Can early pay discounts be recorded at time of sales invoicing

If a customer is invoiced on terms of 2% 10 days, Net 30 can the 2% be discount be posted upon invoicing? Desired resutls:
revenue = $100 credit
discounts = $2 debit
accounts receivable = $98 debit
Currently revenue and AR = $100 and discount is realized when customer pays.

Yes it is always possible to do so. Many companies invoices their corporate customers on Net rate. Hence you can invoice your customer on such a rate which should be net of discount. I mean to say discount should be given in your case on the face of invoice. Ask your SD guy to do the job for you.

SAP will pick Exchange rate type M for translations by default and you cannot change it. So you have to change the exchange rate type for your invoice or maintain same rates for that day alone.
This is what is given in SAP documentation:
"For posting and clearing, the system uses the exchange rate type M (average rate). This exchange rate type must be entered in the system and you must also enter the exchange rates for this type."

Can't get vocals to record in time!

i've just started to use garageband, and it's driving me crazy!
i'm trying to record vocals ontop of a track i've inputted and it's not recording in time!
can anyone help me, as i'm on the verge of a meltdown!!!!

Is this a result of latency delays? What kind of interface are you using? How are you monitoring the previously laid down track? Have you tried skootching the track a little bit to line everything up? (Though this should not be required)

yes, once paid for, you can download it for free on any other mac you own.

Record working time: can't copy row from worklist for previous week

When copying a row from worklist to recorded work time for previous week the following error happen.

If I recall correctly, the Windows clipboard system allows the developer to place different types of data in the clipboard, and convert between them. It is often possible, for example, to paste formatted text as plain text and so on. Large amounts of data are sometimes stored as "links" back to the producing program, so that it can transfer data directly.
Now this is just a guess, but when you select all with Ctrl+A, there's a chance that Skype in fact puts all the information about the whole message into the clipboard, including its metadata such as time, sender, etc. Dragging would just select the text.
If the receiving program cannot interpret the metadata, and the plain-text version is not also stored in the clipboard, then pasting would fail.
Again, as I say, this is just a guess. We would have to get confirmation from the Skype developers as to whether this is true.
Have you tried pasting into different programs? (Word, plain text editor, Powerpoint...) If one of them can accept the clipboard contents then we may get a further clue.

Can we display Approved Times as marked in Record Working Time Calendar

In the Calendar provided by Record Working Time iview,I could see the following three types of dates as marked
1)Rejected
2)Not Released
3)Excess Time Recorded
Similarly is it possible for us to mark the dates for which the OT is approved.
Can some thing be done at the backend with configuration to achieve the same.
We do not have NWDI to modify webdynpro code of the iview

The reason behind this was
the descision to keep the interface simple: Highlighting should be used
for records (or days on the calendar) for which action might be required
by the user. No matter if a record is approved or still to be approved,
the next step in the workflow is not for the user to perform but for
the approver.
If a record has been rejected, action is required by the user and
therefore the record is highlighted. Currently, there are no plans to
change this.
This could be changed on a project-basis, of course. Such a change
would require action in Java as well as in ABAP, since we do not
transfer the status to the frontend except for the detail screen, which
is for one record only. What would have to be done?
1) Add a new semantic state "approved" to the DDic element used for
semantic states.
2) Set this semantic sate within the RFC-layer (using the method
"build_timesheet", IIRC).
3) Possibly do the same for the calendar as well.
4) Adopt the Java-side to take this new semantic state into account.
This would of course be a modification, so please understand that I
just wrote down a rough outline of the changes that would have to
be introduced. I didn't actually do an analysis or design for such
a modification but simply noted all the steps that I am aware of that
would have to be performed.

For example, my monthly bill is very consistently around $55. I'm not sure how my financial situation will be during the next few months. But right now, I can afford a big bill payment. Using the "make a payment" option, can I make a payment to Verizon of $165 in advance, so I don't have to worry about my cell bills in the upcoming months where my financial situation and income may be up in the air?

well, when that time came, i could afford a $5 or $10 differential much easier than I could a $55 or $60 payment. I've just thought it interesting that in the "make a payment" entry box, you can put in what you want to pay. I'm assuming it works for it if you can only pay $30 now and then pay the rest of your bill later in the month. I just want to know if it works the other way too...as in letting me put a payment in advance like credit on the account...not saying my bill definitely would be paid in full.

My client wants some items to be transferred from A warehouse to B warehouse. When they transfer , they have to pay some octroi charges. This octroi charges they want to include in item cost at time of Inventory Transfer.
How do we give this additional cost effect in item cost at the time of Inventory transfer? Please help .

Which ever route you take (SDK or manual within the system), you still have to follow the process steps involved.
