Can electronic signatures be utilized within a "form" that I make on forms central?

I am trying to create waivers and forms that need signatures.  Can I somehow embed or utilized electronic signatures in forms on formcentral?

Hi,
Sorry, FormsCentral currently does not support this.
You may want to check the Adobe Echosign service: https://www.echosign.adobe.com/en/home.html
Thanks,
Lucia

    Can you have a form that you create in forms central a routable form?

    Hi;
    There isn't anything specifically to route a form in FormsCentral but I have proposed to a few users they could take advantage of the new "Save Web Form" feature and by instructing users in the form how to route it would be able to accomplish a routing "work flow": http://forums.adobe.com/message/5917475#5917475

  • Is there anyway to take a picture or scan something within my pdf form that I make?

    I need to have a form for my SmartService Program (which uses imported PDF forms)  that can either scan a page or take a picture and put it into the form while using it.  Is there anyway to do this?

    ... I have had numerous computers over the past years
    Let me guess, you have had numerous Windows computers, all of which crashed or became worthless virus-ridden junk. Happens every day, yet people think Macs are expensive.
    Anyway, you are going to need the assistance of third party utilities to extract your iPod Touch's content. See wjosten's procedure here:

  • How can I submit a form that depends on another form?

    Hello,
    I have a jsp with 2 different forms. The one is a Login form and the other one does some calculations.
    In my servlet I want to be able to proceed with the calculation form (when I click submit) only if someone is logged in.
    How can I do that? Any suggestions please?

    Actually what I did is when I submit the calculation form in my servlet I am requesting the login bean ( this is where I store the username and password if a customer logs in, plus a boolean variable to keep track if someone is logged in or not) like that:
    Login login = (Login)session.getAttribute("login");
    But I want somehow to get the Bean boolen variable and check if it is true or false, but I don't know how to do it. I did the following and it didn't work:
    //create a new boolean variable to store the Bean boolean
    boolean checkLoggedIn = request.getIsLogged();
    Any suggestions?

    Hi.
    I need to create a hyperlink on a slide in Captivate 5 that links to an internet site.
    I cannot seem to locate this function on the menus in Captivate 5.
    Can someone please give me the instructions on how to do this?

    Hi there
    It's unfortunate that you missed the links we tried to put where you would find them before you even posted. Because if you had read through them, it would have saved you from having to post your question as it is answered there.
    Even though you missed the links, I'd heartily encourage you to read through them. Especially the Frequently Encountered Issues link, as it will also address some issues you will likely encounter with linking.

  • Printing a report from forms that has a param form with orarrp 10g

    Hello,
    I have reports that i can successfully print from Oracle Forms using orarrp and web.ShowDocument(etc...) that do not have paraforms.
    However for my reports that have paraforms I have am unable to print them. Basically I need to catch the printer destype event from the paramform and execute some custom code based on the decision. Does anyone have any experience with this?
    Thanks

    I dont know if you want to explore this, but there is a better utility than orarrp that overcomes some of the drawbacks of orarrp.
    Perhaps it might solve your problem.

    Currently learning JDeveloper and need to create a form where one can view multiple records from the datasource ,update, create, delete and query the data. is there a tutorial that i can reference on that matter. By the way i've already got most of the functionality working except the query part.

  • I have adobe Acrobat - I am trying to do a electronic signature and its is asking for a passwork

    I am trying to sign a document that is protected from an university. It is asking me for a password to put in my electronic signature.  I don't have that password and it isn't the one for my account

    Hi Estella,
    It sounds like the university has disallowed signing in this particular document, unless you have  Document Permissions password. You will have to ask the person who created the document what the password is, so that you can sign the document.
    I wish I had a different answer for you--but there's no way around that without the document password.

