Can flash do this?
Hi
does anyone know if i can do this in flash? i need to draw
complex 3D images that can rotate on all axis, but also be able to
zoom in to items within images, for example a bolt within a tube,
which is in a lawnmower, and then add code to allow it to work
within in a ecommece website, so the image parts can be added to a
existing shopping cart system?
The images will be used like in Solidworks so you can zoom
into a part within a part, and the zoomed through part, becomes
tranparent

Yes, it's not for a novice user for sure. It will take some
decently qualified programmer.

Newbie Question: Can Flash do this?
I would like to make some movies (whatever format would load
the quickest on a website and produce the smallest file size) that
show the stroke order and formation of Chinese characters.
The viewer would see something like an animated GIF that
shows the character being formed on the screen
Can Flash be used in conjunction with a Wacom Tablet (or
mouse, for that matter) to do this? If so, how would I do this--I'm
a total newbie with Flash.
If it can't can anyone suggest a program that could do this??
I have the Adobe Master Collection, so I have access to all the

Thanks.Flash can do it, but not quite the way you're approaching it,
I think. I would start with the complete character on the stage and
use a series of animated masks to reveal the strokes in sequence,
to make them 'appear' like they are being drawn.
There are some other ways to go about this as well, but this
would be the simplest by far. -
My neice is trying to use the Build-a-Bear website, which requires Flash to login and run its services. However, the plug in is loading correctly, but we cannot enter letters into the login box, just numbers.
It's not a firefox problem with entering text as on other websites (such as BBC) text can be entered into plain search boxes.
How can I resolve this?Is there any timescale as to when it's likely to be resolved?

I've about had it! Can anyone please tell me where they hid the "real" Flash Player this time?
Sorry folks - don't mean to take my frustrations out on the innocent but I am sick of always having to run in circles trying to get what my creative cloud membership pays for. I finally got a new laptop and I'm stoked because it's the first one I've owned that will be able to run Adobe stuff without batting an eye (okay within reason - it's still a laptop! lol!). Anyways, the problem is Windows and some other programs along with Adobe. I've had to reinstall everything like four times now. But if I can get Windows to behave and stay stable - I can work on some delayed projects.
So I got to reinstall CC and after 4 times this searching and hunting for apps is really getting on my nerves. First, why can't Adobe put the real Flash Player in with the regular download on the CC login? I know we got the plug in with IE but I can't use it with Acrobat Pro. I'm embedding vids and stuff in PDF's and the only thing that's worked so far is that actual player. Flash Builder along with Flash Professional don't help either. About a week ago, I tracked the real "Flash Player" down but this time - I can't find it to save my life. Every time I get to click on the DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION OF FLASH PLAYER link - it sends me back to a CC login page or back to the IE instructions. I've only logged into my account ...uh...about 25 times now if I counted all the open tabs right.
Okay so I get tired of searching all over for the Flash Player I need and decide to jump over to Adobe Story. I've got some other aps downloading and those will probably finish in about six to eight hours. But Story Plus isn't a download and it's included in the CC membership to. Now that program I liked. I had a bunch of projects saved and it has taken me a bit to get back over there to check it out but guess what.
I log in and it says I'm on the free version and my projects are gone. The more I search, the more Adobe insists I get the Story CC Plus with my membership - but that's not what I've got on my screen when I log in. *sigh*
I checked my membership status just in case - yes, I'm coming up for my renewal next month but there's no problems with my status and my bill shows current. So now I'm getting really frustrated. I see a nice little link that says get Premium support with your CC membership. Oh yeah? Click! They lied again. No matter how hard I look, the links only send me in circles (I"m bookmarking this page otherwise it will vanish into the nether too! )
So now I get to go pull my backups for my script that is no longer on Story Plus. Wonderful. I'm not going to go look at membership again. I'm really close to cancelling as it is - so I'm gonna go chill out and wait for stuff to download.Flash Player is free, and you might ask for help in Flash Player

