Can HP replace my VGA chipset for free?
I have this HP laptop product then it has a worst VGA chip ever. everytime it'll go down/broken I always go to a laptop shop to reheat/repair my HP VGA chip just to back to its power. then after a few days again it'll go back to NO POWER MODE again because I need to reheat/repair my HP VGA chip again and again... I hope HP will do some action for this. the warranty they give is not enough for what customers needed. then my laptop is still good and cool but the problem is my VGA CHIP T_T poor experience

i had my ipod 4th gen ios 5.1.1 for a few months about 5 months and i found the touch screen cracked. i still have around 7 months warranty left... don't want to spend much money for the replacement... just wondering if the glass/ipod replacement are free at the apple stores
They can but they won't.
Apple doesn't repair it. They replace it with a refurbished unit. The fixed-price for non-warranty replacements can be found here. -
Will Apple replace my Logic Board for free?
Sounds crazy I know. But I read a bunch of different threads on many sites saying they replace it for free and some say they don't. Let me explain why I believe I shouldn't pay to get this repaired. Since I bought my MBP I've had problems from it. When I got it I kept getting the message saying...you need to restart your computer...otherwise known as a Kernal Panic. I took it to apple , they couldn't find the problem so they replaced the hard drive for free. This didn't fix the problem but I did not feel like having to continue to take my computer to apple because I do all of my work on my computer so I really didn't the time and I just worked around it. Just recently my computer has began to shut off randomly while using certain programs such as Chrome and Apple Motion. After putting a thread on here I've learned that this is a kernel panic once again but being caused by the logic board. Now I don't know if I received a faulty computer but day one I've been having these problems. Which is the reason I'm asking will Apple repair what wasn't caused by the user?
I need to add that I love Apple and their products, I've had and have many computers and other devices from them that function flawlessly. This MacBook Pro is the only thing I'm having a problem with.

Frankly just about any headset with the proper size connection will likely work. We like ear buds with soft coverings so even when we get a hard headset with a player we swap them out. While Apple might just possibly give you a set for free since they are not an expensive item, loss is not covered by warranty. If you're a long drive from an Apple Store it might cost you more in fuel and vehicle wear and tear than going to a local store and buying a comfortable replacement.

Perhaps, but maybe not, as what can they do with one with the UK plugs? I'm just saying regional things like that often have to be returned at a store in the country you bought them.
But, just go and ask as the worse they can say is no. If they do say no they cannot exchange it, then for very little money you can buy a UK-to-India plug adapter and use that charger in India anyway. Such plug adapters are only $2-$5 here in the USA on Amazon. -
can apple fix my ipad2 twice for free this is the second time my ipad2 screen broke, now dont calle me careless my 3 yr old brother begs and cries and it's frustrating, all he wants is thomas and friends so i end up getting forced to give it to him, i didnt know my brother was still playing with the ipad , and i was watching tv, so my dad comes up it was lying in the floor next to my bro, u couldnt believe how i cried that time because second time...... my mom was very very dissapointed , and so am i , so will apple be able to fix my 1pad 2 wifi only16 gb for free again, i barely have enough money to repair, because my mom brought another one. im really sad bc it took alot of sacrifice from my parents to buy me this ipad, i dont think i deserved that : ( plz help , or give me any other options.
If you mean your iPad got stepped on and the screen physically broke, I think it extremely unlikely that Apple will replace it again for free. They weren't obligated to do so the first time, as apparently they did, and almost certainly not going to do so twice.
Sorry, but I think you'll just have to live without your iPad until such time as you can save up enough money to pay for repairs. There are independent iPad repair services that may be able to replace the screen for less than Apple's replacement charge, though I can't say with certainty. Do a web search for "ipad repair".

I just bought a new late 2013 iMac. Can I get the new iWork for free? I updated it to Mavericks also. The Mac App store is showing $19.99 for each iWork component (Pages, Numbers, Keynote). I also bought the previous iWork version, if that matters. Free updates for iPhoto and iMovie seemed to show up with no problems. Maybe these are just glitches that will clear up in a couple of days?
Hi. If you want it to get updated, this should take care of it.
1. Uninstall iWork from your Mac.
2. Do a fresh install of iWork from DVD.
3. Install iWork update from Apple Downloads (direct link here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1563)
4. Sign into the Mac App Store, and check for updates. It should now show up as a free update. You may have to give it a few minutes (i.e. 10-15 minutes).
I've been a Windows user for years, so I know all of the tricks by now. I had hoped I would not need this knowledge for a Mac, but oh well...

Theoretically you can use the itunes version to qualify for adobe's upgrade discount, but that's it. All download versions are single platform. And in many countries the street price of the full version of PSE is less than adobe's upgrade price, so it's usually not worth pursuing that. However, if you wish to, I'm told you use your apple ID as your serial number when asked. I don't know anyone who's done this, so I don't know how well it really works.
