Can i buy itunes match without kreditcard

Hello !!!
is there any possibility to buy itunes match without a creditcard ?

3 years later and things haven't changed, which means they haven't been improved by apple. when you want to renew your itunes match abo, then you have to give them a creditcard number. i bought extra a gift card with 50 euros, but it didn't help.
in my opinion this is very rude from apple, and absolutely inadequate.

    You cannot...
Note: You may use store credit to pay for your iTunes Match subscription however a valid payment method must still be on file at the time of sign up.

iTunes match will only work from a computer in terms of uploading new content. You should be able to copy iTunes purchases back via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11). For content from other sources there are some third-party programs listed half-way down this page which might help you get your content back from your phone : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

Without a computer you will not be able to do any managing of the music in the cloud. There is no way to edit any metadata on an iOS device.
Also, iTunes Match is not a backup service and should not be relied up as such. With no computer you will not have any backups of your music.

  • How can I cancel iTunes Match without iTunes?

I have searched for a solution a lot before asking, but sorry if I have missed an answer. I hate when people ask without looking.
I'm between Macs right now, no longer have an iPhone. I forgot I have iTunes Match set to auto-renew. I want to cancel the auto-renew, but soon. I won't have another Mac for quite a while. But apparently I have to sign in to iTunes to change those settings. I don't have access to iTunes. What can I do? Can I sign in to iTunes on someone else's computer, change it, then sign them back in? Will that mess there library up? Is there anything I can do without iTunes?
    Thanks a lot for reading!

Yes you can use someone else's iTunes. It shouldn't mess anything up for them as long as you don't try to download anything from your purchase history or enable iTunes Match. You MIT want to go to the nearest Apple store and use a computer there. Just be sure and logout of the account afterwards.

  • Can I use iTunes Match without a PC/Mac?

I want to move all my iTunes library to iCloud with a view to moving to an iOS only existance   I currently own a MacBook running iTunes 11 and can easily susbscribe to iTunes match and get all my music into iCloud.  At that point I'm unclear if I still need to be running iTunes on a PC/Mac or if I'll be okay just managing my music in iCloud.  Sure, I won't be able to rip CD's anymore, but I don't care too much about that.
I'm also wondering if i'd be better with a subscription service such as Spotify rather than iTunes Match.
    Anyone who can help?

  • How can I cancel itunes match without the latest version of itunes? I can't get the drop down menu from the store

I have a mac which doesn't support the new itunes. The instructions I have from apple say that I have to use a pull down store menu from the itunes store and then I should be able to view my account and cancel by turning off the auto renew button next to itune match, The only trouble is I can't see the itune match at all.

Turning off the auto-renew does not cancel the service. To actually cancel, or turn off the service, you need to contact iTunes Store support. What the instructions are are getting is telling you to do is to cancel the auto-renew. You can accomplish that by, in iTunes:
    1. Pull down the Store menu and select "view account."
    2. Enter your credentials when prompted.
    3. In the middle of the page click the hightlight button:

  • I can't buy iTunes Match? Help!

This is what I get every time I try to purchase iTunes match... I have done all the basic trouble shooting. Restarted my machine, reinstalled itunes, restarted my modem and router.
Any ideas.. This is very frustrating.

A long shot, but you might check the security settings in Internet Explorer, increase them to maximum temporarily, flush its cache, and then try again. I've seen reports of parts of the iTunes Store failing if IE security is set too high.
If that doesn't help, then absent any other suggestions here, go here:
    iTunes Support
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
    Regards.

  • I can't buy iTunes Match?

When I go to buy it in iTunes, there are no images and the text is all out of place.. I see the "subscribe" button, but nothing happens when I click it....
    Any thoughts?

Odd. I'm afraid I don't know what to tell you. Try posting your issue in the iTunes for Windows forum. Perhaps someone there can help.

I don't have a credit card but have more than enough to purchase it with itunes credit but when i try to sign up it asks me for a credit card or to redeem a gift card. How do I just use the credit I have?

No. You may only use what they provide.

  • Can I use iTunes Match on an ATV without a TV attached?

I've got an Apple TV2 that I use for music-only playback, attached to my hifi (using Toslink output, with nothing connected to the HDMI output). It works well with airplay and home sharing, but I'd like to use iTunes Match (airplay from an ios device seems susceptible to glitches, and the Mac with the iTunes library on it is normally suspended if I'm not working).
However, I can't see a way to control playback from iTunes Match without a screen attached. The Apple Remote app lets me play music using home sharing, but you can't really access the menu portion without a tv attached to the ATV2 to see what's happening.

    Hi,
i'm just following this thread and have the same problem as the first poster.
I would love to go to my IPAD with ICloud match enabled and listen to music, but on a proper AV-Receiver system without having a cable attached to the IPAD  and WITHOUT turning the TV on and WITHOUT running my laptop all the time.
If i understood this correctly, there are 2 options:
1.) buy the Airport Express and connect it the to the AV-Receiver and use Airplay.
2.) buy the new Apple TV 2 and enable/sync it with ITunes Match.
As far as i understood the main difference is, that on option 1 with Airport Express, the music is still downloaded to my IPAD (16 GB) and then using Airplay to stream it via the Airport Express to my AV-receiver. .  So i have to cleanup space after listening to music, otherwise i might run out of space some day....
Also there is another drawback of this method, the battery consumption, because the IPAD streams all the time while listening to music.
Using Itunes Match on Apple TV 2 doesn't download the songs to the ATV 2 , but streams it, because it has no HD capacities..The IPAD is working as a Remote using the latest "Apple Remote App".
This would not consume any battery on the IPAD, since the music process is running on the ATV 2.
As far as i can see, it is possible with the latest firmware of ATV2 and latest IOS enabled.
However, i din't manage to find a statement of how the remote App looks like. All the youtube videos i found show the IPAD/Iphone,/IPOD actually remote controlling the ATV2 software on the TV screen.
Open the Remote app on your device (in this case iPhone). Select the Apple TV you want to use iTunes Match with. You'll see a number of icons in the bottom of the screen. The music related ones (Playlists, Genres, Artists, Albums etc) show your iTunes Match library. If you start playing one of these, it will be streamed from iTunes to your Apple TV. No need for a computer with iTunes to be on.
When i open the Remote App on my IPAD i only get a selection of "enable home sharing" or "add media library". I can't find the Apple TV icon or any icons in the bottom of the screen. Only these 2.
I guess, this is just because i don't have an ATV 2 yet.
Does the Remote App show a screen like my music library on my IPAD ? With all the nice album art etc. ?
If not, i would rather go with option 1 with all the drawbacks of space, battery, etc...
Please reply, if any of you has made any experience with it.
Thanks for beeing patient, but i need to know which streaming device i should by.

  • HT4914 Can I use iTunes Match to transfer music from an iPhone4 to a new iPhone5s? I'm traveling without my laptop!

Can I use iTunes Match to transfer music from an iPhone4 to a new iPhone5s? I'm traveling without my laptop!
    - Music was purchased outside of iTunes store
    - On a vacation
    - iPhone 4 has all my music
    - No access to iTunes
    - Want to buy a new iPhone 5s on vacation but this is holding me back

Honestly, I've never used iTunes Match.
Keep in mind that iTunes Match is only for music, any other media content would not be affected.
Also, pictures synced to the device from a computer will not be moved over unless the new device is restored from a backup on that computer.
Personaly, unless the current iPhone was damaged or otherwise acting as if on it's last leg, I'd wait.  There may be better options in 3 months.
