Can I attach a file to a form for users to download?

I want to attach a file for recipients to download, not a form for recipients to send me. Is that possible?

Hi;
FormsCentral does not have anything that enables you to attach a file for others to download.  You can include a "Link" to a file you have hosted on another site/server in the form using the "Insert Link" button/tool on the toolbar along the top of the design tab:
Thanks,
Josh

    Sorry that this has taken so long. We've just added support for attachments in our latest release (12/5/2011). You can read more about the feature:

  • Attaching a file to an event for others to download

    Is it possible to attach a file to an event that is on a calendar this is published to my Mobile Me account that others can download when viewing the event online? I've attached the file and refreshed the calendar, but nothing appears on the event online that indicates anything is attached to that event. Am I doing something wrong? or do I misunderstand the concept of attaching a file to an event? My assumption was that file would be published online along with the calendar.

    For photos, go to the camera roll and go to the sort of gallery view where you can see all of yorur pictures. Find the one you want and press and hold on the thumbnail. A little coppy button should appear above the photo. Tap that and then go back to your email and press and hold until you see a similar menu. Tap paste. Unfortunately, you have to do this one image at a time so it is tedious to email multiple photos in a reply. But it is possible.

    Hi...
    Since you are using a web based email client it's not Apple's responsibility.
    But you can try deleting cookies.
    From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences > Privacy
    Click:  Remove All Website Data...
    Quit then relaunch Safari. Try attaching a file.

    The Gingerbreadman on in that link seems he knows his stuff.
    I had the same problem and most of Mozilla's answers on here were so useless.
    Anyway - I think your problem is likely to be the Add-On 'Silverlight' - disable it and see if you can then select the attachments link.
    Tools>Add Ons>Plugins> Disable Silverlight :)

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
    The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
    Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box. Don't use the Safari-only Guest login created by Find My Mac.
    While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
    Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem(s)?
    After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
    *Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in Mac OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The Guest login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
    The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login.
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
    Be sure your Mac is shut down.
    Press the power button.
    Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
    Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
    Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    *Note: If FileVault is enabled under Mac OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, you can’t boot in safe mode.
    Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
    After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

  • How can I create a form for users wherein the text field will expand to accommodate additional text?

    How can I create a form for users wherein the text field will expand to accommodate additional text?

    You need to use LiveCycle (PC Only) to create a dynamic form like that.
    The best you can do with Acrobat to view all of the text in a field is to set the field to multiline, and set the size to "Auto" (If you don't set the size to 'Auto', you can enter as much text as you wish, but the user will need to use the scrollbar to view all of the text.)

  • Can I export InDesign files to Adobe Illustrator for editing?

    Can I export InDesign files to Adobe Illustrator for editing? I am not familiar with InDesign, but I am familiar with Illustrator.  I have CS6.  Hope someone can help.  I have a large Orientation Booklet that needs updating and do not have the time to get tutored in InDesign.

    No.
    The closest you’ll get is a PDF and Illustrator is not a general purpose PDF editor.
    Good luck.

  • I can't delete photo files to make room for iOS 8.

    I can't delete photo files to make room for iOS 8.

    Ive had this and solved it an entirely different way very quickly.
    Connect the ipad to the imac (i assume its an imac);
    Fire up itunes;
    while thats happening create a new folder called EMPTY in your Pictures folder on the imac;
    go back to itunes;
    select the ipad;
    go to photos on the ipad;
    select SYNC FROM SELECTED FOLDER;
    select your EMPTY folder;
    then hit SYNC and the photos / videos in photo albums / the albums will all instantly disappear.
    We had 7.98 Gb of syncd fotos and videos on the ipad and tried all the more lengthy [and unsuccessful] ways suggested elsewhere.
    There was so little space we couldnt u/d the IOS !
    OK, so we werent bothered about keeping the fotos that were on the ipad (they'd all been filed in iphot on the imac so not 'lost').
    Nice to find a solution for yourself when you're a silver surfer in your mid '60's

  • How can i attach a file in Form 10g

    Hi all
    I have searched in otn about attaching a file in forms but no proper solution i got.
    Actually I want to attach a file in Forms 10G . How can I do that anyone can help me??
    Thanks

    Which one of the various solutions did you try, and what error did you get?
    http://www.google.com/search?q=send+email+attachment+oracle
    Note that when sending mails from the database the email attachment file needs to reside on the filesystem of the database (or any location the database server has access to).
    Did you configure your mailserver properly? Or do you want to send a E-Mail via a Mailprogram from the client? And last but not least: what database version on which platform do you use? Questions over questions...
    cheers

    thanks for the reply Here are the answers to your questions.
    yes each account has it's own drafts folder. and I can save the file into the drafts folder after follow the steps you outlined in your answer. I did repair permission but nothing has changed .
    one thing i discovered is that I can attach files to the mail if i reply to it. only when i create a new mail in one of those accounts can i not attach any files.
    Seeing on the side bar that you are a top user I have another question you might be able to answer
    my apple help is not working, when i go to finder and go to mac help the page is blank and if i search it just searches and nothing happens
