  • Where can I buy a copy of fireworks cs3

I am looking to download/buy a copy of Fireworks..it's purely for editing photos on a very small scale so an older version would be fine..I was advised that I would be able to get hold of a CS3 version for a low price but I can't find anywhere to get a hold of it..can you help? I'm in the UK.
    Thanks!

It is not likely anyone will recommend a source for purchasing older software.  You always take chances when you buy from third party vendors and that is where you will have to be looking to find older versions for sale.

  • Can i watch TV shows in the cloud without downloading to my PC

I just bought a new PC and it doesn't have a lot of memory on it ...  Is there a way I can watch my Itunes Library without downloading it?   You can do this on Amazon, but I have a ton of TV shows in my library on itunes .. and I don't want to lose them.

No such option exists, all media downloads to the iTunes Media Folder location as defined in Edit > Preferences > Advanced.
Moving iTunes Media folder  This will move the ENTIRE iTunes media folder to the external drive.  Keep in mind that going forward the external drive must be connected prior to launching iTunes or iTunes will revert to the default location and/or give an error upon launch.

  • How can I buy _ANOTHER_ copy of Lion?

So I've purchased Lion on my Apple ID, and am gradually rolling it out to all the Macs in my household.
And I've got another computer owned by someone else, with a different Apple ID, that I'm wiping and installing Lion on (MacBook Pro, came with Snow Leopard).  The 7-pass security erase is underway (yeah, I know, but it was a requirement).
So I use my MBA/Lion to log into the App Store using their Apple ID.  And it notices that this machine is already running Lion, and won't let me purchase it.
So I use my MBP/SL to log into the App Store using their Apple ID.  And somehow it knows that this is the machine that I purchased Lion on for my household, so (knowing that this machine has already purchased Lion) it won't let me buy it again.
So I use my MacMini/SL machine to log into the App Store using their Apple ID.  And it doesn't meet the hardware requirements (says I need a Core 2 Duo, even though I have one), so can't install Lion, so it won't let me purchase it.
So I use my MacMiniServer/SL-Server to log into the App Store using their Apple ID.  And it notices I'm running Server, and requires that I buy Lion Server to go along with my Lion purchase.
So I use my iMac/SL to log into the App Store using their Apple ID.  And it lets me purchase it after confirming my billing details (because this is a new computer for this account), but it just sits there with a green "Buy App" button and a spinning gear at the top of the window.  Is it downloading it to that machine (where I don't actually want it)?
So I log into their account again on my MBP, it looks like it's purchased it, but when I click on "Update", it says "You have updates available for other accounts, please sign into <my account> ..."
Yowza!  So it's keeping track of multiple accounts, but won't let me buy something on one account if it's already installed on a computer from another account.
OK, so I _MUST_ be doing something wrong, not only is this way too complicated, but if a machine needs a wipe and rebuild there has to be a way to install Lion on it without (finding the disks that came with that machine, and) reinstalling SL then installing Lion.  I've built a USB boot drive for Lion Recovery, and was hoping to just boot from that, authenticate against their account, and load a fresh Lion install.
And the next person who comes to me with the same problem is going to be OOL, as I've already 'contaminated' my iMac by purchasing Lion on it, so it won't let me do it again.
And I don't want to buy them the Lion USB key, as it doesn't build the Lion Recovery Partition, which is farily important.
Am I missing something, or is this just nearly impossible?  Yeah, I could have just installed Lion on their machine using my credentials, but I want to give Apple $30, and they don't seem to want to let me.
    What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks!

    1. Open the MAS and sign ingto your account.
    2. Click the Purchased pane.
    3. Press the Option key while clicking the Purchased pane again.
    4. The Installed button should switch the Install.
    5. Click the Install button to downlad the Lion installer.
If you do not wish to download the installer again, make a copy somewhere as a backup, it self-deletes after it is used.

  • Where oh where can I buy a copy of 12.5?

