Can I assign more memory to iMovie to make it run faster ?

I have 4 Gig on my MacBookPro. iMovie is at times sluggish and sometimes it completely hangs. When I check its resource usage using Activity Monitor, its at about 500MB and says Not Responding.
I am wondering if I can give it up to 2 Gig memory for it to operate hopefully faster.
How does one adjust its memory allocation ?

Like you I have high hopes for a 64 bit version of iMovie, but I am not expecting it anytime soon.
not 64 bit, but better integrated into Snow Leopards new features.. imagine: using the Graficcard as Co-Processor for (DVD)-encoding.. OpenCL, using all cores for real-time rendering... more 'fun' with Quartz, CoreVideo and CoreAudio.. stuff like that..
what we know about QT_X is usage of h264 hardware acceleration ..
for consumer video, I see no use of 64bit processing...- but I could imagine tons of new, or say: improved features for the video enthusiast..

Extend your vendor to new purchase organisation. Assaign new pricing procedure to this Purchase organisation.
Use different Purchase organisation while creating POs for the same vendor procuring from different countries.

Hello Vishal,
To show together fields which belongs to different tabs (this is, in the same event), you could use Multigroup feature (Application Elements -> Tab Page Group -> Multigroup). This feature allows you to group several events (with different field groups associated in main layout table) in only one (the even which manages the tab).

Of course. You can upgrade the RAM always that you do not have a Late 2014 Mac mini (I am not sure that you can install more RAM, and if you can, it will void the warranty), and you can purchase more RAM at OWC or Crucial.

Memory refers to RAM, and can't be increased.
I asume you mean storege space (like 16GB, 32GB, etc). It also can't be increased.
There are some wireless external hard drives that can be used with the iPad.
The Kingston Wi-Drive, which costs $50 for the 16 Gigabyte, and then $30 more for every 16 gigs more. It works by you turning it on and then accessing the files on it from an app that you download on your iDevice. You can access music, movies, and other stuff. No connections or anything, it works like a WiFi connection, you connect to it from the setting on the iPad under wireless networks.
Then there is the Seagate GoFlex, which some would recommend over the Wi-Drive. But this one costs $199 and had 500 Gigabytes of storage. It works the sameway as the Kingston: no wires, runs over its wireless connection. You can actually fit up to 300 HD movies on it.

Go to the Crucial website and use the System Scanner tab to determine which upgrades are available for your model - you don't have to buy from Crucial, but they do offer some of the best RAM for Macs available.

While sync : can't allocate more memory !!!(WCE)

I'm synchronizing (/Orace/mSync.exe) several MB of data (not much more of 10 MB) on a CASSIOPEIA E-200 (64 MB) with a SD Card extension of 128 MB. While synchronizing, main memory decreases dramatically (main memory, not external memory) and finally i get the message:
-2000 can't allocate more memory -2000:0
Other synchronizations with a smaller amount of data are working ok.
It is posible for a sync of ~10 MB to drain >40MB of main memory?? !!
By now, i'm using the SD Card directory to store the synchronized client DB, but this is not enough to solve the problem.
I think that temporary files and processes on main memory are involved in this problem. It is posible to use memory cards for this??
Some ideas????

Humm,
I think the problem may be the size of a single table replication.
The replication of 10000 registers from this table is working ok, but replicating 25000 i get the error ("Can't allocate more memory").
Anyone knows a limitation in the number of registers or size of a table replication????!!!

Multiple sales organizations can be assigned to company code.
Company code is the highest organizational unit and plant and sales organization are assigned to it.
In the logistics module, Plant is the highest entity in the MM module and Sales organization is the highest entity in SD module. Basically with this assignment of plant and sales org to company code all the financial accounts are updated.
Assigning of Sales org to company code and not to plant is the standard functionality that helps map most business processes.
