Is there a way to create a Flex app to limit the number of
prints that can be made from it? I need to limit a coupon that
prints out, and I'm new to Flex. Is this possible to be created? Is
anyone interested in possibly contracting this job? This is a

No. Printing is either permitted or not, but there is no way any document can control the print quantity.

You need to delete your current hotmail account set up on your iphone.
Once this has done click 'Add Account' and select the new 'outlook.com' tab.
Set up your hotmail account again from scratch and this will then allow you to select how many weeks/months of emails you sync to your phone.
Im not sure if anyone else had a similar problem to me prior to iOS 7, but if i deleted an email from my hotmail account on my iphone - it wouldnt sync with my actual hotmail account. So when i logged in online all the emails I had deleted on my phone would still be showing as unread.
But by setting the account up as above, they now sync perfectly.

You can't.
All photos transferred from your computer are stored in the Photo Library. The photos in the album or albums below are not duplicates - they include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library. This way you can view the photos in a particular album only by selecting the album, or you can view all photos available in all albums by selecting Photo Library.
Just as with an iTunes playlist. A song cannot be in an iTunes playlist unless the song is in the main iTunes library. Placing a song in a playlist does not duplicate the song. Remove the main iTunes library or the songs from the main iTunes library that are in a playlist and the songs will no longer be in the playlist either. How do you limit the number of emails that download in iOS7? In previous versions, I was able to limit (i.e. 50/100/ etc), the number that would download to my phone at any given time - other than new emails. Past/old emails would only be reloaded if I deleted newer ones or I requested more be loaded.

I run a small publishing company and we want to provide exam copies of our books to professors. At present our exam copies have the words EXAM COPY as a water mark on every page and we've also made the files so that they can't be printed or easily copied. However, we'd like to also restrict these PDFs so that they can only be opened 5 times. I've read about FileOpen but that approach seems a bit more complex than needed. Is there any other way to restrict the number of times that a PDF file can be opened once it is downloaded? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

DRM soltions like FileOpen are your best bet for PDFs. Others include Adobe's LiveCycle Rights Managment, LockLizard, Armjisoft PDF Security OwnerGuard, etc.
They all work and are priced differently, but there's really nothing for what you want to do that is both simpler and secure.

Hi, I'm going from iOS 6.1 to my new 5s iOS 7 and I wanted to know if there was a way to limit the number of emails shown for each of my accounts? In iOS 6 there is a setting "show" where you can choose how many you would like to be loaded at a time from 50-1,000 , is there a setting similar to this and I am just not seeing it? Please help me asap. I have only logged in 3 of my 12 email accounts and already have over 13k emails loaded...

You can't limit it to the last 50 messages, but you can limit it to the last 1000 messages in each "folder" (label).
Go to the Gmail website and click on the gear icon to the top-right side.
Click on Settings.
Click on the "Forwarding and IMAP/POP" tab across the top of the Settings area.
Towards the bottom of the IMAP section, change the "Folder Size Limit" setting to "Limit IMAP folders to contain no more than this many messages". By default 1000 is selected, though you can also choose 2000, 5000, or 10000.
Click Save Changes at the bottom.

Hi I'm trying to find a resolution for an issue on our network.
We run several kiosk machines that allow customers to print out documents and web pages. However we are finding that we waste a lot of ink due to user's frequently sending the same print task to the printers.
Just yesterday we had someone print out over 70 pages because they just keep clicking print.
I've tried looking for an add-on that would address this but was not able to find one.
My question is this, Is there an internal setting that can be changed in firefox to limit the number of print attempts to say once every 30 seconds, or even a way to make a dialogue box come on screen saying that the print request is currently processing and not allow more printing until the current task is completed.

Sorry, there is no setting within Firefox to prevent that from happening. Once the user sees the "native print dialog" box (what is seen when you do Ctrl + P to initiate printing), the operating system and the printer drivers take it from there.
I have seen something similar to that on kiosk / rental PC's in FedEx Office stores, that notify the user of the cost per page the user wants to send to a printer, and if the user should happen to click again to print the same pages again it asked if you want to spend another $x.xx to print a second copy. Wouldn't be too much different to just shut off the printing of multiple copies of the same document and notify the user of that action.
My advice is to discuss that with whoever set up those kiosks to being with.

Is there a way to limit the number of copies that can be printed of a pdf from inside the form in LiveCycle? I would like clients to only be able to print only two copies of a form with Adobe Reader. How can I do this?

This should be doable, but not very pretty...
First, put a text-field on the form, and make it hidden with a defaullt value of 0;
in pre-print, check if the value of the hidden field is >= the limit, if so set
xfa.event.cancelAction = 1
that will prevent the print dialog from even showing.
if the value of the hidden field is < the limit, add one to the value of the field.
That should do it. If you need a hand with the actual code, just let me know.

(limitations: if the user doesn't save the changes, the hidden field will remain at 0... as such, you may have to script the docClose event to trigger a save. The issue with this is that the user will be stuck with any changes made, regardless of whether they want to keep changes.. Like I said, it's not pretty. You could go one step further and save the state of all fields on open/save, then restore those values on close, except for the hidden field before triggering a save... As you can see, this can get complicated fast....)

Because of legal requirements of a long-term project, I cannot permanently delete emails relating to that project from my ISP's mail server. My gmail account contains over 17,000 emails and, upon setting up my new iPad, and updating to ios 7.1.1, I now have all 17,000+ emails taking up space. I would like to limit the emails by count as I was able to do on my old iPad running ios 5.1.1 OR to retain them based on date range. I have not found any instructions on the support discussions or general iPad blogs that allow me to do that. Any way around this problem?
I also miss the 5.1.1 mail search feature that allowed me to narrow the search by from/to/subject/all. Does anyone know if that feature is available using some little-known ios 7.1.1 feature?

I don't think it matters what you use as your email client. This is a feature that existed before and was missed in the upgrade to IOS 7. I read on another post that if you contact Apple support they just tell you to report it in Apple feedback. I just submitted feedback at http://www.apple.com/feedback/ I couldn't find an IOS section to post it to, so I just posted it in the iPhone section. Maybe if enough people do this, Apple will fix it.

Can we limit the number of WBSe on a structure?

Is there anyway to limit the number of WBSe that can be created on a structure? I had an issue where a project contains over 16,000 WBSe which takes more time for execution and sometimes gives time-out error.
SAP note 206264 gives guideline that maximum WBSe per project is 10000. But we can still add more in the structure as there is no restriction.
Just curious about options to limit exceeding 10,000 WBSe on a structure.
can we set any validation rule for this.

My coding mask looks like:

I have set the checkbox EDIT so that only coded project numbers may be used. But still I don't get how we can restrict the number of wbs created.

Limit the number of record to download to excel from a report

I am just wondering if there is a way to limit the number of rows that I want to download to excel from a report in apex, right now when I click download to excel it downloads all records. If I am displaying 15 records on report page I want the ability to download only those records.
Any help with that would be appreciated.

The same report query runs for downloading the data into excel, I don't think you can limit the number of records in download.
You can achieve it using custom code, like on click of download excel redirect to another page and then restrict the data as per your need, or you can use the custom procedure to download the limited data.
