You can use iTunes to sync them to your iPad.

IPad can't load movie

I successfully downloaded 3 movies (rentals). When we tried to play them today on our 6 hour road trip, the iPad says it can't load the movies!! Help!

I tried connecting my iPad to iTunes and clicking on the Movies tab. Then, I deleted the rental from iPad and recopied it back onto my iPad. It worked fine afterwords.
Sometimes the file corrupts. Hope this works for you!

Can't Load Movies to ATV1 with iTunes 11

In iTunes 10 I was able to load movies to my ATV1 through syncing. Now that I have upgraded to iTunes 11, I can't seem to figure out how to upload movies from my iTunes Library to my ATV1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there is no itunes 11, so you will need to check what you actually have done to itunes.

i cant load movies on my ipad but i went to best buy and they said that they are on there but i am trying to load movies ontop of movies and i have already re-stored my ipad and it still isnt working, what do I do ? Also they said its a crypting error how do i get the movies off and reload new ones?

You likely have an HD copy of the movie, but will need an SD copy to transfer to your iPod. See the following article for more information and steps for downloading the SD copy of your movie.

I know that you can retireve purchased items, such as music, apps, books & TV shows and load them onto multiple computers, however I can't seem to do the same with Movies. I have purchased some movies on another computer, and want to transfer it over to a second computer, too, that uses the same account.
Can I do this?

Films can currently only be re-downloaded in the US (and I don't think that all films can be re-downloaded there). You can copy them over via, for example, a flash drive or external drive to your other computer and add them to that computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library, or you might be able to copy them over home sharing if your computers are on the same network.

I would highly appreciate your wisdom and advice on this
functionality. Lets say I have two
movieclips on the stage(ClipA, ClipB). I would like user to
be able to click on any of them and, this click
will invode a createclip function which pretty much creates a
dynamic movieclip and loads
whatever I assign to it such other existing clips within the
library. The only problem I have
makeing the functionality work is that I would like to limit
the function call to one at a time.
So if the user clicks on ClipA, function createclip would get
invoke and will attach the assigned
movie clip. And when user clicks on ClipB, I would like to
end the function call that was invoked
by the ClipA and then then allow ClipB to invoke the
function.
Pretty much it would a logic like:
if(createClip = true)
end it;
else
createClip();
When a movie is attached, can it be unloaded or unattached?
I don't know how to write a function that would check if
function createClip() has
already been invoked. I would highly appreciate any direction
in this.

If the objective is just to get a unique list of authors based on your key, you could use the REPLACE statement in MySQL which functions as an "insert on duplicate key update" type of construct.

Catching an exception to detect dupes is functional but not very elegant. If you use REPLACE then you know your statements will always work. The drawback is that the statement is not portable across databases.

Can't put movie into iDVD

Hi, i was trying to add a video clip that is about 30 seconds long into my iDVD project.
So I hit the + button and selected "add movie". A box appeared saying "add movie here". So i double clicked and on the right hand side in the Media> Movies box, nothing appeared. The "movies" box was highlighted under iphoto. So i went into iphoto to make sure that the video clip was in there. It was. But it wasn't showing up. So then I went to Finder>All Movies> and there it was. I opened it up and it opened with Quicktime.
So does anyone know why I am not able to add this clip to my project?

How about finding Your movie icon and just drop this into iDVD.
iDVD can't handle all various types of movie file formats so I would try
to get it into iMovie first then drop this movie icon into iDVD.

Can't load movie when in 64 bit mode?

I am not able to load a movie when in 64 bit mode, only when in 32 bit. Why is that?

i have this problem too. I am aware of the fact that there is no external video support in Logic9 64bit, however, i can't even open and play internal vision (of any of my usual codecs) in Logic when in 64bit mode. This is on my MacPro, where as on my MacbookPro I can do it just fine! Strange... been like this for years in my situation.

Can't Load Movie

The iMovie movies I am burning to my standard Philips DVD+R 4.7GB burning discs, after the movie is burned onto the blank DVD, will not play onto any computer, even the one that made the DVD. It loads and recognizes the disc, shows that it is there, shows all the clips made in the media section, but when I go to actually open it, it opens iMovie then says it cannot be opened because the folder is locked or the permissions are incorrect. I then copy the movie onto the hard disk and when I open it, it opens iMovie and says, "Clip One cannot be opened, and is being skipped." "Clip Two cannot be opened and is being skipped." It says this for all the clipls and texts I had in the movie. And when it skips all of the clips, what is left is just the black periods in the movie that I put in. Why won't it open the iMovie project from the DVD? Please HELP, my present is now late for my family! iMovie version: 5.0.2 / iDVD version: 5.0.2

iMovie HD will NOT play a DVD. Use DVD Player in the Applications folder.
Also, use Verbatim DVD-R. DVD+R is less compatible with players and Macs.

I can't load Movie Magic scheduling on my Macbook Air. It loads fine on my Macbook Pro. Any suggestions?

I've tried downloading directly from the Movie Magic website. I've tried loading it from an external disc drive but it keeps failing to install. It takes me all the way through the installation process but then won't open at the end. AS I mentioned, it works perfectly on my Macbook Pro but it would be a lot easier if it also worked on my MBA.
Any suggestions most welcome.

No, it's Movie Magic Scheduler. I also have MM Budgeting and it doesn't load either. Both the MBP and MBA are fully up to date and using Lion 10.7.3. The software provider suggested it might be a permissions issue but I checked and repaired all my permissions but that hasn't helped either. Now I'm wondering if it's something to do with the MBA having a flash-based drive. Very frustrating.
I should say I'm downloading the software direct from their website and it's a special Lion-approved version.

IPod can't load .mov video files

Just bought a 30G iPod video and it only accepts .mp4 video files. I have several videos in .mov format that I have created using iMovie. They are accepted by iTunes but don't appear in my iPod after an update. Supposedly the new iPod is compatible with .mov formats (?) As I said, I used iMovie to create my videos ("shared" them for Web posting) and have not used any 3rd party software. Can somebody please give me a hint on how to proceed? I tried converting the .mov files to .mp4, but the video quality suffers significantly.

Do a search of Apple KB Docu in the Support area for iPod 5G/video and also here at the posts, there are tons of answers to your query.
No the iPod video will not play .mov files, iTunes will play any format of QT movie as long as you have the necessary codecs stored in your mac. iPod will play 2 formats, the MP4 format and the H.264 format. See this link
If you have QT Pro, you can use it to re-export your current movies to iPod-compatible/playable videos, inside QT Pro there is already additional pre-sets for you to choose.
