Can I add a CPU from a dead G5 Xserve to another G5 XServe? One XServe is alive and I can get the info from System Profiler, but the second will not start up. They are both labeled as 2.0 GHZ G5's. Do I just need to remove the one from the dead server and put it in the live one? Will the live one automatically detect the second processor and use it upon boot up? The dead one is S/N QP62217CSLX.

You should be able to do this. I've done something similar in the past. Provided the part numbers are the same (check the EEE codes) you should be OK. The only one real way to find out is to try it?
As ever make sure you have a fallback position just in case. If this is a production server and if everything rests on it I would make doubly certain of your ground first.

They are all unidentified numbers at present but over time i will be able to work through the messages and based on the conversation recall who each was with. Also, yesterday, some two weeks after the update had left my contacts list entirely empty... a vast majority just reappeard, though all of them are without any phone numbers, all just emails or facebook contacts. This is the work of facebook not mac/ios6 isnt it...? Any help here would be greatly apprecaited. I am about 2 days from flying to canada and having those contacts would make life a lot easier.

You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

On the computer in iTunes log into her Apple ID and then see if recent purchases are shown by clicking on her name in iTunes, entering her password and then selecting the option. If there is nothing there then she bought that music with a different Apple ID.
You can use TouchCopy to move all the songs on the iPod to the computer. Then try to play one of the purchase songs and it should show the account used to purchase it and ask for the password.

Connect the old phone to your computer, right click on it in iTunes, and choose Transfer Purchases. That should put all of your music in iTunes except any tracks that were not purchased from iTunes. there's a small shaded box in upper left corner click it and show menu bar
now go under view and show side bar
go under help and check for updates (11.1.3 current) - update if needed
plug in iphone (or ipad, ipod ect..)
when the device shows up in sidebar click on the name of device not the arrow
this opens up a summary page
across top says info, apps, music, photos, ect...
click on what you want to sync ie music
check the top box that says sync music select -entire library or selected songs and pick what you want by checking
now apply or sync at bottom

No, all iTunes purchases will remain tied to the account that downloaded them, they can't be transferred to a different account (nor can accounts be merged).

My hard drive recently crashed and I cannot recover it. I have a new hard drive and have re-installed iTunes, I have authorised this PC already and I used to have my iphone with "manually manage music", now I can't add nor set "manually manage music" to my iphone without having to erase it, I don't want to have to erase my iphone and have to re-download everything. What can I do? I have very slow internet and it will take weeks if not months to re-download all of my stuff/apps/songs again.
Will backing it up, erasing it, then restoring it again fix this? Will I still have to download my songs/apps again? Will it even let me back it up since I have to erase before syncing with this new pc?

I have below requirement.
Say In the view leftside Available Languages ItemList Box Rightside Available Languages ItemList Box and Add & Remove Buttons in the middle.
User selects languages from Available Languages ItemList Box clicks on add it will adds to the Available Languages Item List box and ViceVersa with Remove Button.
1) I have created 2 nodes 1) AvlLang 2) SelLang both contains two attributes Key and Value.
2) For AvlLang node, Property : Data Dictonary binded with table. Values are coming fine in Available Languages ItemList Box.
3) How can i add selected language into the node Available Languages.
Please provide the code snippet how to achieve this.

You can transfer purchased music from phone to laptop.
For non purcased music you would need a 3rd party app to transfer music from your phone to laptop - you can use google to find that software

I have a Macbook Air and an iPhone 5s. When I plug my iPhone into my computer, there is no "add to" option to add songs to my phone. Also, when I click the songs on my phone, it gives me many options like "Get info" but no "delete" option. It is incredibly frustrating because I would just like to add some songs from my computer to my phone. I should also note that the drag & drop option is not working either. I used to buy songs on another account and I have songs on my phone from other libraries that I don't want to lose, so I don't want to delete them all & sync the whole library that is on my Mac. iPhone will sync or manually manage with one computer at a time. Syncing or manually managing music with another will erase the current content from the iPhone.
Put all of your music on one computer and sync to that computer.