  • Speed up process to create web forms that put info into database

    Hi All
    Basically what Im trying to ask is that I have been developing jsp pages with some javabeans to insert information into databases and then to insert/retreive this information. I have been doing this by hand and it takes time even though I have a library of beans that I have built overtime. My management wants me to deploy new forms within 30 minutes.
    Current method of creating forms
    ==========================
    1 - I make the form in dreamweaver
    2- Copy and paste the code into my IDE jpadpro
    3- Put in the bean connection in the jsp page and create new insert statement
    4 - Create the result page
    5- Ftp pages to server
    I am looking to speed the process of creating new forms which connect to ms sql server (insert) information. I have already invested in crystal reports to make reports which i think has cut my development time by 10 foldes. I am looking for something similar to insert information into the databases.
    If there is no such software then is there a java IDE where I can design web page forms visually (like dreamweaver/ microsoft infopath) and create the jdbc connections through wizards. I think microsofts visual studio does this, but i cant use this as i am working with j2ee with ms sql server database.
    I am currently looking into eclipse with the myeclipse plugin to see if it will speed things up. Any suggestions from anyone most welcomed.
    Also will JSF be better to use?
    Regards
    Antek

    Cutting down development times of forms applications is probably why they created Formular (http://formular.redeye.no/ ).
    In my company, we use Formular to define the data we wish to collect. We do this in XML. The XML is pretty straight forward to grasp. Formular uses this XML to generate the actual HTML form so you do not need to build several JSPs for each form you display. Formular handles multiple pages gracefully.
    After building a few forms this way, you quickly learn ways to save time by establishing a library of commonly used components such as data field validators.
    These are components you always end up using in many forms (such as data formating, value range checks, required checks, etc.).
    The Formular package allows you to reuse those.
    The other fine feature is the availability of data sources. These are classes that Formular uses to populate your forms (or example generate select lists, or radio buttons from data you have in a database or even a file).
    Finally, you might be lucky to be in a position to create a single form processing model for your applications. What we have is a generic form processing class that receives data collected by Formular, and use the configuration data from the XML to determine how that data will be handled. You could for instance have a class that you call/invoke dynamically depending on how the form is configured.
    I use the XML file custom parameters for this (these params and their values are invisible to the user but accessible by the generic form handler that comes with the package).
    You might use these to specify the table you want that form to be posted into, and also maybe even specify exactly which fields.
    For our usage, this package is of great value, and we found the licensing costs very attractive. A license is around 43 dollars per site if I remember well.
    For the amount of work you put in, I'd recommend this software for you to evaluate.

  • Is there a way to create an export button on a pdf form that will send form info into ongoing excel spreadsheet?

    I'm trying to see if there is a way to create a submit button on my pdf form that will export the form data into a saved (ongoing) excel spreadsheet. The end result i'm hoping for would be a spreadsheet that lists all the information i receive from each form.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you,

    Not really. But you can combine the data from multiple forms into a single (new) spreadsheet via Tools - Forms - More Form Options - Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet...

  • Creating forms that submit the info with AdobePro 11

    Can I make a form that will submit the form and will it work on Mac/Apple Computers

    Yes, you can create a PDF form in Acrobat and distribute it with FormsCentral, with certain limitations as discussed here: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2533
    When a form is submitted, the form data is sent to the web server, as opposed to the entire PDF. Note that the Mac users should use Adobe Reader (or Acrobat) since they will not work with Preview. They will also work with Adobe Reader on iOS.

  • Know the UID of the form that "called" a CFL

    Hello,
    I attached a CFL to an item.
    The CFL is connected to OITM.
    Than, I caused the CFL to be displayed and pulled all of its
    UDS fields and values (the list below).
    Can anyone tell me what is the significance of the integer values in the list ?
    What I hoped to achieve was to find out whether it
    was possible to know the UID of the form that "called" the CFL
    form.
    The UDS list:
    UID: SYS_61, Val: , Type: dt_SHORT_TEXT, Len: 510
    UID: SYS_63, Val: 152807632, Type: dt_LONG_NUMBER, Len: 4
    UID: SYS_67, Val: 152000360, Type: dt_LONG_NUMBER, Len: 4
    UID: SYS_68, Val: 109818288, Type: dt_LONG_NUMBER, Len: 4
    UID: SYS_70, Val: 87331240, Type: dt_LONG_NUMBER, Len: 4
    UID: SYS_71, Val: N, Type: dt_SHORT_TEXT, Len: 1
    UID: SYS_90, Val: , Type: dt_SHORT_TEXT, Len: 1
    UID: SYS_92, Val: 109820240, Type: dt_LONG_NUMBER, Len: 4
    UID: SYS_95, Val: 151589400, Type: dt_LONG_NUMBER, Len: 4
    UID: SYS_100, Val: 153341432, Type: dt_LONG_NUMBER, Len: 4
    UID: SYS_101, Val: 106670936, Type: dt_LONG_NUMBER, Len: 4
    UID: SYS_102, Val: 113057784, Type: dt_LONG_NUMBER, Len: 4
    Thanks

