Can I add forms or text boxes to a pdf in Acrobat that can then be edited in Reader?

Hi,
I'm trying to add forms to a pre-existing pdf in Acrobat which can be saved then filled with text in Adobe Reader.
So far, I've managed to add two forms to my document in Acrobat, but when I enter text into one, it automatically copies into the other.
Can anyone tell me if i'm going about this the right way or where i'm going wrong?

To prevent the automatic copying of the field values, just rename the fields so they are not the same. Any fields with the same name will have the same value.
Note that if the form needs to be saved by Reader users after they fill it in, you will have to Reader-enable the document, unless all of your users will have Reader 11. Do this in Acrobat 11 by selecting (while not in Form editing mode): File > Save as Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools

Assuming by "interactive text boxes" you mean form fields; in Acrobat, make a form field, then copy it and paste. (GIve the pasted copy a different name so they don't genetate the same field feedback.) Now you have two fields of the exact same size. Shift-click or marquee-drag to select both, then right-click and choose a command from the Align, Distribute or Center menu.

We are using adobe acrobat x pro 10.1.0 licensed versions
Issue
In a pdf file we have text boxes (Form fields), we are populating it dynamically,We have the issue in wrapping of the text
I had set multi line property (in a line we can accommodate 39 characters, total there are 49 characters)
The last character is getting displayed half, Please find the issue as in line image
Requirement
We need to wrap the text and display it correctly, please find the requirement as inline image
Please let me know your valuable suggestions

How to add the text box with background color in Acrobat 9 Pro ? (Urgent)

I have previously used the Callout tool to add the comments in a PDF file, but the comments were difficult to read as some of them were mixed with the pictures just shown below. Therefore , I hope that there's a tool that can create the box with background color, but I cannot find such tool. What should I do ? Hope to get the answer ASAP, as it's very urgent !
P.S. The picture below is represent the problem: the comment are difficult to read.

Is this a question related to FormsCentral or to PDF forms in general? If it is for PDF forms you should ask in the Acrobat forms forums: http://forums.adobe.com/community/acrobat/forms
If it is related to FormsCentral the text boxes do not expand automatically in a PDF, except for when saving a Response as a PDF form, when the responses from the View Responses tab are saved as a PDF form all Multi-line text fields are expanded to fit the text the user had entered.

I am unable to type in a text box on a PDF fillable form.

I have previously had no problem typing in text boxes on PDF fillable forms in Firefox but now nothing appears when I try in to type the information in. I am not having this problem with the same PDF forms on either the Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers.

Your system details list show shat you have two Adobe Reader plugins installed.

I designed a document in indesign but i need to add a formatted text box to it

I've created an indesign document with an interactive text box, but when I open it in Acrobat, the formatting is stripped from the indesign document in the field where I need it. How do I keep the formatting used on the indesign document so that when someone fills in the content on the PDF in Acrobat, the formatting sticks?

WHat specifically do you mean by formatting? Just the font name?

I am unable to print the full content of a text box within a PDF that was emailed to me - help!

I open the pdf in Adobe Reader, and can see all of the content on screen by scrolling within the text boxes. But, because the content is "bigger" than the text box in some cases, when I print the pdf, the text gets truncated. Can I print in a way that allows me to see all text that the user entered?

Quit Safari.
Open the Library folder in your home folder as follows:

I use preview's annotate feature to take notes by making text boxes in a PDF file. When I open the notes up again to review, all the text boxes have been rotated 90 degrees. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

If I click the boxes twice they rotate back but this is very annoying and time consuming.

Just checking...still no fix for this? I upgraded to OSX 10.8.4 recently and started using Preview to annotate lecture notes, only to find text boxes rotated later on. Appears to be okay if I go back and click on all text boxes and save again.
Any new updates on this topic re: why this is occuring and how to permanently fix it?

Am trying to convert a Word (2007) document that contains several text boxes in it, but they are not being converted into the PDF file. Some are though, some aren't.
