Can i add custom thumbnail for sites that do not have them?

I frequent a boardhost discussion board. apparently it has no thumbnail, so pinning the tab is useless, as I only see an empty square. is there a way to choose a thumbnail for it? or upload one?

You can use the Settings in the slideshow to Show Captions, either the Description filed be display, the Title field or both.
If you create the slideshow in iDVD from still photos from iPhoto you can add the Description and/or Title via the settings in iDVD.
Since iDVD adds both automatically the user must go thru the slideshow and remove those items not wanted.

The question is -- have any PO"s been generated with other then 3-way match selected - which means they overrode the set-ups in purchasing , to see if there are an PO that do NOT have 3-way match.

1)Generally when ever we will do Supplier setup we will select in the Receiving tab Match approval level we will select either 3-way ,2-way,4-way or we will keep that as blank.
for that we do not have any direct column in the back end ,so we will use the following conditions.
'2WAY' inspection_required_flag = 'N'
receipt_required_flag = 'N'
'3WAY' inspection_required_flag = 'N'
receipt_required_flag = 'Y'
'4WAY' inspection_required_flag = 'Y'
receipt_required_flag = 'Y'
2)When ever we will create a PO in the shipments level what ever the Match approval level,
we defined in the supplier will automatically reflects in the shipments-More tab.
3)Here i wants to know all the PO's whihc are having Match approval level differences between supplier definiton and PO's match approval level.
(i.e If i will select a supplier for a PO , automatically we will get one Match approvallevel from supplier setup .if i will change that match approval level manually in the PO shipments -More tab i wants to know all that PO by using a SQL query.
4)But for some PO's i am getting receipt_required_flag and inspection_required_flag as null.But in the Supplier setup it may be one of the Matching approval.

Custom thumbnail for a file type, not a single file

I understand that when I upload an asset to the DAM of a file type for which CQ5 doesn't support thumbnail generation (Excel .xls and .xlsx, in my case), CQ5 will use a default dogeared-page icon for the thumbnail. it also writes an error-level message to the log to the effect that it can't generate a thumbnail. E.g.,

The error message is mostly harmless, but I would like to prevent it.
And I understand that I can add a thumbnail after the fact. But despite the language in the document, apparently this thumbnail does not apply to subsequent uploads (for all files of the same type).
Is there a way to establish a thumbnail image that applies to subsequent uploads?

Thumbnail upload (or for that matter any rendition upload) is specific to that image and it will not apply to set of images.
If we want to apply some custom thumbnail instead of the default one either we need to override the default image or custom workflow step is required.
If we override the default image it will apply acroos the DAM.
Regarding custome workflow step. This step will be added after thumbnail creation step in DAM Update Asset workflow(this wf is responsible for creating all renditions). In this workflow step you can check whether thumbnail is created or not if not create thumbnail of your desire.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.

How can I stop Firefox from blocking sites that do not supply ownership information?

I am trying to access a website and I get a 400 Bad Request message. Further "research" leads to the "This website does not supply ownership information" message. I have cleared history and cookies, reloaded the page and followed all the answers given in relevant support pages but nothing works. All other browsers allow me to see the page, but I do not want to keep switching to chrome or IE. There must be a security setting somewhere that must be switched off. I find it extremely annoying to be saddled with settings I have not asked for, have no information on have no way to control. This is what Microsoft does and why I use Mozilla.

It would help if you could provide the address for an example of such a site so others may check it. Give as an example something publicly accessible and not needing registration.

Can IPv6 be unreachable by older networks that do not support them?

We have run out of IPv4s and ARIN has a very strict policy in providing additional IPv4, so we have requested to receive IPv6 from ARIN.
Our Internet Backbone providers do support IPv6 and they said that they will broadcast those IPs.
We will be running several eCommerce sites on this new IPv6. Do we have to be concerned that some of the older networks may not be able to reach our eCommerce sites that are running on IPv6?

