Can I buy an iPhone 6 in the usa to use in the uk with a uk service provider

Can I buy an iPhone 6 64gb in the usa to use in the uk with a uk sim and uk service provider

You need to be aware that it may or may not work in the UK.
If the phone does work in the UK, then you will not get any 4G coverage because the phones are not compatible.
Also be aware that you have no warranty cover for your phone in the UK - iPhone warranty is NOT international so you have to take it back to the US.
If you want an iPhone and you want to use it in the UK, then buy the phone in the UK and NOT the US.  You will get 4G and also EU warranty on the phone.

Can I buy a Iphone 5s In the United States of America and use it at India, with the carrier supporters such as Airtel,Aircel or Reliance ?

If you buy an UNLOCKED iPhone directly from an Apple Store or apple.com you can use it in India, however, it will not work on LTE, only on GSM and 3G. And the warranty will not be honored in India.

can i buy an iphone in US and then use it in India with Indian Networks

Asked all the time here. If officially unlocked, yes, the phone will work in India. Officially unlocked iPhones are only sold by Apple in the US...no where else. Currently, the only unlocked model available is the T-Mobile labeled iPhone.
Your warranty/support will only be valid in the US...they won't touch the phone in India if you have any problems or issues. And, the phone will most likely not support LTE in India.

  • Can I buy an iphone 6 in USA and use it in Canada permanently with my carrier (Fido)?

The USA Apple website says for no contract, and unlocked is from T-mobile. Will it work in Canada with Fido (uses sim card)? Has anyone tried doing this? The states is a lot cheaper in Canada for the Iphone 6. What will happen to the warranty/support?

At today's currency exchange rate the US phone ends up costing more and the US warranty is not valid in Canada so I don't see the advantage of buying state side even if you do have US currency. As for TMobile - Fido compatibility I have no idea.

  • Can I buy an iphone 6 in USA and use it in England?

    HI,
i am looking at buying an iphone 6 128gb but the delivery time in the UK is 4 weeks. I have friends travelling back from New York next week, if they bought me one there, would I be able to use it hassle free in the UK?

LTE/4G will not work. With the current demand, do not expect that your friends
will be able to walk into an Apple store and purchase one. On-line shipping times
are now into October for US orders. They may get lucky, but doubt it. Keep your
UK order as it will have an EU warranty and all features will work with your wireless
    provider.

Can I buy an iPhone without AT&T or any carrier and use it as an iPod with a camera and a microphone?

Apple Australia are selling the iPhone 3G for A$719, the iPhone 3Gs 16 GB for A$879, the iPhone 3Gs 32 GB for A$1040. No contract. After allowing for tax differences, at the moment these are around $100 more expensive than USA prices (Apple tend to set and keep prices relative to the date the item was released, regardless of further changes in exchange rates). This is about A$500 more than an equivalent iPod Touch, so you are paying a premium.
I am also contemplating buying a replacement iPhone without a phone contract, as most of the time I do not need to use the amount of call time required by a contract. I can already change my data package on a month to month basis. My use pattern is generally a couple of months with no real need for a phone, followed by slightly less than a month of intensive data use, usually in remote areas. Also my partner really, really wants to grab my existing iPhone to replace the iPod Touch she grabbed earlier. The extra iPhone facilities really do give it a decent edge over the iPod. In particular, the always present camera proved way more handy than I ever expected. So I am being encouraged to upgrade.
Still unknown is whether I can change SIM cards on an ad hoc basis. All major Australian phone companies sell iPhones (except most have stock shortages). Some carriers are only workable in major cities (but have cheap pre paid cards). Others are really expensive, but work well in country areas. Being able to run multiple appropriate SIM cards on different carriers would be really helpful.

  • Can I buy an iPhone 6 from France and use it in China?

