Can Firefox be set to remember the "zoom out" setting it last used?

How can I set a maximum (rather than minimum) font? On most page loads I have to zoom out (Ctrl -) on almost every website page to contain the page in the window?
I am using an Acer wide screen monitor.
Is there some method of having Firefox remember the setting?

There are some add-ons that can be used to change the zoom level on all sites, for example:

I always use Spotify on my smaller secondary monitor, but every time it loads it appears on my primary monitor and is the "default" size, so I need to move it to the other monitor and resize the window on a daily basis. Minefield update this morning killed the zoom-out feature.

Just installed Minefield alpha yesterday and love it! This morning, I was prompted to install an update, so I did.
Now -- the zoom-out feature is missing! This is what I love about Minefield, so something went terribly wrong. How can I get it back?

Do you mean that you do not have the View > Zoom menu item?
In Firefox 4.0 you get an orange Firefox button if the menu bar is hidden.
Go to Customize > [[X] Menu Bar to make the menu bar visible or press F10.

To back to the normal scale you have to disable the parallax.
Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Reduce Motion (turn off)
You won't be able to put the wallpepr out of frame as ios 6 (earlier), but it stop to putting the annoying zoom.

The 3GS was not sold as an unlocked phone in the US 2 years ago and AT&T did not offer unlocking then.
You bought a hacked phone. The Apple servers can detect the hack and have now disabled activation. Contact AT&T and find out if you qualify to have it unlocked or buy a new legitimately unlocked phone.

I can't delete songs on my the greyed out music on my iPhone. I've tried deleting it all by going on settings > general > usage > music and deleting it there but it just stays there despite saying 'music: no data'. I've tried unticking the songs when i plug my phone into itunes but it just comes up with a grey exclamation mark and i've also tryed just syncing my muisc and that doesn't work either
I don't want to restore my phone though because i don't want to lose my texts or notes, helppppp

I wouldn't - uncheck Sync in Music tab of iTunes then re-sync and see if your music disappears from your phone.

How to set the zoom out or in for all pages permanently?

I wish to set my page size one size smaller than the default.
The result of ctr - (zoom out) is exactly what I want (it decreases the size of text AND images). However this effect only lasts for the page I am currently on, as soon as I navigate to a different page (or just refresh the page I am at), it reverts back to the default size.
I looked at Tools->Options->Content, however that deals only with text size (besides it looks only certain pages are affected by this setting anyway).
In other words, how (or where) do I set my browser to automatically decrease size or 'Zoom Out' for all the pages I visit in order not to set it manually for every page every time.

In old firefox the zoom out stayed. Is there a way for this to happen on the new one too?

When I play on some sites I like them to be zoomed out so I can see more at once. But every time I change the screen I'm using it zooms back to the original. Is there a way to save the setting so I don't have to scroll so much?

I can't open firefox - I've tried restarting the computer several times - I'm using Microsoft Essentials and this has happened since the last virus scan.

The last virus scan brought up no problems. I can't find anything in Essentials that suggests Firefox is being blocked but I've tried opening it by clicking and right clicking but no luck. I found a suggestion on Firefox support that said I should create a new profile but I can't find the relevant exe -p program despite doing a full Search. This problem is on my desktop which is using XP (I'm sending this from my laptop where there is no problem - and I'm also using Essentials on this.) Hope someone can help as all my links are now gone.

The Reader needs new functionality to remember the zoom level

Let's say you are reading an ebook with a zoom level of 167%, and you decide to jump to a new page from the table of contents. Then you lose the zoom. This is a low level bug and should be fixed by the Abode team. Also the Reader needs forward and backword buttons to facilitate jumping to new pages of the ebook. To sum it up, a lot people are using the Reader as a ebook reader and the Reader is currently lacking some features to support reading ebooks. This is not good. Can someone tell me whether the Adobe team can read this suggestion?

Thanks for the tip. It solved one problem, but the other problem remains. When you click a new page from table of contents, the zoom is lost. This is a bug I believe.

Your statement makes no sense at all. Your nephew's Yahoo ID - whatever that is - has no bearing on whatever you are trying to do to reset the iPad.
If the iPad is locked/disabled and you can't remember the passcode, you have to restore it in order to unlock it. There is no way to bypass anything with regard to security features on the device. If you could bypass a security feature, what good would the feature do?

Apparently the latest version of Firefox does not respond to the Mac's trackpad ability to use fingers to enlarge and reduce the size of whatever it is I'm looking at. Why?

I'm using a MacBook Pro (OS 10.6.7) and appreciate the ability to enlarge and reduce web pages by using a two-finger "spread" on the trackpad. Since installing 4.0.1, it seems I can no longer do this.
The previous version of Firefox allowed this.
Why? It's lots more convenient that using "command plus the + key".
Does this mean I go back to Safari?

No, you can't save passwords automatically without a confirmation. 
That would be a security risk if you are on a computer that is not your own and it would to to easy to steel passwords. 
You will have to get use to and accept that you have to confirm a new password.
