Can I build custom hot keys?

I am grateful that Pages '09 has tiered lists. I see where I can assign Fkey's (F1-F9) to different styles. My question is can I go one step farther, into contentment, and assign key combinations that are designed by me and work for me? For instance, if I want to assign commandoption1 to format heading 1 can I do it? (and so on and so on down to commandoption7 for heading 7)

Can Safari create a hot key about "Merge All Windows"?

Well, I am now using Safari for Windows Public Beta, and it is really a fantastic browser. But there is one thing that I am not satisfied with. Although I set "open in new tabs in the same window" in the preference, when I click a link, the browser does not open a new table in the same window, like the Firefox does. So I have to select the "Merge All Windows" item , which has not a hot key. Is it a bug of the browser？ Or can Apple set a hot key to this function?

Adding Custom Hot Keys, not Keyboard Shortcuts

So, I've gone online and done some research but I can't seem to find anything on creating custom, universal hot keys. Everything seems to be about keyboard shortcuts, which are great within the applications, but I'm looking to create Hot Keys that launch applications or folders.
For example, in Quicksilver (which is no longer working for some reason) I had a trigger to open my Applications folder set at "controlshiftA" one for my documents folder at "controlshiftD" and one to launch Safari at "controlshiftZ" but I can't seem to set this up without some sort of app launcher.
I also don't want to use an app launcher because the additional engine it uses just clogs up my resources and increases my start-up time by about a minute....

You can't. You need an application launcher for those tasks.

as I said there is no way around that. either you use an application launcher or you won't have that functionality. 1 minute extra startup time sounds way too much. I use Butler, not quicksilver but I know for sure it only adds a few seconds and consumes very few resources when it runs. I suspect it's the same way with Quicksilver.

Custom hot keys in photoshop elements 9?

Is there any way to do this?
I dont want to have to click through all the windows everytime i want to free rotate the canvas. I'm using a wacom tablet.

Yes there are a couple of ways:
1. Windows already has a keyboard shortcut for Image>Rotate>Custom
    Press the Alt key then press the I key then press the E key then press the C key or Alt I E C
    You can find the windows shortcuts to menu commands that elements doesn't have a keyboard shortcut for by pressing the Alt key and looking at the underlines
    on the letters of the menu items.
2. You could assign the above keyboard shortcut to a pen button or exprees key on your tablet.
    Example below is assigning the shortcut to an express key on a wacom bamboo tablet:
Photoshop elements itself doesn't have a leyboard shortcut editor like the full version of photoshop does (photoshop cs6).

We are mapping .xsl (a custom template with the above .xml tags)
We are getting the below tags in .xml (which is stored in table iby_trxn_documents) but the value is not populated in the tags,
We have build one one sequence in the database, where we need to map the incremented value of the sequence in that place.
My (xml looks like any of the below two options)
- <PaymentSequence>
<SequenceName />
<LastValue />
</PaymentSequence>
In this case i am getting output as W
- <PaymentSequence>
<SequenceName>XX_SEQ</SequenceName>
<LastValue>1</LastValue>
</PaymentSequence>
in this case i am getting output as W1, but for next run i want it as W2 etc... or is there any option we can get incremented values in <Creation_Module>

Got a new keyboard and can't get dashboard hot-key to work

Hi. I have a 24" IMac from Dec 2007 and I'm running Lion.
Yesterday, I had to replace my keyboard. I got a new one at the Apple Store near me.
The new keyboard seems to be the same, except the F4 function key is different. In my previous keyboard, the F4 function key had a little icon for the Dashboard.
On the new keyboard, there is a different icon and I'm not sure what it's of.
Anyway, I opened the Mission Control preferences (from System Preferences) and F4 is assigned to Show Dashboard.
However, when I hit F4, nothing happens at all. The Dashboard only shows up when hiy Fn-F4.
So, is there any way to get the Dashboard to open when I hit just F4?

