    This is just a comment on the side; it does not pretend to be an answer to you question. However, there is a dotmac.info site which does indeed allow for comments of your imovie.

  • How can I make a backup of my iWeb page, How can I make a backup of my iWeb page

    How can I make a backup of my iWeb page? Is iWeb also disappearing on June 30?

    Here are some Apple help sheets about backing up your files:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1813
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1105
    And I found this one written by an independant guy very thorough and helpful:
    http://iwebfaq.org/site/iWeb_Backup_retrieve.html
    iWeb is not going away, but I would be skeptical about how much longer Apple keeps it around.
    If you are looking for a new place to host your website, I use and would recommend Little Oak (www.littleoak.net).  They are a Mac hosting company, and are even offering a discount right now for iWeb users (http://www.thewhir.com/web-hosting-news/web-hosting-sales-and-promos-roundup-jun e-29-2012)

  • Can I add two "Comments and Markups" toolbars?

    I often need to mark up drawings in Adobe Acrobat, and I find it difficult to continuously change from green to red, which takes a fair amount of time. Is that a way to speed up the color change? Or possibly could I add two "Comments" toolbars so that one could be green and one could be red?

    Have you thought of Acrobuttons by WindJack? It helps you write small javascripts that you then keep on your toolbar.

  • How do I add a banner on my iweb page

    I have a website published thru iWeb and an FTP server... I'm trying to add a banner for which I do not have a swf file. Here is the banner:
    http://files.slamcom.com/Ricard/Banner-560x120-Boule-NYC.8.html
    How can I add the banner on my site? I tried just copying the source code but it didn't work. Do I have to change the code?

    There are copyright issues when you use someone else's banner. Other than that use iFrame code and the URL you posted. You can find out more about iFrame and HTML snippets at http://web.mac.com/catucker/InsideOutside/iFrame.html.

  • How do I add Bloglines graphic to my iWeb page

    I have created a knitting blog using iWeb and .mac. Most knitters use Bloglines to follow their favorite sites. I have added RSS to the top of my blog but would also like to add Bloglines and its subscribe button.
    I went to Bloglines, created an account, and went through the steps to pick an icon and generate the HTML to add to my web page. I have no clue how I'm suppose to add this code in iWeb.
    I did a search of iWeb's help and it seems there are only 3 choices for adding feeds, RSS, podcast, and photocast. I just want to add Bloglines to this list.
    Am I not understanding what RSS is? I thought it was different than the more specific Bloglines. Traffic to my site will be limited if I can't figure out how to hook into the knitting blogline community.
    Thanks in advance,

    Instead of putting the HTML code that you get from Bloglines into your iWeb HTML files, it will be easier just to import the button graphics into iWeb and then attach the appropriate hyperlinks to the buttons using the iWeb Inspector Hyperlink tab... Here are some general steps...
    1. Go to http://www.bloglines.com and log into your account.
    2. Click on the Feeds tab.
    3. Click on the "Get a Subscribe To Bloglines Button" link
    4. Decide which button you want to use and the Control-click on the button image.
    5. Select "Save Image to Desktop" from the menu that pops up.
    6. Go ahead and enter your iWeb RSS feed URL and then click "Generate HTML"
    7. On the next screen, you'll see some code that looks like this:
    8. Copy the underlined URL from your generated HTML code. This is all you will need.
    9. Now launch iWeb
    10. Drag the button graphic that you saved into your page
    11. Select the button and the open the Inspector Hyperlink tab.
    12. Check the box "Enable as hyperlink"
    13. Next to Link To:, choose "External URL"
    14. In the URL field, enter/paste in the URL from Step 8
    That should be it! You can select the button graphic on the page and copy and paste it to any number of locations on your iWeb pages now. The link and everything should stay intact.
    Let me know if this works out for you. Good luck!

  • How can i add filename on a document in pages 5.1 ?

    I am allways using a template to make documents, that I save under different names. How can I add the (changed) filename in the footer of a saved document ?
    It is important to me to print the filename on document, to find and edit it on my mac later.
    In MS Word it is easy to automaticaly add filenames, path, author and other filedata to the document. I can't find how to do that automatically in Pages templates.
    I saw earlyer answers to this question on this community, but they don't work as I expect, or only on earlier versions of pages.....  I trust there is an easy way to do this.
    Can someone help me please ?

    That function, present in "Pages 09" (i.e. Pages 4.3) , was not included in Pages 5.0-5.1.  (Nor were nearly 100 other such features, from mail merge and bookmarks to non-contiguous text selection, 2-up page viewing and the ability to set alternating left/right margins, headers & footers.Version 5.1 is also notably buggy. One work around, or partial work around, is to click the file name at the top of the window document. You can then select the filename, copy it  and paste it whereever you like. As far as I can see, however, there is no way to include the path: all you get is the filename and extension.

    G'day
    Unfortunately I don't have the API. My Adobe Reader installation updating to version XI failed, and subsequent attempts to fall back on the X version are blocked by the partial install of XI. Damn Adobe stuff.
    Could someone please post the relevant part of the API to give me some pointers, please.

  • HT4059 How can I add audio to my ibook title page?

    How do I add audio to the Title page of an ebook I am creating with ibook author?

    Everytime I add an audio file to the iWeb page a "Drop Image Here" appears with the audio control. Is there a way to eliminate the box for the image?
    If you don't put a picture in the area and publish all you'll get on the published page is the controller as shown here: Embedtests.
    You do know that if a visitor click on the small downward pointing triangle at the right of the control bar you get the option to download the file, right?
    Click to view full size
    However, having a download link to a zipped file as Riddy suggested would be more apparent to those who might not know about that feature.

  • Can I add a Comments box to a non-Blog or Podcast page?

    I want to create a website that allows friends and family to add comments. Do I have to use a Blog or Podcast format or can I create a Blank page that will allow comments? Are there any other applications besides iWeb that will allow me to do this if iWeb won't?
    Thanks for any help.
    Sunil

    The answer will most likely depend on what Software release and OS you using and where the Open Dialog is being opened from. For example Windows 7 Pro Photoshop CC menu File>Open the open dialog has a search area looks like a standard Windows 7 Open dialog. CS6 Does not have a search.

  • Can't add notes/comments to PDF files with Acrobat any more

    Hello,
    There was no problem to add comments/notes to existing PDFs up until now:
    While writing a note/comment using the Free Text Tool it looks as if it is alright but when clicking out of it or choosing another tool then the text color goes grey/fades out. Both the fill and stroke color do not apply any more.
    Acrobat version 5.0
    What could be the cause of the problem?
    Kind regards,
    laanes

    What is the version of the PDF. With AA5, that may be the issue with a version that is 5 back of the current version. Many of the newer versions you may be able to read, but will not be allowed to comment on. This is a version issue. See if you can do a comment on a current PDF version from your own AA5. My guess the answer is yes.

    I want to add a link to a Wordpress blog to my iWeb created navigation menu.  Dream Host is hosting my site.

    Here's a JavaScript that inserts a link in the navbar
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
    <!--

              TheLi.innerHTML = "<a href='http://www.wyodor.net' title='Wyodor&#39;s Homepage'>Home</a>";
              TheLi.classname = "noncurrent-page";
              theNavUL.insertBefore(TheLi, theNavUL.getElementsByTagName("li")[0]);
              // append a LI to the current UL list
