors) but it says connected with limited access. I tried to run diagnostics and repair but to no avail.  Any thoughts on what to door is limited access ok?
    thanks,
    Dave

    Try this :
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Network and Sharing Center >> Manage Wireless Networks, here remove all the networks present and close the Window...
Click on Connect to a Network and try to re-connect to your Network, it should ask for your Network Key/Password, enter the correct password/network key and click Connect...
It should connect...Once you are connected you should restart the computer, it should connect to Internet...

  • Can connect to router but not internet, please help!

I was searching, but couldn't find a thread with my symptoms...please redirect me if needed.
however, I just got a brand new dell that is running vista premium, and I put my belkin wireless card that I was using in my old pc into the new one.  found my network, applied to wep key and connected to the router without any problem...
but I can't go online!  I never had a problem before, and I am using the same wireless card.  my signal is excellent, so what might my problem be?  I already tried rebooting the router, but no results.  I had the same problem several months ago with my wife's laptop when we first got FIOS...but for the life of me I can't remember how I fixed it.
any suggestions?  thank you so much in advance

It sounds like your laptop doesn't have any - or the right - IP configuration.  When you went through the network setup, did you tell it to use DHCP?
Some things to try (note, this is for XP but I'm guessing it hasn't change *too* much for vista):
From a command window, try typing:
    ipconfig
It should show you your IP address and a default route (something other than zeros, probably a 192.168.x.x address).
If you don't get a valid IP and route, try  running: ipconfig /renew
See if you can get to the router by pinging the default gateway address (from the ipconfig command). E.g.:
      ping 192.168.0.1
If you still have no luck, try resetting the connection via the Network Connections panel:
     Start->Control Panel
     Double click Network Connections
     Check for DHCP:
Right click on the wireless connection and select Properties
Click on Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) and click Properties
Make sure that "Obtain IP address automatically" is selected.
       Click OK in both boxes.
Right click on the wireless connection and select Repair
If it still doesn't work, try right clicking on your wireless connection and select Disable, then again and select Enable and then Repair.

  • Can connect to wifi but not to Internet

I had the problem that iPad2 suddenly could connect to wifi, and to 3G for that matter, but got an error trying to acces the Internet (from Safari or mail).
Tried for hours all the advice foud here and other places, like resetting this and that.
I had a feeling that it was something blocking on the iPad, not a router problem - all other devices could connect to Internet.
The solution: I had disconnected Dropbox! - Connecting to Dropbox again solved all problems. Now it's even possible to disconnect to Dropbox without getting problems with Internet access.
The lesson learned from this: apps can hang up Internet-connection, though they are not even using it!

  • Can connect to network but not internet. Please Help!!!!!!!!!

I have a Thinkpad T-60p and have encountered a serious problem; I am unable to connect to the internet. The Thinkpad will recognize and connect to wireless networks but when I go to actually open a webpage it does not open. I spent hours troubleshooting the problem to no avail. My other laptop connects to the internet fine, so I do not think it is an issue with my router or modem. I also went to my neighbors and I was unable to connect to the internet even though I could connect to his network; once again my second computer does not have a problem. I tried what I could in the Thinkvantage wireless software but I am not that familiar with it. When I use the test connection option it just reads, “unable to connect to internet” but I have a strong signal to my network. I then tried a wired connection directly to my cable modem and my neighbors; once again it showed that I have a connection, but still will not connect to the internet. I tried disabling my Firewall and Virus software and still could not connect. I have shutdown, unplugged and reset everything. I still receive the same results. I am not sure what has happened, I have not installed any new software or hardware recently. The computer has been working great up until this morning. I ran my virus software and a free online scan as well, nothing had been detected. I called tech support and they said it was a software issue to either pay $100 for help or post in the forum. The only other option I can think of is a complete systems restore, which I am trying to avoid. Anyone have any suggestions?
    Please Help,
    P.

I will try that when I get home from work, thank you for the advice. However,I did notice that when it attempts to connect it shows the IP Address in the IE window bottom left corner. In the past it would always read connecting to "website name" but since the problem started it shows the IP address instead of the actual name.

  • Can connect to Wifi but not LAN internet with iphone 6

    Hello from Australia.
Ever since I brought my iphone 6 home, I have been plagued with Wifi issues.  All of my idevices have lost internet connection, even though they can be connected to WiFi via Airport Express (2nd gen).
My internet is a LAN ethernet cable, and usually after connnecting to WiFi (on any device), I get a Login Page from my ISP and I can connect to the internet as usual.
The new iphone 6 has never been able to bring up the Login Page, but is able to connect to my WiFi network.  My old 4S is also unable to connect, as well as my husband's 4S.
    Can anyone help?
    Thank you.

  • Can connect to router but not ad hoc network. Works fine with iPhone.

My brand new ipad on ios 3.2.2 connects fine to my router and my jailbroken iphone running Mywi. However, I cant connect to an ad hoc network set up on my laptop running vista. My iphone connects to the ad hoc without any problems. I've tried everything, static ips, wep, wpa, hard resets, restoring, resetting network settings but no go. How can' everything else be fine but not connecting to the ad hoc network, especially since it works fine to connect with the iphone?
Btw, the ad hoc is for controlling music software on the laptop through wifi. It's not for getting internet.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
    Many thanks,
    L

Hi and welcome to the Apple Discussions.
Did you try doing a search, upper right corner of this window, on remote control? There have been a number of discussions during the last two weeks about remote control problems.
There have also been discussions about networking an iPad via another computer, such as iMac or MacBook Pro, using the computer's wireless card rather than a router.
See if one of those will answer your question.