I am using photoshop CS6, but I was also running CS6 on my last iMac and
the contact sheet worked with no problem. I can get contact sheet to work
through Bridge but not photoshop, it's very frustrating.

Can't get a hot-key assigned to a Mail submenu

This is in 10.5.2. by the way...
I have a sub-menu of Get New Mail called "Gmail" where I fetch email from (you guessed it) my Gmail account.
In the keyboard shortcut panel I can't assign a key to this. Anything I set in the panel doesn't show up in the Mail sub-menu. I have tried restarting Mail after making the setting in the keyboard panel, but that doesn't help.
Is this possible?

I have that same SSD that I've tried for the last 18 hours to get Lion installed via Network Recovery. In various spots along the download, it will error out and say "could not download all..." -- forget the rest of the sentence off the top of my head. But it basically says it can't finish downloading Lion. I currently have it on the 6th attempt after trying the partition resize trick as well as deleting and reformatting the drive too. So far I can't get the Lion download to actually finish.
Also, the download for Lion is incredibly slow, and it's not a network connection issue. I've tried on 3 separate ISPs with a connection speed of no less than 12 Mbps and the fastest time I've seen for a completed download based on the figure within Network Recovery is 9 hours.
I remember using Network Recovery on my mid-2011 Air to try out the (at the time) new feature and it downloaded Lion in ~3 hours max. Not sure why it's now 10+ hours for the same file I downloaded in July.

Question about hot key to jump between fields in oracle form

say I have bunch of orders to upload,
at the order number field I type in the number
and move the mouse to click on next line to type another number
how can I use some hot key to replace the mouse movement.
I know if use tab key several times you can come to the next line eventually, but is there any better hot key just move to the next line?
my purpose is to automatically upload bunch of orders, and bypass the mouse move, if there is some similar case study material, I really appreciate.

There is one built-in to move to the next record programatically. Like...
NEXT_RECORD;It is a restricted procedure check the forms help.
In your case can use on KEY-NEXT-ITEM trigger.
or if you are uploading from any file or any other source then also you can use this built-in in your code while uploading.

F6 focuses the first selectable element.<br />
If "Tabs on Top" is selected then the active tab is selectable, so the location bar is not selected.<br />
Press F6 to set focus on the Tab bar and press the Tab key until the location bar gets focus.
To get the 3.6 behavior uncheck "Firefox button > options > [] Tabs on Top" or use Alt + D or Ctrl + L

This has been covered a million times. There isn't any crypto implementation with Sun's kit. This is mentioned in the documentation.

I am trying to install the ColdFusion Builder 2 Hot Fix. When starting the InstallAnywhere program I get this message: Unable to execute the desired program. Please get another copy of the installer and try again." Does anybody have a solution?

Can't build tp_smapi package under custom kernel, built ok with stock

I followed this guide and built a custom kernel http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Cus … n_with_ABS (with the PKGBUILD file found in this page).
Basically I changed the LOCALVERSION while config kernel module, and changed processor type to Pentium M, exclude some drivers.
Now I can't build tp_smapi package with yaourt -S, gives me error:

However it builds fine if run the stock Arch kernel.
This package depends on kernel26-headers, it pulls this down and installed, but itself is failed.
I believe the error is due to it requires the kernel26-headers as the other AUR packages don't.

I wanted to build a kernel26-ice with tp_smapi included as I would love to have more than one kernel on my system. However, I do not find any information on patching the kernel with such patch. Can anyone guide me to the right direction?

Excuse me for any inconvenience, I found, that kernel26-zen may be what I am looking for as it uses tp_smapi as a patch.

Flash Builder 4.5 serial number will not work directy in Flash Builder 4.7. You can use FB 4.5 key in upgrade scenario (upgradation from FB 4.5 to FB 4.7).
Please use the Flash Builder 4.7 serial number provided at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=labs_flashbuilder4-7 for serialing Flash Builder 4.7.
