is there any other way in which it can be done...

The OMWB will not do it, however, there are some older migration kits on http://otn.oracle.com/migration where there are DB2 kits you can tweak to do this migration.

From your description, you can send and receive messages only when you use OWA after migration from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013. If I have misunderstood your concern, please let me know.
In your case, I recommend you create a new test mailbox in your Exchange 2013 and check if you can send and receive messages on Outlook. If yes, it is recommended to create a new profile to solve this issue.

How can I take the files that were migrated from my PC to my Mac and add all those files to my current user instead of having 2 users? Having to log out just to sign in on a different user to access the files is absurd.
Do I make all the files sharable to all the NOW users on the mac then just delete the files? Or can i erase my account that I made when starting up my new mac and then just use the one with the transferred files?
I just dont want to have to og in and out of 2 different accounts .. Help please.

Sorry. /Users is a folder path. It would be similar to C:\Users (if that exists on Windows).
So, in the Finder, select Computer from the Go menu.
You'll see Macintosh HD, double-click that to open it.
In there you'll see several folders. One is Users. That is where all the user Home folders exist. Select the other account's home folder and go to step 3.
If you have any more confusion, please stop and ask. We'll get there.
If you feel more comfortable, you can just log into that other account and move the files into /Users/Shared.
Then, log into the account you wish to use and copy the files from the Shared folder and paste them into your Home folder, wherever they belong, Documents, Music, Pictures, etc. That just takes a little more work. Transferring them into Shared, and then copying into your home sets the permissions on the files so that you won't have a problem accessing them later. The steps I provided just prevent you from having to do the double move, since you are not going to use the old account once you are done.
Quick unix shorthand. If someone gives you a file path that begins with a /, that means the root of the hard drive, ie Macintosh HD (if you haven't renamed it). The path separator in unix is /, not \.
A path that starts with ~/ means your Home folder, the one inside /Users named with your account name.

Otherwise software may be attempted to access the drive. The the computer up in Safe Mode by holding shift when you turn it on. Also be sure to power off and on the hard drive itself.

First you should have installed the cockpit., you should have completed the testing and migrated the transports before the end of the Fiscal year which is 31st March in your case. Depending on the scenario, this will take 20 - 40 days.
You can begin the migration once your year end activity is performed.
If you have not installed the cockpit and completed the configuration and tested it.. forget it for this year, do it next year.

1.Take cold backup from 9i database.
2.Install 10g software and create need directories and restore cold backup

Three questions: (1) hard to get firefox to close; (2) can't download linked PDFs from journal websites, as I can with safari; (3) how do I migrate my complete firefox setup from old mac computer to new mac.

I am running firefox on a 4-year-old macbook. When I want to close the firefox application, for example when I am shutting down the computer, it hangs, will not quit. Sometimes I get a prompt about continuing a script and after I click on that, then it closes. Often, however, I have to do a force quit ("firefox not responding").
I am going to be setting up soon on a new macbook.
My firefox has been elaborated with several add-ons, including read it later and a couple of feed add-ons. I have an elaborate bookmark and tab group setup. Will it be possible to migrate all of that to the new computer.
Will my having a fresh new computer resolve the problem with getting the application to close? Or should I be concerned about importing the problem along with the application?
The other question concerns downloading of PDF files that are linked at medical journal websites, where I have permission for download of articles. I can do this in safari. But the process is not working in firefox. The blank window comes up like I am going to get a download prompt, but then that does not happen.

I did that :
Open Terminal
1 - wget http://rpms.famillecollet.com/remi-release-8.rpm
2 - sudo rpm -Uvh remi-release-8.rpm
3 - sudo mousepad /etc/yum.repos.d/remi.repo
Make sur that in remi section enabled value = 1 and in test section enabled value= 0
4 - sudo rpm -e --nodeps firefox
5 - sudo yum install firefox
It was successful for me after many hours to look for the right answer

Can't open after archive install and migration

Hi there, so heres the deal. I recently posted an issue I had with my imac and turned out the only way to save all my data was to do an archive and install. So I upgraded my HD at the same time to a 2 TB. They then installed OS X and did migration with my old drive. Also the reason I had to new drive was because the previous 500 GB drive was nearly full. Anyways, got my computer back today and everything is pretty good aside from missing quicktime 7 in utilities and a couple drivers and my printers but so far thats it aside from FC studio 2. They just won't open so I read some threads on that and seems like majority say to do a clean install of OS x and I just don't want to do that as I finally got everything normal again. I was thinking of just deleting the apps and reinstalling them but figured I would come on here and see if I could get a second opinion. Thanks for your time

Well for starters I can't back up cause I am away from home and my time machine drive is at home. But if i were to get it home and run a back up would it just back up everything as is right now which is in error. When i say data I mean all the stuff on my imac HD. Documents, photos, movies etc. Something needs to be done cause i see this problem has went to my iphoto as well. Can't open it which is not good. I put a few photos on there since my last back up. Luckily i do still have the drive that cause the was swapped out that still has some of the data on it. So if one was to do a proper reinstall or clean install, what is the process.

recently we've done a Exchange 2007 sp3 to 2013 sp1. Users can conect perfectly with OWA and with his iphone clients.
But the problem is they can't connect from his Outlook clients (2010, 2013), both internaly and externaly. Always fails with the message: The Connection to Exchange it is not avaliable.... Can't resolve the name of Exchange server.
To try to resolve it we've done:
- Check Outlook anywhere configuration en EAC: it is configure with and external url mail.company.com and internal server.domain.local. The security is the default Negociation, but we've tried all.
- Check the internal dns, there are records for mail.company.com and exchangeserverdomain.local pointing to the exchange local ip. Also there is a public zone company.com with the record mail.caompany.com pointing to the exchange local ip. Also we've made
records autodiscover.company.com and autodiscover.domain.local pointing to the exchange local ip.
- In the public dns from our domain there is the record A and MX pointing our public ip. There aren't any record Autodiscover but we think that the manial conection should work.
Check certificates: we've made a new self-signed certificate including all this internal and external domains and for all services.
- Check Outlook Anywhere block: we've cheked.
Currently server state:
- Old Exchange 07 server can't start, it was in very bad state and we achieved migrate the mailbox to the new server, after that we tried to uninstall, but it crashes with a public folder replication error. We got uninstall all the roles
unless the mailbox. After a restart it can't start.
-The new Exchange 2013 looks great, there isn't any trail of the old server, or we haven't seen anything in the EAC or shell.
I paste below the result of Microsoft Remote conectivity analaizer, with Outlook anywhere test. It is clear that there is a problem with that.

I used time machine to backup all the data from my macbook and then I used the migration assistant on my imac and transfer those data to the imac.
Everything was successful and after that. I can see the new user account under my hard drive > User folder but I dont have privilege to open the file.
And on the other hand, I got no way to login that user ID.
How can I fix that?

what do you mean? do you mean the migrated user doesn't show up at the login window? or that the password doesn't work?
