Can FMLE run on a 64 bit Windows 7 machine?

I run it now on my Windows 7 32 bit machine but was getting ready to buy a new computer and wanted to get a 64 bit Windows 7 machine. Will FMLE run on a 64 bit Windows OS?

Yes, we currently run it on a Dell Precision Rackmounted 64 Bit system and capabilities are fine.

  • Got exception when running CrystalReportViewer on 64 bit Windows 2008

We have a client/server app built with c#, .NET2, CR2008 .net runtime SP2, and VS2008. The smart client hosts a CrystalReportViewer, which consumes the ServerFileReportService.
The client on XP, 2003, Vista, and 32 bit Windows 2008 works fine with 32 bit Windows 2008/2003 server. But the client on 64 bit Windows 2008 throws the following exception,

    Hi Jonathan,
Currently the .NET solution contains over 70 assemblies, and only one assembly has reference to CR2008 .Net runtime SP2.  All the 70 projects for each assemblies are compiled with Platform Target set to Any CPU.  We build an installer with InstallShield, which deploys the runtime by CRRuntime_12_2_mlb.msi.
If we resolve all the parameters, and donu2019t prompt user for the parameters, then the same report runs fine on 64-bit Window 2008. Otherwise we always get the error on prompting parameters.
We resolved the issue by recompiling the exe with Platform Target set to (x86). And all the 70 assemblies are still compiled with Any CPU.
    Regards,
    Frank

  • Installables for 32 bit windows machines

    Hello,
It seems SAP has stopped providing installables for 32 bit windows machines. IS it correct?
If yes which SAP versions can be installed on - Windows server 2003 SP2 (32 bit).
Can we have ECC6 EHP4 based on SQL database on it?
    Thanks,
    Ambarish

    Hi,
If you read the installation guide then following thing is mentioned there:
As of SAP ERP 6.0 SR3, you must install an SAP ERP system only on 64-bit operating
    systems.
For the dialog instance, you can still use a 32-bit operating system. Therefore, you
only see the folder Software Life-Cycle Options on the Welcome screen when you start the
installation from a 32-bit installation master DVD.
You might need to install dialog instances on 32-bit operating systems if you want to
use 32-bit SAP NetWeaver components, such as Adobe document services. However,
first check whether such 32-bit components can run on 64-bit operating systems. If
so, we recommend running these 32-bit components on a 64-bit operating system.
    Thanks
    Sunny

  • Using Acrobat 8.2.5 on a 64-bit Windows machine

I own Adobe Acrobat 8.2.5 Standard that I have used on my old computer.  However, it will not load into my new 64-bit computer.  Is there a way to make this work short of purchasing a new program?

    Hi alliembaker,
Copying information from this doc Support policy | Acrobat 8 | Windows
Adobe has tested Adobe Acrobat 8.x (Standard and Professional) on Microsoft Windows 64-bit operating systems running on a 64-bit processor machine. This document describes the known limitations and support options available to users of Adobe Acrobat 8.0 in a Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 64-bit environment.
Support policy for Adobe Acrobat in Microsoft Windows Vista x64, Windows XP x64 and Windows Server 2003 x64
Adobe Acrobat 8.0 was not developed for the Windows XP x64 or Windows 2003 Server x64 operating systems running on a 64-bit processor machine. Adobe Acrobat 8.0 was developed for Windows 2000 SP4, XP Professional, Home Edition, or Tablet PC Edition.
If you use Adobe Acrobat 8.0 in Windows Vista x64, Windows XP x64 or Windows Server 2003 x64, please update to Acrobat 8.1. The Acrobat 8.1 update provides support for x64 based operating systems.
The Acrobat update is available on the Adobe website at www.adobe.com/support/downloads/.

  • Can I move adobe cs4 from my windows machine to my new mac mini?

can I move adobe cs4 from my windows machine to my new mac mini?

Short answer is now.  Any app that was developed on
for Windows will not run on OSX and visa versa.
However, You can create a Windows environment on
a Mac by 2 methods.  The first, create a dual boot
machine using Bootcamp and install Windows on a
seperate partion and then select which operating system
to boot into.  The second is using virtual machine products
such as VMware  Fusion  or Parallels Desktop Mac.  You
basically create a virtual Windows environment that
runs along side and concurrent with OSX.
Not sure how well this second approach will work with
any CS4 app, as they tend to be quite resource intensive.

  • Can Windows 32 bit photoshop run on a 64 bit windows 7?

I have had Photoshop since 1996. V4.0, and then the pricey upgrades 5.0, 6.01. The proggy is fine for the work that I do. However my 32 bit computer has finally reached the end of it's life. Im hoping that I can somehow run this program. Please advise.  Thanks!

Could be that it works using compatibility modes for Win XP - assuming the installer even works or you can get it to work by copying over your files and manually adding the registration info.

  • Does anyone know of anyway to run adobe on 64 Bit Windows???

I just got a new computer in and when I went to install adobe (illustrator and indesign), it didn't work. So I called customer service. They told me that nor cs3 or cs4 products run on 64 Bit and if they do it will not be properly... Does anyone have a solution other than changing to 32 Bit Windows? • Can I run Lion in 32 bit mode?

    My question is the title.
I have searched on internet & it tells me to hold down '3' & '2' keys at lauch. But this doesn't work. So is there a way to boot in 32 bit mode or not?
    Thanks.

The reason I want to run in 32 bit mode is so that I can run antivirus scans. I know people will say there are no viruses that attack Mac, but there was a new virus in the press that attacks Mac which is called Flashback.c. I just want to be safe than sorry.
If I can't run in 32 bit mode, then can anyone suggest a free 64 bit AV?
Highlight the application icon and select File > GetInfo
There should be a checkbox that allows you to configure the app to run in 32-bit mode while everything else will continue to run in 64-bit mode..

  • Will WinHelp run on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine?

We have a client who cannot run our WinHelp products on a 64-bit Windows 7 system.  The Microsoft Knowledgebase article provides the WinHlp32 engine download but there no mention of whether this same engine will work on a 64-bit W7 system.
Does anyone have any experience of this?
As a footnote, we have another client who successfully runs the winhelp engine on a 64-bit XP system

    Hi there
I just tested a WinHelp file and it popped right open on my Windows 7 64 bit PC. Now it may have been an older 16 bit WinHelp file, but it worked. I think a 32 bit WinHelp file would be treated the same way Vista treated them. It would prompt for a download of the 32 bit WinHelp engine.
    Cheers... Rick
