The screen of my iPhone 5c is seperaring from the back of the phone. Can I bring it back to the Apple Store to get a new one for free
If it's under warranty and they determine it's a defect and not caused by abuse, yes. If it's out of warranty or was physically damaged, then no. You'll need to pay for an out of warranty replacement.

I don't believe they were looking for a trade in, they are due for a subsidized Verizon upgrade. I think the bringing the iPhone 4 was for setting it up and transferring as Verizon does not require you to swap your previous phone for an upgrade.

If I go to the Apple Store, will they take my iPhone 5 back (I bought it in France)? If yes, any idea for how much?
Will the iPhone 6 work without any problem when I'll be back to France?

Perhaps, depends how it broke. If it was due to a manufacturers defect and you are still under warranty, it would be replaced for free. If you broke it accidentally or by some sort of mis-use, then no, your warranty does not cover that. If your warranty is over, then you will have to pay for a new one regardless.

You can always go to the Apple Store and ask and sometimes people get lucky. Most of the time Apple requires that you pay the repair price listed here: http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/prices/
The least expensive way to repair (although it will void your warranty) is to go to ebay and search ipod touch 4th glass service and there are people who do it for as low as $60. -

If it is defective and still under warranty then they wil replace the iphone for free.
If it is not under warranty then you can buy an out of warranty replacement. In the U.S that would cost $149 -

My new iPhone 5 is currently having problems with the wifi. I can't connect to my home network unless I am right next to the router. Even then there are only one or two bars. When I am in a public place like Starbucks, I can't find any wifi networks. I plan on bringing it to the Apple Store and getting it replaced. Can I just get the iPhone replaced, or do I need to replace everything (box, manuals, headphones, etc)?

Where can I find and compare carrier coverage at the Apple Store?
I was in my local Apple store looking at the new iPhones. I wanted to compare coverages between carriers in order to make the decision on what to buy. Although they had rate information for each carrier, on their "compare carrier" app on the iPads, all I could see were the AT&T maps. I would have liked to see this at the Apple store instead of relying on the carrier websites or stores as I felt like it might be less biased if I could. Has anybody else noticed this? Where can I find and compare carrier coverage at the Apple Store?
It's always a good idea to let people know everything you did try or you risk people telling you to do things you've already done.
I'd suggest doing an internet search for "compare wireless carriers" or similar. One of the hits I got on the first page was this:
