Can distribution list "managed by" person can send email to same group?

can distribution list "managed by" person can send email to same group?, if "Message accept by" in delivery restriction, only has one other's person's name is not the person who is "Managed by"

Hi Syed,
According to my research and test, I agree with Vasil.
For example, Distribution Group1 is managed by A, but configured that only accept message from B.
When A send an e-mail to Distribution Group1, it will not display an mail-tips to indicate that this account don’t have permission to send to this group. When sending out, it will be automatically receive an Undeliverable e-mail which display that”#550 5.7.1
RESOLVER.RST.NotAuthorized; not authorized ##”.

No Mac can run any version of iOS, that is for iDevices only.
Macs run OS X. What version of that do you have?

    Add your account again.

  • Particular Email address can send email, does not receive email.

    Hi,
I got a issue with an email address at our exchange 2010. If you can help, that will be great.
    1. email [email protected] can send email anywhere. Cannot receive email from internal/external email address.
    2. Delete the account from Exchange and recreate the same account in AD and recreate exchange mailbox, no avail.
    3.
Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
Kehillat Moriah ([email protected]) <mailto:[email protected]>
You are not authorised to send e-mail to the xxx distribtion group.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
For troubleshooting, I would like you to check the Message Delivery Restrictions. Following are my steps:
Open Exchange Management Console, choose Recipient Configuration in the navigation tree.
    Click Mailbox.
Find this Particular Email address and right-click on it to Properties.
    Switch to Mail Flow Settings.
    Double-click on Message Delivery Restrictions.
    Under this Option tap:
If choose Only senders in the following list, you can just receive messages for the senders in this list.
If choose All senders, you can accept messages from all senders.
Hope this will be helpful for you.

You have already started a thread about this issue. Please do not create

  • Using AOL email how do I bring my SMTP password into line with my actual password so I can send email?

Using AOL email how do I bring my SMTP password into line with my actual password so I can send email? Thanks.

I'm trying to go from memory now when it happened to me, but try turning the server Off. See if that ungreys the setting so that you can enter the password and username. I believe on my one AOL account what I did was to select another SMTP server from the list below the primary server.

  • Hotmail shows inbox but cannot open emails shown but can send email, it works on other browsers and I did the latest update on firefox

Firefox brings up my Hotmail web page and shows emails but I cannot open them or delete them. I can send emails however. Other browsers like Opera and Chrome work the Hotmail fine. I have downloaded the latest Firefox update as late as today!
This is a new problem and it worked fine for years. I have Windows 7 operating system on my desktop.

This problem has been ongoing for months for some users.
I managed to fix my issue by completely uninstalling FF and then reinstalling the newest version which is 6.0-something.
I was previously running on 3.0 and my automatic updates had not told me there was a newer version.
I don't know if that will fix everybody's problem though. I assume a lot of people were already running on FF 6 when they had their problems.

  • Email account can send email but cannot recieve

My new contractor email account can send email but cannot receive. GIT had identified the problem "Mail record not created in LDAP" but it has been more than a week and still no fix.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks
    James

    Hi James,
Contractors by default are not provided email access. Your manager needs to request for a mail record from APS. If your manager had already requested for a mail record, then you need to raise a service request with helpdesk.
Moreover you're reporting this issue in the wrong forum.
    Thanks,
    Jereen

  • Sometimes I can send email, sometimes I can't...

So, I've got the latest version of OSX and Mac Mail. I've checked with my ISP and the port used is not blocked.
Sometimes, I can send email just fine. No problems.
Other times, when I send email I get this error: Cannot send using the server <insert my outgoing mail server here>
Oddly, if I close mail and then restart it - it will often send the emails.
I've checked with my hosting company and the email servers are fine and running. If I do the "connection doctor" from inside mac mail, I get all green - connecting fine.
    Any ideas?

If you refer to my posts of a today and a few days ago I've had the identical issue - I do not agree with the posting of the person that followed yours - It is something wrong somewhere - My ISP is Comcast and while they've been very helpful in working with me to solve it the problem persists - it seems to have gotten worse in recent weeks and maybe for the past month or so -
It seems to be in the incoming port - I often have an "offline" reading when I check the preferences - then for no reason it will come back on line and everything will be ok for a while - I have gone directly to the web mail of Comcast and it works perfectly - the port #'s assigned by Comcast are often not working properly and when I change to other ports it will work for a short time - all very mysterious -

    Hello CWNI,
Check out this KB article, it should help you
    http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/kb02857
    Hope that helps!
More than likely, you use outlook or similar application on your computer for email and it is just not leaving a copy of the message on the mail server.

  • I cannot send email - error message as follows : 'The sender address (my email address) was rejected by the server smtp.tiscali.co.uk.' I can send email from other apple devices, and the email settings are identical. Any ideas?

For some reason I cannot send email - all was working fine, but now I get the following error message when I try to send email:
'The sender address (my email address) was rejected by the server smtp.tiscali.co.uk'
I can receive incoming mail ok and I can send email from other Apple devices. The problem seems confined to my Mac Book Pro.
    Ant ideas?

  • TS3276 I can receive emails, but I cannot send emails. This just started happening. I have an iPhone and I can send emails from my phone fine. It's just not working on my Macbook. Every time I try to send an email it goes straight to my outbox. Can anyone

I can receive emails, but I cannot send emails. This just started happening. I have an iPhone and I can send emails from my phone fine. It's just not working on my Macbook. Every time I try to send an email it goes straight to my outbox. Can anyone help?

Thank you for heading me in the right direction.  I reset my Mail account for Outgoing Mail Server to outbound.att.net:(customer ID)@att.net (instead of smtp.att.yahoo.com, per Apple's online troubleshooting information).   I'm not sure what "(Offline)" means when it appears at the end of my Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)??  In the Advanced box I clicked on "Use custom port:  465" and checked "Use Secure Sockets Layer."  Authentication:  Password; I have correct User Name and Password put in.  After doing all this, when I try to send emails again today, they go directly to the Outbox and sit there.
What's curious is that my first sent email this morning did go out using the Outgoing Mail Server, smtp.att.yahoo.com: (customer ID)@att.net(Offline) but subsequent emails I tried to send with this server were rejected with the message:  "Cannot send message using the server smtp.att.yahoo.com (etc.).  The SMTP server doesn't support TLS(SSL) on port 587.  Verify your account settings and try again."  That's when I tried resetting my Outgoing Mail Server to outbound.att.net (etc.), as mentioned above, and was unsuccessful in sending out any further emails.  I guess my next step is to contact my email service provider, AT&T, and see if they can help me.  Thanks, again, for taking the time to respond and for giving me your input!  Much appreciated!

  • Messaging Server cannot send email to gmail but can send email to yahoo

I'm using Messaging server 7.0. My company's domain is {color:#ff0000}*sun-vietnam.com*{color} and the email server name is {color:#ff0000}*mail.sun-vietnam.com*{color}, this name is {color:#ff0000}*registered and resolved*{color} correctly in the DNS server of the ISP.
When using an email account form this domain, I can send email to an email address from {color:#ff0000}*yahoo.com*{color} such as {color:#ff0000}****@yahoo.com*{color} and the {color:#ff0000}****@yahoo.com*{color} account can receives this email immediately.
But when I try to send an email address to an email address from {color:#ff0000}*gmail.com*{color} such as {color:#ff0000}****@gmail.com*{color}, the email succesfully sent without no error notified, however the {color:#ff0000}****@gmail.com*{color} account cannot receives this email although I waited for serveral days.
If anyone know the solution to fix this problem, please help me, thanks all of you very much.