    Greetings all,
I need to buy a license of PowerBuilder today if possible. I tried the PB Trial link off this forum, but it is a dead link.
I went to the SAP Store and search on PowerBuilder getting back only 'No Solutions'.
Will someone please take my $3,000.00 and give me a license? Pretty please?
    Paul

    Thanks, Bruce.
    I appreciate the information.
I checked out the site and they are selling 12.5.2. I need 12.5.1 as the whole purpose of getting the license is to continue using it for general PB development INCLUDING web applications. And as I understand it, SAP, in their (RANT ALERT) infinite wisdom (they didn't consult with me) removed web applications from 12.5.2.
That said, I have the software for 12.5.1. So I don't need their software, just the license. And that being said, in the past when I have purchased a license in the past it is simply added to SubscribeNet and I can simply recreate the 'Served' license using the total number of licenses that I have for my instance of SySam.
So what happens when you purchase PowerBuilder from TechXtend? Do they send you a license key immediately when you buy the product? If so, can I then upload that license key or otherwise transfer it to SubscribeNet so I can recreate my 'Served' license?
Bruce, I really want to thank you for helping me with this. I can't tell you how frustrating it is that SAP cannot even have a page in their SAP Store that refers you to where you can purchase the product.
A very nice person gave me the name and phone number of an SAP employee who he thought could help me. I called that person and was asked if I was already a client (apparently if you are not, you cannot purchase licenses direct from SAP). I said that I was already a client and that I had a couple of licenses (actually I have been a client in various forms since 1993 when I founded Prosoft, Inc. and bought a bunch of licenses, ASE and EAServer). My new SAP contact said great, he would talk to Sue Dunnell and would be back to me soon. Well soon, I got an email from the SAP contact telling me...
    "Hi Paul,
I can’t sell you the license directly.
You can purchase the license through TechXtend (Programmer’s
    Paradise)."
Frankly, I am annoyed that apparently me and my $3,000.00 does not pass Sue Dunnell's test for who can simply get an license added to their subscribenet account.
As a former employee of Cullinet who watch many of his compatriots join SAP, I continue to be amazed at the stupidity of SAP with respect to dealing with its current customer base. And I am humbled by the amazing people that make this forum work. At the risk of insulting anyone I left out, I would like to thank:
    Bruce Armstrong
    Chris Pollach
    Roland Smith
    Arnd Schmidt
    Ivaylo Ivanov
    And many others...
And while I am at it, where are the other 13,000 posts from the old PowerBuilder NewsGroup? I just searched this forum for 'IVAYLO' and nothing comes up. That tells me that some brilliant person at SAP decided that we did not need those 13,000 posts. Posts that contained fabulous questions and fabulous insight on the part of countless PowerBuilder users.  Where is that information other than floating around on Google? Why is it not part of this forum so that we have one place to search? Was it too difficult for SAP employees to import 13,000 threads into this forum or do we want everyone to continue asking the same questions over and over again?
The loss of this information on the part of SAP is a travesty.

  • Where can i buy a copy of iworks '06 for my 2005 macbook pro- or will the new one in the store work?

I've got a 2005 Macbook Pro and am hoping it is compatible with the newest version of Iworks. Even though it says for osx 10.4.7 or later, an app I tried that was supposed to work gave me the not compatible message as I tried to download it. I don't have the money to just throw around for an app that wont load, and I need it to keep my business running. Any insight as to the usability/compatiblity with the one in the store would be greatly appreciated for this old, computer challenged user, LOL!

DUH!!! Why didn't I think of that??? p.s. Say hello to Hannibal for me...

  • How can I buy a factory unlocked iPad mini without restriction of buying it with a cellular line?

I need to buy an iPad mini via the apple website which is factory unlocked, but the option I am getting is to buy it with a cellular line of which I will be tied to use only that line.
How can I proceed with this purchase?

Easily, you cannot.  You can buy an unlocked iPad within a country in which an iPad is unlocked - Thailand, for example.
