Can get list of OSS notes, but when click on them, cannot view them.

Wasn't sure where to post this and this looked like the most general place, so hopefully this works...
I have a SAP Service Marketplace id and need to view SAP notes. I can get to the note "Search" screen, but when I enter the note id and hit enter, I get an empty msExplorer popUp window. I also tried searching by application and received several pages of notes, but when I click on any one of them the same thing happens.
I had a colleague try this and he is able to view the note. Only difference is that he gets a second login popup window, but after filling it in he can view the note.
Possibly this is a permissions issue? If so, any idea whom to contact?
Any suggestions as to what I need to do to view notes would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar problem - was caused by the SAP cerificate (SAP Passport CA) installed on my PC which had reached its 12 month limit and expired.
Would get first popup for search screen for notes where I could enter my ID and password, but no second pop-up to open individual notes
When I went and downloaded a new certificate, it all started working OK

Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

my son has disabled his ipod touch and has forgotton the pass code, i have followed all the websites and got it into dfu mode but when itunes is restoring it back to its factory settings it is telling me that there are about 35 hours to go and then an error message comes up saying a problem with uploading and that my network isnt working (which is wrong) and to try again......donr this about 10 times now and everytime get the same error message......any help would be much appreciated

Ask him if he has 'jailbroken' the ipod touch. Some jailbreaking firmware resets it to Ipad firmware and so it is very difficult to restore as itunes simply doesnt recognise it for what it is. It's Apple's solution to try and stop mass jailbreaking.

I can get to website home pages but when I try to get to a logon screen, I get error msg "URL is not valid cannot open"

I cannot access certain pages such as facebook, yahoo, my bank. I sometimes get as far as their home page, but when required to say, go to mail... I get the url msg described above. Same thing when I try to login to online banking. Facebook I cannot login whatsoever. These are just 3 different sites I've tried so far.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

How do I reset the password that allows me to download reader.. I worked with chat help two hours last night - we have reset a password that lets me into my adobe account but in the download reader process that password will not work - where it says Adobe reader wants to change something and please type in password, just vibrates with the dots glowing purple but will not open…. what do I do to reset that password or get it to function. they would not assist me further they said its a free download and I would need to seek help from forums ( all this is new to me )
so "forums" help…what do I do ?

I have been able with your lead to find the password I need , and to have install happen
however - when I then go to the website to download the Pdf document I need I get a screen with the big red adobe icon that says to complete and down load this document I must launch adobe reader a dn sign the terms of agreement , close browser and reopen.
but thatscren has no choice buttons whatsoever, I cannot find anywhere a adobe reader image to launch - been into launch pad , preferences etc.
so now the loop is the pdf document and the adobe screen saying I must do terms of agreement
like is this Kafka like or what ...

Ipad Can get in the app store but when I go to my app updates it cannot connect to iTunes store

Just a few days ago after updating my iTunes. I went onto my iPad app store to check for updates. There where no updates available also, saying cannot connect to iTunes store. I have gone to apple support and cannot find a way to fix this problem. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.

Installed Photoshop Elements 10 Program will not start when click on Icon cannot find exe file

I had a trial version which uninstalled I have purchase copy of Photoshop Elements 10 and installed on my computer which is running windows 7 the set up stated it had finished the setup. When you click on the Icon a message comes up saying it cannot find Photoshop Elements 10.0 exe

Go To the below locations and run the exe files manually and check if you ae able to launch the applications.
C:\\Prog Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10 and run PhotoshopElementseditor.exe
C:\\Prog Files\Adobe\Elements10 Organizer/PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe
In case you are still not able to find the exe files on the above locations, re-install PSE 10 again as it might not have been installed.

The dropdown list in the address bar does not work when clicked

In the address bar the dropdown list icon does not work when clicked. I have tried resetting everything in safemode and it still doesn't work. When I click on the icon it just highlights the entire address line.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Problem with iTunes. I have Windows 8 on a new laptop. Installed latest version of iTunes. Can play music in My Library but when I click on Itunes Store I get the message "iTunes has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.

I have a new laptop with Windows 8 as operating system. Installed latest version of iTunes ontop computer. Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

None of my "paid" books will open in iBooks. They show they are there, but when I open them all I get is a blank page. I have checked all the newbie mistakes. Mavericks will not let me uninstall and reinstall iBooks.

All the books I paid money for will not open in iBooks on my MAC. Mavericks will not let me uninstall iBooks, so I cannot uninstall and reinstall it on my Pro. I have deleted and re-loaded the books and they show in my library (as they always did), but when I open them, all I get is a blank page with three dots at the bottom, flashing in sequence. This does not affect the free books from the book store nor does it affect the PDF I have loaded myself. (I had this problem on my iPad when the latest big software came out about a year or two ago, but I was able to re-initalize the complete iPad from my Pro Book.) I have tried just about everything I can think of, but all to no avail. To save time, I have reset my iTunes password and performed all the other "Apple Tips" in the support section, but after 5 hours I am giving up. Surely someone else must be having the same issue??

Yup, same issue since installing Mavericks. iBooks works fine on my wife's Macbook Pro, but on my Mac Pro none of my purchased (protected) books will open - only the free/unprotected ones.
I'm asked for my AppleID password, but nothing happens when I try to open a purchased and downloaded book. I deauthorized, reauthorized, etc ... nothing. Each purchased book that I double-click gives me a dialog asking for my Apple ID password. Nothing else.
I was already buying more books via Kindle than iTunes and this just seals the deal for me. At least I can read my already-purchased iBooks books on my iPad still...

Anyways, there's still nothing in this thread that actually explicitly says "there is a file called VolcanoApp.java in the directory where I'm running javac from" and I really can't be bothered banging my head against the wall any longer. You've made a silly mistake, or a false assumption. We all do it from time to time. My advice is, take a break, go for a walk and re-visit this in a while. You'll probably spot the mistake right away.

Please HELP! Song appears in playlists and song lists, but when clicked, it goes to a random song. Nano only, not itunes. I have the nano thats almost like a square with the click wheel.

ONLY SOME songs appear in song list, but when clicked, play a random song instead of the one i chose. You can play the song on iTunes, just not the ipod nano. (the one that has a clickwheel and looks almost like a square)

You can only add music to iTunes Match from your iTunes library on your computer, not from your iOS device. If you have music on your iPad that is not on your computer, you'll have to import it to your iTunes library on your computer to add it to iTunes Match.
Music purchased from the iTunes store can be imported directly to your iTunes library by authorizing your computer for the Apple ID(s) used to purchase the music (in Store>Authorize This Computer), then connecting the iPad to your computer, opening iTunes and going to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. Music from other sources will require using 3rd party software to transfer to your computer, such as Touch Copy.

The only way you will be able to track that iPod is if it is turned on and connected to a wifi network by the person that has it.
