Can document tabs/docking & (gravity)hand tool be turned off?

Hello, Is there a way to work with all of your open documents as individual floating windows like previous versions or are we stuck with the tabbing system? It's add extra work and made dragging and dropping between documents a pain. Also is there a way to turn off the gravity like scrolling when using the hand tool? I've searched the topics but had found no answers.

When you turn off any device, it will disconnect from the internet. My sense is that you're not quite explaining what's happening. Do you mean that when you turn it back on again it doesn't automatically reconnect? Do you mean the if it just goes to sleep (as opposed to being powered off) that it switches from WiFi to cellular? Or are you saying that you think that when you turn off the iPad, the router disconnects?
If you're trying to say that the iPad disconnects from WiFi when asleep and switches to cellular, the solution is to keep it plugged into a power source.

Moving a document view with the hand tool is locked at edge of window

I know this must be simple but cannot figure it out!
When I try and move a corner of my open document with the hand tool to the center of the document window in CS5 when zoomed out, it stops at the edges and will not move inward any further. It is sometimes more convenient to be able to work on a zoomed in corner of a document when it is centered in the document window. If I go to the rotate tool and set a slight angle, I can then move the document anywhere in the window at any magnification! Is there a setting that is locking the document at the edge of the screen when zoomed out?

So open Regedit, navigate to the CS6 directory [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Photoshop\60.0] or the CS5 directory [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Photoshop\12.0]
Then from Regedit's Edit menu, select New > DWORD (32 bit) Value.
Name it and enter 2 as the Hex value. Open Photoshop and you have Overscrolling in both 32 and 64 bit versions. The key can always be deleted if you change your mind.

Everytime I get online I have to manually go to tools and turn off the proxy before I can load any webpages. Is there anyway I can keep it off permanetly?

How can I stop Yosemite resizing windows when I turn off my screen?

I have a 2012 mac mini running Yosemite. It's hooked up to an LG TV via the thunderbolt port and an adapter.
When I turn off the TV and the turn it back on again, all of my windows get moved over to the leftmost 2/3rds of the screen (approx). It's super annoying constantly moving windows back to where I left them.
Can someone explain why this is happening and suggest how I can fix it?

Format > Text > More > uncheck the options
It is a paragraph attribute so you need to select the text you want to apply it to.
Then resave the styles that apply to that text.

Using ios 5.0.1 in an iPhone 4. Can't get the gps to turn off in the Reminder app even though I do not have a location reminder set. Battery life suffers because of it. What can I do other than keep the app turned off all the time in settings?

Installed ios 5 and created a location reminder to see how it worked. The gps icon came on and I expected it would because how else would the phone know where I'm at.
After I was reminded and marked it as complete I also deleted the reminder from the app. The gps never went off and the only way I can get it to turn off is by switching the app off in the location settings.
Installed ios 5.0.1 and the same thing. I turned on the app in the location settings to see what would happen and I was again reminded by location to the same reminder. It said in the alert that the reminded was 28 days old. Like I said I deleted the reminder from the app. Somehow it's still in the apps memory and I have no idea how to get rid of it for good.

I recently updated my iPad mini to ios 7, which made me put a password for my lock screen. Now, it won't accept my password, and I'm unable to restore using iTunes because it says I must turn off Find My iPhone feature. However, I can't turn off this feature if I can't unlock my iPad. If you need to restore your phone but can't turn off Find My iPhone, you'll have to force it into recovery mode in order to restore it, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808.

I had this problem. One day I went to use my iPad and it said disabled... I went to itunes to restore it and I got the same message you got to turn off Find My iPad but couldn't because I something was wrong with my password. My iPad only uses Wifi and I noticed it wasn't connected to my wifi (yet, I'm at home) so I couldn't go to iCloud and wipe it. I did find this to be helpful and now I'm back and running:
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.