  • Can connect to network, but not to internet

I have a wireless network set up with four macs connecting to it. Three of the macs can connect to the network and access the internet.
My Black Macbook can connect to the network, but when I open Safari or any other program that connects to the internet I cannot actually get on the internet. For example, I open safari and after a few minutes it says I am not connected to the internet.
I can connect to my neighbor's unprotected wireless network and have no problem getting on the internet with that connection.
I have tried turning the computer off and on and turning the airport off and on and it does not solve anything. I did not do anything to the compueter, it just started this problem out of the blue.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Do you have IP address limits ? Say I have 5 IP
    addresses limit.
That is not it. And, I did not change anything before it just stopped working. The strange thing it is only within my wireless network that I can't access the internet. I eventually get the "you are not connected to the internet" screen each time I try to bring up a web page.

  • Can connect to bot but not people?

I am totally clueless as to why this would be, but although I can connect to the apple test bots (appleu3test01 to be exact), I cannot start an AV chat with any real people. I get what I understand to be the usual "SIPConnectIPPort failed" in the error report. This has been persisting for a few weeks now. I don't even know what information to give you about why this might be happening. All I can say is I'm connected via an AirPort express to a modem router that has a 1mbps connection to the web. Incidentally, the people I'm trying to talk to can start conversations just fine. And I've been able to use this perfectly well on another connection (at university). Any help would be appreciated.

The Test bots do not use NAT to appear on the Net.
In fact each one has it's own Public IP (they don't appear as if they are behind a routing device)
NAT is the biggest problem for iChat as it is not standard across all devices.
If there is No NAT at one end the chat is more likely to be successful.
Most domestic devices can not turn off NAT.
UPnP can help as it is less reliant on NAT to get through a routing device.
AS it allows the App to control the ports it is more like a constant outgoing call which tends to punch through NAT better.
As default on many devices the ports controlled by NAT (Those above 1024)and need to be opened for those applications that use ports this high (IM App On-line games)
UPnP allows the apps to open the ports they need when they need them.
Port Forwarding opens the ports you specify and points them to an IP (you need to specify this as well) so that you need to tell the device which ports iChat uses and which IP your computer is on your LAN
Port Forwarding can only open a port to one IP (computer), so say for iChat Text port 5190 can be opened to your computer and no other.
The set up is normally table based and several ports needs by one app can be set.
This means that on a LAN only one computer could then use iChat.
UPnP allows multiple computers to use the same ports.
Some devices have Port Triggering (Special Applications) that requires a different form of port ordering but can allow multiple computers but I don't think your device has this.
It is late here as well.

  • Can connect to testers but not my mum!

    Hi,
I have been trying for some time to get iChat 2.1 to audio or video chat with my mum in the UK (I'm in Japan). We both have iSight, iChat AV 2.1, OS X 10.3.9. I have a PowerBook G4, my mum has an iMac G5. I am using an NEC router (all in Japanese, which I don't understand properly), my mum is using a BT Voyager 205ADSL. I am using an Airport Extreme, but have tried with or without it - same result.
The message we are getting is something like 'mum/Tom did not respond'.
We can both connect to the AIM testers 'tryichatav' and 'ichatavtesting' with video and audio but not to each other. I have gone through the port opening procedure that Ralph advised us in another column 'iChat audio', but at that time we thought the problem was at my mum's side.
Now I know that we can both connect to the testers, I have absolutely no idea what to do or where the problem lies.
Any ideas would be great. Would us both buying new routers solve the problem for sure? If so we will do this as we are tired of this headache, what would you recommend?
    Regards and thanks in advance.
    Tom

    Hi Ralph
I managed to connect with Tony last night through iChat AV using iSight, so can I assume that the problem isn't at my end now?
If so, it may be easiest (but not cheapest) for my mum to just buy a new router. If she bought the Netgear one mentioned above ought we not to have any more problems or is it just not as simple as that?
I enjoyed my first real use of iChat - it really does change a few things doesn't it...
It would be great for me and my parents as we hardly see each other, and iChat really does make meeting possible.
Many thanks to both Tony and Ralph for your help on this and other threads.
    Tom
PS: I have two machines. I had been alternating between two computers in trying to connect previously - both running the same software - and always got the same errors. Last week I upgraded one to 10.4.2/iChat AV 3 and tried that with Tony last night. I am still waiting to try my new configuratin with my mum... Just in case that changes anything...

  • Can connect with Macs but not PCs - iChat 2.1 OSX 10.3.9

Hi, I am having problems connecting to PCs but can connect to other Macs fine. I have ploughed through as much of the correspondance on here as I can find but with no luck. Would I be right in assuming that if I can connect OK to another Mac (with .mac name or AIM name) my settings should be OK?
    Cheers,
    Mike

    Hi Mike
Try me and see, defcom1 .mac account.
Has the PC side-up ok, see for set-up http://www.mvldesign.com/videoconferencetutorial.html#xp they must be using AIM5.9 and not AIM Triton
