Hi there, I bought my mac and my iphone 5 in Colombia and now I am living in UK, my question is can I buy the UK adaptors and connect my computer and my mobile to the energy?

Yes.  You just need an appropriate adapter.   Apple products work across the full voltage range of 100 to 220v.

  • Can i use my iPad 2 and connect it to my tv via USB?

Hello everyone! I am not too familiar with all the my IPad. Can anyone tell me if I can connect my iPad to my television  via USB ?

No, but if you want to display your iPad video on your tv, Apple sells an AV adaptor for about $40 US. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD098ZM/A?fnode=MTc0MjU4NjE

  • I want to buy an iPad Air and iPad Mini online, my question is if they are unlocked so I can use it on my country

I`m from Costa Rica and want to buy an iPad mini and Air, when I try to buy it online I have to choose Verizon, Mobile, etc. to add it to my cart, is this normal buying on line so I can use it unlocked in my country.

Some iPads have the ability to connect to a cellular connection for data.  This usually requires a subscription contract of 2 years.  If this is not what you want, don't choose the iPads with data services and just use WiFi.

  • IOS 5 used to allow Airplay between iPad (WiFi) and Apple TV (Ethernet) as long as they were on the same network. In iOS 6, now both the iPad and the Apple TV have to be on the same network and both have to be connected using WiFi ? Why did they change ?

iOS 5 used to allow Airplay between iPad (WiFi) and Apple TV (Ethernet) as long as they were on the same network, i.e. connected to the same wired/wireless router. In iOS 6, now both the iPad and the Apple TV have to be on the same network and both have to be connected using WiFi ? Why did they change this ? Means that the iPad and the Apple TV box both have to be in range of the wireless router when this wasn't a restriction before. Apple TV could be anywhere as long as it was connected to the same wireless router via ethernet cable. Seems like an unnecessary thing to restrict.

I have found with AppleTV that it is the IPV6 on the computer you want to access is the problem.  The issue is that Homegroup on Win 7 or Win 8 requires IPV6 to work, but AppleTV won't work with IPV6.  (So maybe double check you have IPV6 turned off)
So you have to make a choice - Homegroup or AppleTV.... but you can't have both, until Apple brings ATV up to date. (crazy that it does not recognise IPV6 - c'mon Apple!)
You can set up sharing individually in Win 7 or 8 and have the ATV access files that way.
Having said that, there is always the exception.. I have an old HP home server running Win8 and it services ATV - but is part of the Homegroup... have no idea why it works on both, but no other machine on the home network will talk to both ATV and Homegroup at the same time!

  • Can i return my ipad wifi for a wifi 3G eventhough it's engraved?

Can i return my ipad wifi for a wifi 3G even though it's engraved?

According to Apple's customer service line you can return an engraved iPad for an exchange, but it's not clear if it's within 14 or 30 days. If you call they says 30, but their site says 14. I think it has to be purchased straight through Apple though. Contact where you bought it from and tell them you are thinking of buying a iPad and having it engraved, but are concerned about the refund policy. They'll explain it in more detail at that time.

  • I want to update my ipad into ios5 how can i backup my ipad apps and song?

please help me how can i backup my ipad apps and songs thank you...

To update to iOS 5.0.1 you need iTunes 10.5 on your computer. When you've got iTunes 10.5 installed then connect your iPad to it and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases - that will copy off your apps and iTunes bought music, films (not rentals if they were bought directly on the iPad), tv show, ibooks, but it won't copy off music bought from other stores or music copied from your own CDs (if they are no longer on your computer then you will need to find a third-party program that can copy them off the iPad).
You should also backup the device (right-click the iPad 'device' and select 'back up'), and copy off any important documents, files, notes etc (e.g. by email, the file sharing section at the bottom of the Apps tab in iTunes, wifi, whatever the apps that you use support) - the update process should backup and restore the content but it's best to be safe.
If iTunes doesn't prompt you to update to iOS 5.0.1 on your iPad, then with your iPad connected to and selected on the left-hand side of it, then on the Summary tab on the right-hand side click the Check For Updates button.

  • When legally ipad2 with 3G would be available in Thailand?  Can I buy it from US and use it with 3G operator in Thailand?

When legally ipad2 with 3G would be available in Thailand?  Can I buy it from US and use it with 3G operator in Thailand?

The iPad 2 is available in Thailand now, though I don't know whether you can find one it stock. The iPad 2 continues to be in short supply everywhere in the world. A US iPad with GSM 3G should be able to work with any carrier worldwide that offers GSM service and a suitable data plan. You'll need to be sure you purchase the AT&T version of the iPad if you purchase in the US, NOT the Verizon version which uses a different cell technology.
This has been asked and answered in these forums multiple times already, by the way. A quick search or browse of the forums and you would not have had to wait for a response.
    Regards.

  • Can I use a combined WiFi and Bluetooth PCI card in my 2GHZ Mac Pro?

Can I use a combined WiFi and Bluetooth PCI card in my 2GHZ Mac Pro?
I'd like to buy this one:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250583493783&ssPageName=STR K:MEWAX:IT
Many thanks in advance for your help,
    Max

It probably won't work. Some USB PCI cards will work out of the box with OS X even though the manufacturers don't specifically support it. This ad does not list the card manufacturer or chipset so it's very difficult to tell much about it. Furthermore it states that to modify the settings it requires a Windows-based Utility. Unless the seller has a good return policy I wouldn't buy it.

  • After upgrading the itunes, I can not find my ipad when it connects to the PC

After upgrading the itunes, I can not find my ipad when it connects to the PC
Before that, I can see an botton said my ipad. And then I can click it to operate my ipad

    Try this
Go into the control panel. Add/remove programs. Uninstall iTunes, Apple mobile device service, apple application support. Then go out and redownload and reinstall iTunes and try again.
There seems to be a glitch with a recent update and one way to overcome it is to just start over. If that doesn't work there are more in depth things you can do.

  • How can I link my iPad Air and iPhone 4s via Bluetooth, please?  They haveBluetooth turned on but will not find each other.

How can I link my iPad Air and iPhone 4s via Bluetooth, please?  They both have Bluetooth turned on but will only search and find nothing. The words 'Now Discoverable' appear under the search panel.

for the devices to find each other via Bluetooth you would need to turn on the iPhones cellular hotspot and then let them search for each other. As far as I have found this Bluetooth connection is only for connecting the iPad to internet via iPhones data plan.
To transfer photos you could setup a new photo stream and put the photos you want transferred in it. When it syncs to the iPad you can save directly to the camera roll and delete the photo stream. You may also be able to delete the photos old photos and re-add them to photo stream so it looks like they are new to the iPad.
