Can I add a button to my Firefox home page that will connect to my MS Outlook Email Account?

I simply want to be able to go to email from my Firefox pages or receive notice that I have mail to read?
If this is possible please tell me how.

You can create a bookmark and put it in the bookmark toolbar. [[Bookmarks Toolbar - Display your favorite websites at the top of the Firefox window]]

When I start Firefox numerous pages (websites) open with it, so I can easily click back and forth. A good example would be: AOL, Facebook, Singlesnet., but the problem is I missed a page that I would like to open at start-up. Add button on Service Calender home page grid

Hi ,
We tried to add the button on Service calender home page grid but not able to add it. We tried page rule, in that we used the
<PageRule Address="/sm/home_apptbook.aspx" /> but it failed to add button.
We also tried to add button using Mscrm.AptbookTab but still not succeeded.
So any one have solution on this.

Thank you for noting your observations on the new OnDemand button and link to the home page. Several admins have been wondering how to disable this new feature and I've been working with BusObjects Tech Support for a .NET on IIS solution. Your posting looks like what I was provided from TS on an initial effort, however, TS has updated as follows:
For .NET on IIS
In the CCM stop the World Wide Web Publishing Service
<Install Path> below refers to the location Business Objects is installed. By default it is: c:\Program Files\Business Obejcts\BusinessObjects Enterprise11.5\
Go to <Install Path>\Web Content\Enterprise115\Infoview
Open the web.config file in notepad or other text editor.
Search for the following: supportOnDemand
Change true to false
Save and close the file
In the same directory open the home.aspx in notepad or other text editor.
Search for the following: ondemandlink
Go up 2 lines to the <tr> tag. At the beginning of this line type  to the end of the line after the </tr> tag.
Now search for the following: ondemandlabel
Go up 3 lines to the <tr> tag. Place  to the end of the line after the </tr> tag.
Save and close the file.
Start the World Wide Publishing Service in the CCM.
Per advisement from Tech Support, they do plan on publishing this as a Knowledge Base article sometime soon.

I can't add my computer to my Firefox sync.

I can't add my computer to my Firefox sync. When I get on Firefox on my Android device (the device that does have my Firefox sync) I am told to "tap the Set up Firefox Sync button on the Firefox Start page." They even show a screenshot so I know what I'm looking for, however, this button does not exist on my Firefox for Android. I've looked all over the start page for it & tried every other means I can think of to get to the sync but it all boils back to tapping this button that I don't have. I would appreciate any help I can get.

I FOUND A SOLUTION
In android, for whatever reason, the system wont bring you to a correct sync screen so to get there, (you may need to suit this information to your own situation depending on where you are in the account creation/sync stage)
Basically people are having the issue where the "Pair a Device" code wont show up. To fix this, dont set up the account within FireFox.
Go to your home screen.
Settings > Accounts > Add Account
Choose Firefox - as for me, I had to choose the option that said 'Firefox Sync (deprecated) ' which showed up the sync code dialogue which was not coming up before.

Can I add Action button on each page of my pdf document

I have created many power point slides with an action button on each slide that allows the user to click to display a video clip.   I would like to create a pdf document of this and replace each of my action button in ppt with an action button that works in Acrobat.
I noticed that action buttons can be added to forms, but I want to be able to add an Action Button on each of my ppt slides to start playing a video clip (each slide will have a different video).
I would like to do this using any coding method (i.e. Javascript, VBA, C , etc).   I think acrobat uses Javascript.
The reason, is that I want to display my power point slides on an IPad and they don't support hyperlink in power point.   I believe IPad does suppport the full acrobat capabilities.
Can this be done ??
Any suggestions where to start ??

NO problem creating the buttons and then playing this back in Acrobat. Works great.
However, unfortunately, none of the PDF viewers for the iPad support playing movies.   So playing it there won't work :(.

Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).

The quick link button to my email account has disappeared from my Firefox home page. How can I get it back again ?

When I used to click onto the Internet Firefox icon to get onto my home page, the top of the screen gave me a click on-link direct to my hotmail email a/c. For some reason that has disappeared. I can still do it via the Internet Explorer icon, but the settings are different, and the system does not accept text as readily as it did when using the Firefox. Could someone please tell me how to (in words a techno phobe can understand and follow) insert this link back onto the Firefox home page. Many thanks...

Perhaps the button was on your Bookmarks Toolbar. Can you make sure that bar is displayed? You can turn toolbars on and off using any of these methods to display a toolbar list:
* right-click a blank area of the tab bar, or the "+" button on the tab bar
* "3-bar" menu button > Customize > Show/Hide Toolbars
* tap the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar temporarily, then View > Toolbars
Does that help?
Also, you can access your Hotmail account using http://hotmail.com/ and Microsoft will redirect you to the secure login page.

The built-in Firefox home page doesn't have the option to add your mailbox to the existing page. But you can make your mailbox your home page so when you start Firefox or open a new window, that will load automatically.
For example, one way is, while viewing the page you want as your home page, you drag the padlock icon from the left side of the address bar and drop it on the Home button (house icon). This article describes that and other techniques: [[How to set the home page]].

With version 5, on starting get a box "checking compatibility of add-ons" then to Firefox home page not my home page--What's happening?

Just installed version 5. As above I get the box then it goes to Firefox home page not my home page. I've updated and/or disabled every add-on or extension and it made no difference. I am in a university behind a tough firewall. I'd love to go back to version 4 but that isn't available.

Disabled add-ons will still be checked and can still be updated.
I don't know why you are continuously getting the message, you should only get it when there is a version change.
You can try solutions in https://support.mozilla.com/questions/817681 but you had better make a list of what extensions you had disabled first, because all of your extensions will be enabled when you delete/rename those files in your profile. You can use about:support to get a list of your extensions. (renaming is safer than deleting).

RSS feeds don't do that - if they add the feed to an RSS reader (including Safari or FireFox) they will see new updates every time they check: but sending them emails on each added episode would require extra programming in the actual program, which iWeb doesn't provide. You would need to have a mailing list and send out an email manually each time you add an episode.

Apple doesn't make it easy to do what you want. However, here's how I do it.
Select the photo you want to move and create a new Event for it via the Event ➙ Create Event menu option.
In the Event mode select the new Event with the one picture and drag it onto the Event you want to move the photo to.

The email is quite direct. Log on to my verizon at www.verizonwireless.com and on the front page it tells you your due date.