    Dear Apple readers,
In one week, I will move to Shanghai for work. I have never owned a phone before for the simple and good reason that I never needed one. Until now... Many Chinese people recommended me to buy it from France as it would be cheaper. However, I was told that I need to buy a certain model that can work in China. Can someone tell me which model I have to buy? I I go to a store and be like "Hello, I would like to buy an iPhone 6 model A1586" does it make sense or?
    Do you have any suggestion/advice?
    Best regards,
    GodBlessMali

    Dear Lawrence Finch,
Thank you for the quick reply. I suppose I will buy the phone in China then as there is no Apple store around.
    Thanks again.
    Best regards,
    GodBlessMali

  • Can I buy an Iphone 4 en US and use it in México? Do they sell them unlocked?

I want to know if I can buy an Iphone 4 in the Us and then use it in México. I have read that they can be sell unlocked, but I just want to be sure. Also, I want to know that if I buy it in the US can I just get the phone without any contract on the mayor cel phone companies like AT&T or verizon?

Only Apple stores & Apple's online store sell officially unlocked iPhones in the US...no where else. Yes, if you purchase such it will work just fine in Mexico. Your warranty/support will only be valid in the US though.

  • Purchasing a phone in the USA to use in the UK

I have been on google for days now and cannot find a definitive answer to what the differences are between a USA purchased iphone 6 and a UK purchased iphone 6.
What i do know is the model i think i need is the A1586, this is the unlocked version that can be bought in the UK.
It is used by Sprint in the USA.
A colleague of mine in the UK bought his 64GB in the UK and has the model number MG4F2B/A
From research i have done, these are the factory unlocked models in the USA
The factory unlocked models in the US with 16 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB of storage, respectively, are MG482LL/A, MG4H2LL/A, and MG4C2LL/A in silver; MG492LL/A, MG4J2LL/A, and MG4E2LL/A in gold; and MG472LL/A, MG4F2LL/A, and MG4A2LL/A in "space" gray.
None of which matches my colleagues number above, so is the 64GB over here the same as the UK and the model number is just used to show that it was purchased in the USA?

I have it ready for you. Did you want to add Applecare + for it at all?
not at this stage, I understand I may add it in the first 3 months, is that right?
    Absolutely!
actually, what is the warranty situation? Will I be able to take it to a UK Apple store if I have an issue?
You sure can because it does include international support.
unfortunately that is not what the Apple legal terms and conditions say ,published and thoroughly vetted by Applwe Legal
    best of luck

  • I need advice after purchasing a MacBook Pro in the USA for use in the UK.

    Hello all out there,
I bought a 13 inch MacBook Pro in the USA last week and brought it back with me to the UK. I had been given an Apple World Adapter kit by the gentleman in the apple store, however I realised today that it isn't for the MacBook Pro and is only for iPads, iphones and ipods. This means that despite paying around $40, I am stuck. I need advice as to how to charge the laptop in the UK now? Is there an adapter for this or can I use any ordinary USA to UK adapter and stick it to the one I have from the USA?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Zainab

AFAIK, the World Adapter kit has a replacement PLUG for the power brick. What you need is just something that can go into your country's wall socket, as the power brick itself is universal and can work from 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz.
In other words, you ARE aware that the power brick has removable plugs on the AC end, right?

  • Can I buy an iPhone in any country and use it in other one?

Buenas, vivo en España, y me voy a ir a vivir a Germany.
Tengo intencion de comprarme un iPhone 5s en Germany, y mi pregunta es si podre usar el terminal luego en españa con otra compañia telefonica,
    Gracias

So you really think they are that much cheaper? Look here:
    http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_iphone/family/iphone/iphone4s
And that's without tax. Think again, while you can purchase such a phone here, you can only purchase directly from Apple & you will have NO WARRANTY OR SUPPORT for this phone where you live. Oh, and those prices do not include US state/local sales tax or any duties you might have to pay. Still sound like a good deal?
When using that link, first select the color, then click on "Unlocked & Contract Free", to see prices.