    Hi David (and all),
    The solution I did was similar to the one you suggested:
    On the CFL event (before=true) I inserted into
    a global variable the UID of the form.
    When the CFL form loads (TypeEx = "10003", before = true),
    I copy the value from the global to a local variable and
    clear the global.
    At this point, the base ("mother") form is still in focus,
    so I combine the UID I have with that piece of information:
    Try
    Dim oForm1 As SAPbouiCOM.Form = Nothing
    oForm1 = SBO_Application.Forms.Item(sBaseFormUID)
    sFormTypeEx = oForm1.TypeEx
    If (sFormTypeEx = "XXX_FormType") Then
       bIsFormSelected = oForm1.Selected
       If (bIsFormSelected = True) Then
          bAddUDS = True
       End If
    End If
    Catch ex As Exception
       bAddUDS = False
    End Try
    if (bAddUDS = true)
    end if
    In this way, I can be sure of the origin of the CFL form.
    Thank you all for your kind advice.
    David- Points granted.

  • Can I open a Reader 9 Document with electronic signatures in Reader 10?

    I currently have an Adobe Reader 9 document with fields filled out and also with several electronic signatures.
    I need to be able to edit this document.
    My understanding is that I can only edit or add the typewritter tool only when using Reader 10.
    So couple of questions. First, will I be able to open this Reader 9 document using Reader 10?
    Second, will I be able to add the typewritter tool once I download Reader 10?
    Third, will I be able to make changes to existing form field data, once I add the typewritter tool?
    Fourth, will this process invalidate the digital signatures already authenticated?

    The "Typewriter tool" is only available in Acrobat Pro. Reader 11 DOES have the ability to "Add text comments" to a PDF but it isn't exactly the same thing. I'm unsure if "comments" will print or not.

  • How do I complete an electronic signature field in an Interactive PDF form (created in Indesign)?

    How do I complete an electronic signature field in an Interactive PDF form (created in Indesign)? This form will serve as an employment application on a website. The goal is to have any person (interested in applying for a job via the Internet) access, complete and electronically sign the form upon submission.

    Hi,
    Via createPDF you would not be able to electronic sign the PDF form, you would either require Adobe Reader or purchase Adobe Acrobat to sign the PDF.
    To download Adobe Reader

    You can purchase Adobe Acrobat

  • I cannot place an electronic signature in a document with form fields?!

    I have Acrobat Pro installed on a windows 7 and windows 8.1 machine. On both I have lost the ability to place an electronic signature (Draw my signature) and only have the option for a digital signature. The problem is remedied if I print to pdf but then I lose the form fields.
    I'm an idiot and so are the people that I need to send this to. I just want to easily fill the necessary fields out, draw my signature and forward it to the next guy to do the same so that it can be printed and turned in. Digital signatures are severe overkill for this (and i'm not going to be able to teach everyone how to create one) and I need to know how to re-enable the ability to electronically sign and keep the form fields.

    re: "Digital signatures are severe overkill for this"
    Yep, I discovered that as well.
    I rolled my own "signature" for a client...I just added a 3 character "initials" field and a "Certify" button.
    The initials act as the signature and once they hit the certify button, all form fields are set to read-only....via custom javascript.
    The only problem is that I am unable to SAVE the document via javascript because of Acrobat trusted functions....
    which I don't have.
    So I just prompt the user to Save the document at that time.
    It's a little ugly, but it works..
