i followed your link on how to delete content from all things Apple, and nothing removes books, movies, music... it just gives said device(s) the iCloud/download icon on top of the book, movie... not sure what the 'hide' purchase actually does - after X'ing/hide, everything STILL appears across all devices using that account. could you clarify this any further?
if i am understanding iTunes correctly, then EVERYTHING we download (free or purchased) will be FOREVER accessible with zero way for us to control what is filling up this mysterious vault called the cloud? (creepy- apple is keeping EVERYTHING, what happens when the cloud gets full?)

There has been quite a few things said and some people are having luck with.
Reset all your settings works, but only once. when you shut down and open back up same problem.
Ive tried changing how my cookies respond, this doesnt work either.
My app store loads in a second, fastest its ever been.

If the Computor you are on has iTunes library go to tunes as if u were going to buy a song or film and you can log into your account. At the bottom of the iTunes home page you should see the user that is logged on usually a email address. Click on it to log them out and enter your own apple I'd and password. You should be able to log into the account via Settings > Store (if an account is currently logged in then you can tap on it to log out of it), and the content that you bought/downloaded with it which is still in the store, and which is possible to re-download (music, films and tv shows can't be re-downloaded in all countries) should show in the Purchased tabs in the App Store and iTunes store apps. Re-downloading an account's past purchases may tie the iPad to that account for 90 days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627
All content from iTunes is tied to the account that originally downloaded it, so creating a new account won't allow you to access a previous account's downloads.

can you confirm a few things?
You downloaded 'Mail Merge' and it is displayed in the Thunderbird 'Addon Manager' and it is enabled.
Open the .csv file and checked that the info you are entering in the Write message eg: {{Email}} , {{First Name}} etc is the same as the column headers.
example:
{{FirstName}} OR {{First Name}}
{{Email}} OR {{Primary Email}}
you can edit the .csv file to change eg: {{Primary Email}} to {{Email}}
you can also move the column headers, so that the first three columns show : First Name, Last Name, Email

I believe you are correct. I had to replace my phone and it was necessary to enter the (3 digit) security code from the credit card the first time I updated some apps on the new phone. Thereafter only the password was requested.
