Can i acces my apps and music on a pc by i cloud or some other program?
i have a macbook pro buti was wondering if for example on my freinds pc i could acces my apps? i tought maybe with i could? does i cloud only work with Apple products?

You need to set up a separate iCloud account for each person that does not want to share their iCloud data. If you share an iCloud account with someone, any data you both sync with the shared account is merged, and you end up with each other's data on your device(s). Yes, I was referring to the iTunes ID not needing to be the same as the ID used for iCloud. In order to set up an Apple ID your children will need to have a valid email address that can be verified by Apple. Apple requires this so they have a way of contacting the owner if there is a problem with the account, such as when you may need to reset the password on the account. When you set up the ID, Apple will send a verification email to this email account and you will need to click on the verificating link in the email to complete the process. If they don't currently have an email account you can just set one up with gmail or another free email hosting service. They don't have to use the account but you will need it to set up the ID. -

How do I restore all apps and music that have been purchased back on to an IPOD touch? The IPOD was locked and we had to reset it and now we have lost all of the apps and music that we had purchased from April 6, 2010 to now.
What has happened is the IPOD Touch account was originally set up on a laptop. That laptop crashed and we had to then set up the account in question on a Desktop. The IPOD was never synced. The IPOD was diabled because my daughter typed in the wrong password numerous times. So my 15 year old reset the IPOD and it wiped out all of the apps and music. Now I do not know how to restore everything.

If your "other" section is bigger than 1GB, there have been problems during the sync process and some data got damaged. Only a restore can reduce the size back to normal again. -

Unfortunately you will not be able to transfer them or essentially merge the account. The purchases are locked to that specific account. Best thing to do is just remain with one account because things can get confusing. Good luck!

Music is never sync'd back across, its always done manually. Apps should automatically sync back across after you restore from backup.

Try to restart your phone by holding the sleep/wake and home buttons until the phone turns off ignoring the slide to power off message. Then press the sleep/wake button to turn it back on.

Lost my apps and music after updating to the new OS
I lost my apps and music on my 3GS after updating to the new 5.0.1 OS. I can see all my apps and music on my laptop iTunes, but can't get the phone to sync. Any ideas??

i want to update my phone, but i purchased many apps and music on the phone. it won't let me authorize my computer so i cannot update. i don't want to deauthorize all my computers. how can i find out which 5 computers i have authorized? also how can i update the software?
This is a tedious solution, which is stupid! And some users report an inability to reauthorize a computer after an "en masse” deauthorization. I can’t believe Apple doesn’t provide a list or menu to find out which computers you’ve authorized! Obviously, APPLE knows (or else they couldn’t tell us how many computers we have authorized)--so why can’t they give us access to that information about our own computers??!!!
And for an already-authorized computer with a hard drive that’s since been replaced and upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite, would it be recognized as a “new computer” and require authorization? Would its previous incarnation (i.e., with the old hard drive and OS) be considered a separate computer? Some users report they can’t authorize a computer after an OS upgrade because of that. Can’t believe we have to do such a bass-ackwards kludge! -
Has anyone else had trouble with update 6.1.2 for I phone? After the update, I can't get back on my network (password is correct), ICLOUD doesn't transfer my downloads, nothing seems to work. It saved my calandar and address book, but lost all of my apps and music (except for a few songs, figure that out) and I can't get them back. Any suggestions?
I had this problem post 6.1. Not sure if it was a coincidence, but I'd just recently changed my password after being convinced I'd been hacked, due to being told I was entering my password wrongly, repeatedly by iCloud / iTunes. It turns out my iCloud account on my Settings -> Mail, Contacts and Calendars was listed as Inactive. Putting in my details, turning off Contacts over iCloud (thus deleting them) and turning them back on again, repopulated my contacts from iCloud with numbers attached to them.

I loaded Win 7 on my laptop and hadn't loaded I tunes yet when I updated my phone to IOS 6. It needed to sync and had to factory reset. I have loaded I tunes, logged on yet still can't get my apps or music to load on my phone again? I have added the I tunes back-up to the folder on my newly loaded PC? Any suggestions before I go to the apple store and use the F word.
The same thing happened to my poor sister, and she is panicking because of all of her photos of her "daughter growing up" that will be lost. It seems that this has happened to several people already, and I REALLY hope that Apple figures this out so that it doesn't force all of these people to completely reset their devices. I have a few devices on one apple id and would like to switch out one of my phones so they have there own apple id do I have to restore the phone as new or can i somehow switch it without losing all apps and music in iTunes?
