Can E72 get a virus?

Hi,
My phone has been actiing as if it has a virus, like applications shut down, browser stops loading, and getting "connect to internet" message all the time. What can i do to remove the virus. Also, im using the memory card that came with the phone, so how would i scan that to remove the virus?
Thanks

I guess it must be the sim card message area sms that you are seeing.
Go to the sim messages area and check this out. If there are too many messages delete whatever u dont want there. Or you can even move them to Phone/Mem card storage.

  • If I use Bootcamp, can I get Windows viruses on my Mac?

I am using Mac OS X 10.8.3. I am about to install Windows 7 on my iMac with Bootcamp. Can I get Windows virus on my Mac because of Bootcamp?

If you do, it'll only affect the Windows partition of your hard drive.
If you feel really worried, I'd suggest running Windows in a virtual machine using Parallels or similar. You can set things up so that there's no access to your Mac from the virtual machine and, if the VM gets a problem, you can just delete it.

  • Can I get a virus on my iPod touch?

my family has a Mac and my sister has an apple laptop and we just found out that we have a virus some how coming through to our wifi box. no one knows that I am using the wifi on my iPod touch but I wanted to know if I can get a virus on my iPod/ if it came from my iPod? and how can I prevent and if so get rid of it? please help ASAP!

I have not heard of an virus that can infect an unjailbroken iPod. However, if you get an infected item on your iPod and transfer that to your computer that may infect the computer if opens or something similar on the computer.

  • Can you get a virus on your ipod?

This is for my Ipod touch 4g. Ok so i opened this email and it (was from someone i know) thinking that it was a harmless quiz or webpage. The email told me to click this link and nothing happened ( THIS HAPPENED IN MY IPOD). Then the next day my friend told that it was a virus and not to click it. When you click it, it sends the same virus to everyone in your contact list. I don't know if you can get a virus on your ipod though. Some people said yes and some people said no...Someone please help me a.s.a.p

Its only possible if that specific virus was initially designed to affect iPods. However most hackers would prefer to set spyware and malware to your computer instead, because it holds much more valuable information.. So saying that, it most likely isn't a virus.

  • If i have music from limewire can i get a virus on my iphone

can music from limewire give my iphone a virus

Limewire was discontinued and shut down about a year ago and as a result of this, most of the music and files you find in the program are corrupt or virus-laden. Your computer may be affected, but your iPhone will not get a virus from a malicious music file because the mailicious code was not designed to be harmful to iOS, only to Windows.

  • Can I get a virus on my iPad2?

I was on a website using a Google search engine when i get a message saying a virus has been detected on my iPad  which i scanned then it directed me to install or to do something about it. I pressed ok then it took me to install an app which i thought was fishy so i ended up not installing it in case it caused further damage. I wanna know if my iPad 2 can get viruses and what is the best course of action. Thank You.

It is close to impossible to get a virus on iPad unless you have put unofficial software on it (to jail brake). Make sure you have updated to the latest version of iOS and do not fall for these kind of ads. Stay safe out there

  • Can you get a virus on an iPad?

My friend and i were on a seedier website and when we played a quicktime file the internet cut out, we were connected but couldn't load any pages. I just turned wifi off then on again and everything works fine now but should i be concerned?

You should only be concerned if keep frequenting the seedier websites because while the iPad will not get a virus it might get a Trojan if you get suckered into download one and giving permission for it to be installed.

  • Can I get a virus on my iphone if I accidentally clicked a link in an email?

Someone's email sent me one today that had a link in it... I was only half paying attention, recognized the sender and hit the link before I realized my stupid move.  I have three email accounts hooked up to the phone, and within a few hours, they started going nuts on my phone.  By that I mean, I kept getting notifications on my screen that I was receiving emails, even though these were from a few weeks ago.  I deleted my email accounts, but I'm wondering if I need to do anything to my phone?  Can I load the accounts in again?  Should I have virus software on my phone?
    Thanks for your help!

No, it cannot infect your iPhone.

  • My desktop pc runs windows xp which is shortly to be discontinued. my laptop is macpro retina can i get a virus to my mac vis my desktop?

i have a desktop pc running windows xp, shortly i will be losing any future updates including security protection. i am going to purchase a mac pro retina. can my laptop get infected if connected wirelessly to my desktop?

Make sure your router is also up to date. The number of people with out of date routers and firmware isn't as bad as XP users hanging on but does pose problems.
It does not cost much to put together a current Haswell motherboard + cpu + new RAM + SSD for the system (and copy of Windows 8.1+) to be up and running and current - and supported.
Even so, you should be using some 3rd party security product already.

  • Can you get an virus or trojaner through the connection-cable (PC) from your iPod touch?

I had an trojaner on my PC earlier and my iPod touch 4G was connected to my computer. Is it possible for the trojaner or viruses in general to make their way through the connection cable or something? If a photo or something wasn't infected. I mean sync-wise, etc.

It would be very difficult for a virus or trojan to get from the iPod to your PC via USB. Attaching a virus to any media file such as a photo or music track is very, very difficult, and all known exploits that would do this were blocked a long time ago. Attaching a trojan would not be possible. Unless there's a new exploit I haven't heard of, only if a trojan program was attached to an email and from there transferred to an app that could then be synced to your computer would it be possible malware come from your iPod. I think that rather unlikely and that your trojan got into your PC from some other source.

Your computer appears to be infected
We believe that your computer is infected with malicious software. If you don't take action, you might not be able to connect to the Internet in the future.
Learn how to remove this software.

No you do not have a virus. That is a standard web popup usually, that tres to get up to download a "removal program". The removal program is the virus or similar.

No - that was probably adware trying to get you to buy software

  • Can iPad get a mail virus ? Why is there no software or that yet ?

I've iPad 3 , it's amazing , but I thought my mail might be vulnerable, as I've been hit in my laptop .is ther any protection for iPad ? Can I get a virus thru mail on iPad ?

By the strict definition of a virus, a malicious program that perpetrates itself across your operating system and spreads through your device, no. The 'sandbox' nature of hte iPad prevents that. Sandbox meaning that most programs are not allowed to communicate with each other so infections cannot spread. Especially since the iPad lacks the file management system that PC's are based on.
iPads are still vulnerable to browser hijacks (although the 5.1.1 update is supposed to help that). You also can get malware on them although it shouldn't be able to spread. The main risk, as I understand it, of spreading something on your iPad to your PC is if you download something - hard to do with Safari - and then get that file onto your computer. but the file types you're limited to downloading should prevent/curtail that.
Viruses written for pc's and mac's literally won't run on an iPad because they are different operating systems.
Most malware etc, requires direct user intervention to happen....clicking on that bad link, etc.
So you're relatively safe at this point in time. Not to say the bad guys aren't working on something. I'm sure they are. where there's a challenge there are geeks striving to overcme it, but viruses, as defined, don't affect the iPad.