IPv4 and IPv6 don't interoperate, and while there are mediocre technologies for getting from IPv6-only clients to legacy IPv4-only servers such as NAT64+DNS64, the IETF gave up on trying to get from legacy IPv4-only clients to bleeding edge IPv6-only servers back in 2007 - see RFC 4966. A killer problem is that you can't reliably fake enough DNS 'A' records to cover the 'AAAA' address space at ISP scales.
Welcome to the IPv4 to IPv6 conversion interregnum, where we are running two internets and you can't get here from there. Yes, you have to concerned that older IPv4-only clients, this week about 96% of the planet, can't reach a v6-only eCommerce site. However, with mobile networks such as Verizon's LTE4 stuff being v6-only, you also have to be concerned if your eCommerce site were v4-only. Going through an ISP NAT64 translator will give a radically inferior user experience compared to a native v6 connection, and well as destroying all your geolocation analytics.
The recommended way to deal with this, e.g. what facebook is doing, is to run the back-end datacenter on v6-only, but to have perimeter services such as DNS and web load balancers dual-stacked on a small amount of public v4. Given the mediocre state of IPv6 reputation lists compared to IPv4 to date, I don't yet recommend running border mail gateways with live v6 as you are liable to leak more spam through.

I run Firefox on a server to display graphs for a program. I was able to save, upload and install Firefox version 21 on my server because it used the executable installation program. Versions 22 and 23 use a stub program that goes to the internet and installs the program. My server does not have an internet connection, so the stub program does not work. Can I get a copy of the executable program that installs the program without having an internet connection?

According to my experience and research, we can use AD account access to shared mailbox, as long as set properly permission.
We can use IMAP application to access it, please try following steps:
1. Make sure you have enabled IMAP and POP3 protocol.
2. Change IMAP4’s authentication to “Plain test logon (Basic authentication). No…..”(open EMC--->Server Configuration--->Client Access, switch to POP3 and IMAP4, right-click IMAP4 and select Properties, then switch to Authentication)
3. Use the following user format DomainName\Username\MailboxAlias (e.g. DOMAIN\John.Doe\Shared.Mailbox1) to log into the shared mailbox.

I know how to share my iPhoto photos to Facebook, but it used to be that when I logged on to Facebook, I had to approve the photos being published, and had the opportunity to edit the album and then publish it. How I do this again, and not have it automatically publish?

Problem creating custom tags for site that has no outside internet connecti

I've created a set of custom tags that work fine until we install our app at the customer site. The customer site has no outside Internet access, and so the DOCTYPE is failing since it references the web-jsptaglibrary_1_1.dtd located on Sun's site.
I tried copying the dtd locally and got it to work, but the solution sucks because this web-jsptaglibrary_1_1.dtd file is referenced in both my taglib.tld file AND the web-jsptaglibrary_1_1.dtd itself. Soooo....I can put in a URL that references it on the local machine, e.g.,
In the taglib.tld file:

Yeah, I think it's a bit ridiculous that in order to make all the tag library examples and instructions work, you have to have access to the Internet. I haven't seen a single example on how to make it work if there is no Internet access. That's very limiting. And I've tried all sorts of other ways of doing it, such as

but even then it won't work because I get an error message saying:

You can have multiple addresses associated with your apple id. You will have to verify any changes before they can be added and this is done by sending you an email. This is to protect you from someone else makeing changes to your account.

Can't Add Custom Artwork for Imported Movies...

I recently made a home video and exported it to iTunes with iMovie HD. I want to add my own picture for the artwork, but whenever I try to, iTunes always freezes. When I restart iTunes, I cannot edit the artwork and I can't play the movie. Any ideas on how to fix this?

When I've added artwork to movies it takes a long time to load depending of the files size. If you wait long enough it should load. Sometimes iTunes will crash. But if you just reopen it, play your movie, the artwork should show up.
It also sounds like you broke the file. Just re-export it and add the artwork again.

If a website doesn't offer to store the password then chances are that it doesn't fill that password either if you use the "Saved Passwords Editor" extension. You can only use that extension in such a case as a reminder in case you forget the password.