First Issue: All of my purchased apps (games) and apps such as Weight Watchers, Facebook, WeatherBug, Sports and Pinterest, Notes, Nook, etc. are all locked up. They simply flash, then nothing! How do I get rid of the photos and prevent this from happening again?If none of your third-party apps are working, but the Apple built-in ones are ok, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted. In terms of re-downloading apps then you can do so as long as they are still available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy them, then you should be able to re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
For synced photos, then with the iPad connected to and selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, then on the Photos tab on the right-hand side you can control which photos are synced to the iPad : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236 . If you don't want any photos to be synced then try selecting just an empty folder. -
When insert my lexar USB flash drive I get the message that the disk was not readable by this computer. It has worked previous to this and I do not want to lose the data by reformatting the drive. How can I reformat this drive and not lose my data?
You can't reformat it and not wipe everything on it.
Have you tried a different USB port?
Only other option, back it up on a different computer. -

Is this a flash issue or can I force this game to run in the background somehow.
Does this also happen if you run that game in another window?
You can tear off a tab to a new window by slightly dragging the tab down in the browser area. -
when i take a picture with flash in a dark place , the photo appears with a blue line . how can i default this ? is this normal ???
You probably have a filter set for the normal camera mode but not the square.
To fix, in Photo mode, touch the filter icon (three circles) and select None for the filter. -
Can Captivate do this - or should I use Flash?
I am trying to create a corporate sales presentation, with
similar look/feel to this Flash preso:

I can handle the video/placement fine. But instead of the
navigation buttons, on the bottom, I want to create a Windows-like
navigation pane - similar to Windows Explorer (but with graphics),
where you can click on a '+' by a folder, and it opens up to show
you subsequent folders/topics, which you can then click on to
navigate through the preso.
I also want to create a portion of the screen on the bottom
where scrolling text, vertically appears, allowing users to read
certain product features as the presenter says them. This I can do,
with Flash.
Captivate seems to do all this, HOWEVER, I need the video to
be continuous, and it seems that Captivate has to do it in pieces,
since it works with slides, rather than frames.
I am not proficient with Flash and would prefer Captivate,
but if Captivate can't do this one thing (continuous video), I
can't use it. It is to choppy.

connect to a computer with itunes and restore phone, before you connect the phone to the computer get the phone off and hold the home button while you connect the phone to the computer and you want to keep holding the home button till the phone shows the connect to itunes. ITunes then will say that if found a device in recovery mode.

When I want to navigate a webpage that contains a flash object, the Internet Explorer show the icon that the page contains an error, if I relod the page, the page now doesn't show the error and the Flash objects work well. This occurs recently, some weeks ago, I didn't have that problem. How can I fix this problem?
I'm using Win XP SP3, IE8 and Flash 14.0.0.145
I tried to uninstall the 14 version and installed the 13 version but the problem persists.All new keyboards need Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and above for full functionality.
Rather short-sighted of Apple perhaps, but that seems to be a trend these days.
I'm afraid the only fix is to upgrade to SL. Personaly, I'd take it back and get a refund and seek an older keyboard or a third-party one elsewhere. -
Whenever I go to pages where the Adobe Flash Player "plugin-container.exe" runs "FlashPlayerPlugin_xx_x_xxx_xx.exe" (x's being version number), it causes hundreds of empty "fap" files to save to my Firefox and C:\Windows\Temp folders. How can I prevent this?

I'm using Windows 7 and Firefox 3.6.6 as a browser. I need to dowload some Adobe software like Flash and i can't do it because this version of firefox is a 64 bit app. I need a 32 bit FF app/where on the website can i dowload this?

TimYou already have Shockwave Flash 10.2 r152 installed for Firefox on the PC you used to post here, see your ''More system details...'' next to your posting.
There are no 64-bit builds of Firefox made, only 32-bit currently. There are some 3rd party builds floating around out there, but Mozilla doesn't allow them to be named Firefox - they would be called Namoroka for 3.6 versions. Mozilla does have a Minefield 64-bit build for 4.0-pre versions, but it won't be available as Firefox until probably Firefox 5 is released.
