Can existing AppleWorks documents be printed out ?
Can anyone explain how to print out existing Apple Works files once they have been opened by the Pages app ?

how do you submit the lines, with the lines-Statement or the underline? Which printer? If it is a needle it might cause problems. What driver SWIN?

Can I use eprint to print out document as duplex?
I was able to print out using eprint service. But it only print one side per page. I am just wondering can I print out both page? Thanks.

My A4 centred document keeps printing out off centre.
I have an A4 Document which has everything centred, when i print out the document is off centre and I can't figure out why this is happening. I have tried exporting as pdf & jpgs and when i print those out they are off centre too. The actual InDesign document is aligned to the centre perfectly though!
Help!I just want to be clear about what "the same direction" means. After rotation the same elements are too close to the same edge of the page.
If that's true on all the prints, the problem is in the communication between ID and the printer (and that's not all that unusual with Ricoh printer drivers and ID). ID is not known for it's native printing, and it doesn't get along with some print drivers at all. Top of the list is HP, and Ricoh might be second. In such cases exporting PDF and printing from Acrobat is the suggested workaround. It disturbs me, though that you say the PDF also prints off center, which is why I think this is a printer problem. -

Can I copy, email, or print out text messages?
I would like to save some text messages, & I'm wondering if they can be saved, emailed or printed?
1. Off hand, I would say that you could, depending how much trouble you want to go thru. I am not sure about your iPhone 5c, but I have done so with my iPad 2. I guess the main thing you would need is various difference e-mail addresses on various devices. In which case, I just send myself a text message from one device to another, which is connected to a printer.
2. Something else that would help, if you had an e-printer. I do not have one myself, but from what I understands, you just send your text message like an e-mail to the e-printer. Then it prints out the text message.
3. Furthermore, you might want to check out "Google Cloud Print" at http://www.google.com/cloudprint. It has difference options you can choose from. So you can use this app with an e-printer, or you can use it with a classic (non-e-printer) instead. As far as myself goes, I have it configured to work with a classic printer. And it does just fine, with good results. -

My PDF is set to A4 but prints out as A3?
I used Acrobat X to create a page of PDF document, it prints out fine in Adobe Reader, or Internet Explorer plug-in on Windows.
However when I use Google Chrome browser on Windows to print it, the A4 page comes out twice the size (by width and by height). This only happens in Chrome. I wonder what's in PDF that's causing this issue? Or if it's Chrome's bug, what can I do as a workaround?I would like to change the PDF file itself so the problem doesn't occur in any Chrome browser. Because I'm publishing this PDF on my website for the public to download.
I'm wondering what could have caused this problem and how to fix it -- obviously it's Chrome PDF viewer's bug but not every PDF file has this problem, so I want to tweak my PDF to make it compatible to Chrome PDF viewer. -
Any solution to why the first page of secure document will print, but is blank?
Title page of a secured document is printing out blank. The page has stamps on it and is clearly visible during the print preview before print. Second and subsequent pages print fine.
Unsure if some setting has been unchecked that skips printing the first page or some unknown error.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to change the template of the root site without creating the susites in another web application.
I recommend to export all the existing subsites and import them to new web application.

After EHP6 Upgarde Picking list print out is resulting format & overlapping issues
Hi All,
We have recently upgraded our system from ECC 6.0 to EHP6 .Now when user trying to print a Picking list document then Print out is overlapping with content .
But when we check the spool the Print Priview looks good but when trying to print the content is overlapping & observed the font size is chaned i.e. the content is displayed in Bold format .
But for those spools which were created before upgarde & when we give a print then Print out is fine. So some thing happend after upgrade that causing us the Print out problem .
we are using device type HPLJ4 & try to print Picking list output and it is causing problem.
Kindly provide your suggestions.

Thanks for your reply and yes the issue got resolved . Actually we are using a custom device type ZHPLJ4 which is a copy of HPLJ4 . But as part of Upgrade ZHPLJ4 HELVE with scalablity is no longer supported. So we have removed the entry from SE73 as it even doesnt exist in HPLJ4 . Now it is working as expected.

How do I put a online form on the web to be filled in and then printed out
I created a pdf form with fields to be completed on our website. Once the form is completed how do I get the person to print the completed form out as it looks on the website. Also is there an option to email the completed form as it appears on the website?

I started it in Forms Central and them kept updating and finalizing the form in Acrobat Pro. What I want is to put the form on our website so can be completed and either printed out by that person or sent to us just as the form appears on the website all filled in. Is that possible?

Can i have customers to print out a ticket after having booked and paid an event? Or can I use vouchers or any other kind of downloadable thing as a ticket? Want to avoid sending tickets to customers per mail.

The events module will allow a customer to register (paid or unpaid) which the system will track and send out confirmation email. However no voucher/ticket is created only an email confirmation in this case.

i'm relative new to java, and surprise surprise, i have a problem (strange uh?)
well,
i need to write out a "RoundRectangle", that is sensible to event mouseEntered and MouseClicked: i wrote my class (JComponet) and i tried it out with a JFrame, all ok.
now, i have added annother of my RoundRectangle, and only the second was painted.
so, i created a JPanel (FlowLayout), and setContentPane() was made, then, i have putted (add()) both of RoundRectangle to this panel, and NONE of them was painted out.
i had tried with a repaint, nothing.
i have added a JLabel, and it was painted out (i putted the string of a remote file...)
this program is splitted in two file: the output you have in your "dos prompt" is: System.out.println(f.getContentPane());

Danielewell, i'm not currently looking at your code, but weren't you constructing that roundrect stuff with constructor that got length and width as parameters? in such case you may call that setPreferredSixe inside constructor... this way that preferred size will always be what you most probably want it to be.
why your other roundrect is not shwing, i don't know, but maybeyou didn't set its preferred size...
if you would use GridBagLayout then this preferred size stuff would not matter that much, because layout manager would make your rectangles as big as possible. -
I'm trying to connect a LAN printer, HP Color Laser Jet 3800dn, through a Time Capsule but no one on the network can see it. The printer works fine if I connect it directly to my iMac. Any suggestions?

There is a good chance the printer is just getting auto IP internally..
Plug it into your TC. And then set to dhcp via the controls on the printer.
If you know the name of the printer it should be immediately available to the network.. but anyway, you can find its IP by printing out the test page. That will also give you the network name.
Most later HP printers have web access to the print servers.. just type the ip into your browser and see if it comes up.
From the Mac, you should then be able to set it up via the printer preferences. Most HP will just appear.. but if not you should perhaps delete the local version and then check again for network printers. -

Write a program which represents a vehicle museum, which houses 2 types of vehicles: cars and motorbikes, these have the following in common: licence plate, year of manufacture, value, colour, the variables exclusive to cars are no of doors, no of seats, engine type(petrol/diesel), engine size (litres), the variables exclusive to bikes are: bike type(sports/tourer/trails) and engine size (cc).
The task is to create a program that will:-
add new vehicles (bikes or cars)
list all vehicles manufactured in a given year
list all vehicles of 1 litre or more (1 litre = 1000cc)
list all bikes
list all cars
The first thing I did was to write the code for the classes which I think is OK, the vehicle class being the parent class, with the cars and bikes as subclasses.
Then i've attempted to write methods for all the functions: addcar, addbike, the main menu and the methods for listing the vehicles in a given year and 1 litre or more.
Where im getting a bit stuck is the fact there is 2 objects: cars and bikes, which im having trouble with. heres the code, i've put comments on it where i think im going wrong:
