Can I access iCloud on a computer that is not mine?

Is it possible to access all of my icloud stuff off a computer that is not mine?

You can access it at http://icloud.com . You wouldn't want to sign into it in System Preferences (on a compliant Mac) as then they would be getting your emails and other data.

You do see the devices heading on the left sidebar? If you don't see the sidebar, go to View>Show sidebar in the iTunes menu and then check to see if the device appears.
If that isn't the problem, go through the troubleshooting steps. It could be the Apple Mobile Device Service issue.

    Hello Decu90,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
From your post I understand that you need to sync your iPod nano with a new computer.  To learn how to sync songs to your iPod, please take a look at the article below.

  • Updating to 2.0 from a computer that is not mine?

Alright, everyone. I have a small problem. I am on a trip, and the only computer that I have access to belongs to a friend of mine. Now, I can download the update through iTunes, but I cannot figure out how to backup my iPod for the big erase. I am on a Windows PC. Can anyone think of a good FREE backup option for my iPod that I can use to prevent the loss of songs and videos for the update?

Well, I decided to go ahead and update without the backup, and I will put my media back on later. The update is doable, though.

  • How can I export music to an Iphone that is not mine?

    Hello,
Well the problem is that I don't have an Iphone but a friend of mine wants to get music from my Itunes library but I don't know how to do that
Apears a screen to sync the Iphone with iTunes, but I don't want. It's not mine... also how to convert to the format ??
Thank you ! If theres a  link or video tutorial that'd be fine

Yeah, once it is in your iTunes library you can only upload it to an iDevice that is registered to the same Apple ID.  Or you can share it to other iTunes in your house using Home Sharing.

  • Can I sign in to my iTunes account and library on a computer that is not mine?

I want to know if I can sign in to my iTunes on a different computer than I usually use.  I want to be able to access my library on someone else's computer, but I don't know if that is possible.  I definitely don't want my library to get mixed with someone else's either.  And if it is possible, can two people sync to the same computer without getting their libraries mixed just by signing in to their seperate accounts?
    Thanks for any help!

You can access your iTunes Store account from any computer with iTunes installed, but you cannot access the iTunes library - the tracks and other content you've already downloaded - from another computer unless both computers are on the same local network in which case you can use Home Sharing. Home Sharing will not normally work from outside of your home, though. There are third-party utilities for Mac that can allow this, but whether any exist for Windows I don't know.
    Regards.

  • How do I plug my iphone into a computer that is not mine but not have their information be synced onto my phone?

I do not have a computer.  I use my itunes account on my sister's mac.  I backed up my old iphone on her computer.  How do i transfer only my information to my phone when i plug it into her computer accessing my itunes account on her computer?

First time you connect the new iPhone to the Mac iTunes will ask you if you wis to restore data from a backup and if you did it correctly iTunes should suggest you a choice of the 2 iPhones already backedup in that Mac.
Of course you need to have done it keeping the names of the devices different.

  • How do I activate an iPhone if it has an old iCloud account set up that is not mine?

I bought an iPhone 4 from a friend that bought it from someone else and it has an iCloud account from the first owner that me and him do not know, how do I fix this?

Why would you buy an iphone if it needs a new motherboard, which by the way has nothing to do with the icloud activation lock.
Return the phone to your friend and get your money back.
I would re evaluate this friend of yours.

  • HT1766 An Apple consultant said I could get rid of itune playlist from my ipad by connecting the cable from my ipad to a computer that does not have songs from itunes in its computer. I was not able to do it. Any suggestions?

How do you get rid of itunes playlist from my ipad? I was told you can sync it back to a computer that does not have any itunes songs. It did not work.

I'm sure I don't completely understand the question.
How to get rid of an iTunes playlist from your iPad? Just delete the items while using iTunes. The next time you sync, they'll be gone from your playlist.

Upgrading to Snow Leopard, Lion, or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
You can purchase Snow Leopard by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will receive physical media - DVD - by mail.
Third-party sources for Snow Leopard are:
    Snow Leopard from Amazon.com
    Snow Leopard from eBay
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
Be sure your computer meets the minimum requirements:
Apple - OS X Mountain Lion - Read the technical specifications.
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
      1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)

    Are my applications compatible?

  • I changed my apple id now can't access iCloud

I got hacked, the support center gave me new I'd with new email. Now I can't access iCloud because it is stuck on old Id, help please I don't want to lose everything from pictures to downloaded apps. How do I access iCloud with new email and Id? How do I change iCloud Id and keep everything?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

  • How can I access Icloud to see what's in it?

How can I access Icloud to see what's in it?

You can see some of it on icloud.com from your computer.  You can see all of your iCloud data on your iPhone from within the apps that you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, reminders, notes, etc.).

Help! Can't access iCloud (pics apps) even with correct password. Won't download my stored info on my new phone

That happens because photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days, even though your last 1000 photo stream photos remain on your devices until deleted.  When you enabled photo stream on your iPod 4, you only received photo stream photos from the last 30 days as older photos are no longer in iCloud.  If you want to stream these older photos to your new iPod, you will have to create a shared photo stream on your old one that contains these photos (requires iOS 6 or higher) and invite yourself as a subscriber, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99.
