Can external drive be connected to iPod Touch to expand capacity
is there any way to attach an external drive - like a flash drive - to an iPod touch so that it has more capacity available? 32GB is too small for all my audio (9000 songs) & video files but I prefer the touch to the classic...

I am very troubled with my ipod touch because I don't see my ipod folder showing up on my computer. i have tried all possible ways to make it viewable but somehow i end up seeing only my internal storage (dcim/pictures). Its really frustrating because bought a new laptop with windows 8 and installed a new itunes but only to find out that i cant transfer my songs right away.... You can't do that.
And before you decide to store any music that you own on a computer at work, talk to your IT department. Many organizations do not permit it for legal reasons. Standard policies are that anything stored on company owned computers is the property of the company. It could not be legally stored on their machines unless you transfer the licenses and all copies, physical and digital, to the company, meaning you no longer own the music. If they were to be audited and could not prove that they own the music, they would be subject to copyright violation penalties. Just use your iPod when you're at the office if you want to listen to music. -
Working on a single computer with multiple users, I have set things up to allow each user to view and listen to the others' music libraries under the "Shared Library" function. Can you then connect an iPod touch and copy music from a shared library?
Was your wife logged into the libray at the time you tried to log in? I have had a similar problem and it was because another user was logged into the library when I attempted to. I got the permission denied banner.

We have downloaded apps to our pc but we can't get them on our ipod touch. We have synced our ipod to our computer. We can't even get them when we are some where there is wifi. We don't have wifi at our home and was hoping to be able to plug it into our computer and get everything from our computer to our ipod but it doesn't work. What do we do?
Sync them from your iTunes library:

Note that you can only sync apps from the one syncing computer/library that yo can have. If the iPod was synced to another computer/iTunes libary or set up via wifi then to make this computer/itunes library your syncing computer/library:

All I can suggest are the standard fixes:
- Reset the car system/contact the manufacturer
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Reset all settings
