Can I add the NY Times crossword puzzle app to Safari?

I have been trying to figure out how to install the New York Times crossword puzzle application, Across Lite v2.0, with no luck. Is there a way to add this plug-in to Safari? Im using Safari 1.3.1 on a PB G4 running OS X 10.3.9.

Thanks for the response. I usually use FireFox and I have it configured so that when I click on Play todays puzzle at the NYTimes site for the puzzle it opens up Across Lite, downloads the puzzle (somedate.puz), and sticks it into the Across Lite program.
Im about to upgrade to OS X 10.4.2. Will I be able to tell the new version of Safari to do this or can I do this now and I'm just ignorant of how?

I’m trying to follow HP’s instructions to add a driver for HP Color Laserjet CP 1215 which is connected to my Time Capsule. However, in System Preferences I can’t “add” the printer to the print queue because I don’t have a driver and you have to select a driver before the add button becomes active. Therefore, the Mountain Lion software update doesn’t add driver software for the CP 1215 driver because I was unable to add the printer to the print queue.

This printer doesn't seem to be supported in ML:

You could try the 1515 driver or use the Generic PostScript Printer PPD when adding the printer.

I would also like to know how I should tag my cove content. I don't want the reader to get lost in content other than the body of the report, but I also don't want to ignore some content completely by tagging it as artifacts. What should I do y'all?

Hi Rob,
From the screen shots it looks like your script is not formatted properly (you may refer to 'Paladin Script' in 'Sample Project' to get an idea of how the script should be formatted.).
Further please follow the steps mentioned below to use Story to PP workflow.
Create a new Film script in Adobe Story
Create scene heading – INT. LOCATION – Day (these will show up in the outline view panel on left hand side)
Hit enter, hit TAB
Enter the name of the speaker, hit TAB or ENTER
Copy over the transcribed text
Build your script this way
Number scenes from the production menu
Export ASTX file for your script : File->Export->.astx
Open Premiere Pro
Create a new project, bring in media
In the project pane, find the "Scene" column
For the clip that contains the spoken text, assign the same scene number to the clip as you have in the story script (lets say both are scene 1)
Click out of the scene box in the project panel in Ppro
Right click on the scene that you just assigned a scene number to and select – attach Story script
Select the .astx fle you exported in step 8
Click ok
You should now see the script data in the metadata panel for the clip in the metadata panel.
You can now run speech to text based on "Embedded Script metadata" to time align spoken word to the script.

I am in Canada so can't buy an iPhone but am considering an iPod Touch. My 2 main concerns I'm wondering about are:
1. Can I add an email icon (through installer.app maybe) to check my email when I hit a wi-fi spot? I don't want to have to go through Safari to my web browser every time to check my email.
2. Can I enter notes on the Touch? I want to be able to have it next to me on my bedside table and punch in thoughts if I have them in the middle of the night...can I do that?

I'm making a slide show of over 200 photographs. How can I add the same transition between each photo without inserting it 200 times? There has to be a way to globally' insert transitions. What if I want to modify the length of the transitions or the photos? I don't want to modify each one individually.

Basically you do a Create Slideshow command choosing the transition before the photos are placed on the Premiere Elements Timeline. This process also specifies the duration for the "slide" and the transition.
2)I suggest that you also read this FAQ about the resolution of photo files to be used in Premiere Elements. Even though written for an earlier version, it is still relevant (and potentially necessary) depending on the specs and status of your system

Follow this DIY using iTunes:
1. Select a title (.mp3 or .m4a) in your iTunes Music Library
2. Do File > Get Info on selected title (Windows do Edit > Get Info)
3. In the dialog choose Options tab
4. Set Start Time and End Time (no more than 35 secs otherwise won't work)
5. Close dialog.
6. Now control click the title (right click) and choose Create AAC Version
Note: If you don't have Create AAC version, switch in menu File > Preferences...(Windows do Edit > Preferences...) > General > Import Settings... > Import Using: AAC Encoder.
7. When it is done, drag the newly create title to the desktop.
8. Delete the newly create title in iTunes. <-- This step is important
9. Rename the title on your desktop from ringtone.m4a to ringtone.m4r
10. Drag and drop it into iTunes
Now you have a ringtone.
Make sure it is selected in iTunes > Tones for syncing with your new iPhone.

Hi again, yes you can, in the Finder drag the hidden folder called .Trash in your Home folder to the Sidebar.

Open the terminal and type or copy/paste:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool true
Reverting to the default of NOT showing hidden files:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool false

No. When you purchase support from Vmware, they are your support contact and they will escalate support to Cisco on your behalf if needed. This is the case for all OEM support. Cisco provides support for RHEL, Microsoft and VMware. We follow the same practice.

This question has been posed,and seems to remain unanswered. I know the procedure to add titles, I have added 2 to my video project, but can not add the last two. At some point the background of my video project turned from green (the color it changed to when I added audio) to a purple color. Each time i try to drag the title box to the frame it snaps back to its original place....really, I must be crazy because I have tried to do this about 300 times...with the same results...yet I try again. Someone on this site sort mocked us....saying Apple should provide the answer, true they should, but they are not going to...so I implore those of you who know the answer to this question, please, please enlighten me and the others that may have it....is it me, is it a bug, is there work around.

Yes, if you are asking about using Time Machine to backup the Mac.

You are not thinking of deleting the photos and files on your Mac, are you? If you do this, you will have no backups for those files.
Another concern is that Time Machine backs up the changes on your Mac. At some point, Time Machine will automatically delete the photos and files from the Time Capsule.....you just don't know when this might occur.
In other words, only delete files from your Mac that you can afford to lose.
