Can I capture USP traffic with NI-SPY

11-14-07
Can I capture USB traffic with NI-Spy? if so how?
Thanks
TeBlues

Hi TeBlues,
NI-Spy captures return a log of low-level driver calls being made to National Instruments drivers.  It does not track the serial data passed along the USB bus.  To capture the serial traffic on the USB bus, I would recommend Portmon (if you are using a Windows OS).  This program monitors all serial and parallel port activity on a system.

Can I capture a picture with my ipad, and save it as a PNG and/or SVG file to a specific folder?

Kind of, sort of. (You can't save as SVG, but you can export as PNG.) PS Touch projects themselves are self-contained UNTIL they are exported, and even then they'll get exported to a specific location. (e.g., To the Camera Roll or Gallery/Photos, to Creatve Cloud, etc.)
The procedure would be to start a new project using the "add image" icon (looks like a landscape with a plus sign, in the lower right in the project selection user interface) > Camera. Take your picture, then PS Touch will bring you to the editing user interface. Edit your image as appropriate.
Go back out to the project selection user interface by tapping the back arrow in the upper left to save. You can then export the project using the export icon (5th icon from the upper right).

  • Can you capture an image with Zenworks already installed?

I remember seeing somewhere on this site where you can install Zenworks on your base imaging machine, then capture that image and deploy the image to other devices, but the key is, you have to do some command on your machine you are capturing an image of to stop some kind of conflict from happening with GUID's, etc.
    What is that command please?

  • Nexus1000v local SPAN can't capture inbound traffic

    hi all,
I just configured local SPAN on nexus1000v (version 1.3d).
local SPAN source and destination is on same VEM.
    my config is like below:
    monitor session 3
      source interface Vethernet13 both
      destination interface Vethernet170
      destination interface Vethernet36
      no shut
    SPAN session is up.
But we can't see any inbound traffic to the source VM.
(10.16.185.4,5,6 is the IPs of SPAN source)

    Hi Michael,
Thanks. You are correct. We are able to see outbound traffic from SPAN source but not inbound traffic to SPAN source.
Note: I have done vmotion for the SPAN source and SPAN destination virtual machines.
Please see the below output which you requested.

  • Can you capture while shooting with canon XL2 in fcp on Macbook pro

Is there a way to capture or record directly onto macbook pro hd thru final cut pro, or thru log and capture window while shooting with Canon XL2.
    If yes, how, please!
    Thanks,
    Zia

As usual, Jim is correct. There's a reasonable possibility that something could go wrong with the capture; without a tape backup you would be hosed.
Here's what I do for live multi-camera recording (it works as well for single camera setups):
    • Connect all cameras to a video switcher/DVE
    • Connect the switcher's output to a DVCam VTR
    • Connect all audio sources to an audio mixer
    • Connect the audio mixer's output to the same DVCam VTR
    • Connect the DVCam's Firewire output to my Mac
With this set up I can switch/mix live between cameras while recording to the VTR and simultaneously to the Mac in FCP.
Not only do I end up with the live mix recorded to tape and captured in FCP, I also run 'safety' tapes in each camera for additional backup in case the TD (me) makes an error.

    Hi Perro,
Try telling us all exactly what methods you are performing that is causing you the inability to capture. System specs, capture settings, logging methods, deck connection, etc. Tell us what you are doing and someone might be able to tell what you're doing wrong. This isn't 20 questions here...
Also try a Google search for FCP capture Sony Z1 there's a lot of information out there.

  • How can I capture a frame with a dpi of 300 or more?

I took a HD video and edited it in Premiere Elements 12. I want to lift out some frames to submit as still shots for a magazine article. They need resolution of 300 dpi or higher.  The only function I found in Premiere Elements was "freeze frame" which saves/exports a frame as a .bmp with a resolution of 72.  Anyone know how to save it with higher resolution? (FYI, I also have Photoshop Elements 12.)

    expressiveglass
    One way....
    1. Video on Video Track 1 of your HD project, with Timeline Indicator on frame for Freeze Frame
    a. Tools Menu/Freeze Frame.
    b. In Freeze Frame dialog, check mark next to "Edit in Photoshop Elements after inserting" and check mark next to "Insert in movie".
    c. Hit "Insert in movie" button.
    d. When Photoshop Elements 12 opens, the Image Menu/Resize/Image Size.
    e. In the Image Size dialog, change the Resolution to 300 pixels per inch
    f. File Menu/Save As to jpg file.
To get back to Premiere Elements 12, in Photoshop Elements 12 Editor, File Menu/Exit.
    Does that work for you?

  • Trying to capture SIP traffic via a Network Protocol Analyzer

    Hello
I am trying to use WireShark to capture n/w traffic.
Im running my OCMS instance on 127.0.0.1:5060, and am able to see the SIP msgs in the traffic.log and system.log files.
However, the same doesnt show up in the protocol analyzer as a registered interface.
Hence, is it possible to capture this traffic on the loopback IP?
Furthermore, I changed my OCMS instance to my ethernet IP, since WireShark listens to it.
However, I see that only SIP msgs sent from another box are recorded. Hence, if 2 clients talk on the same machine, the sip msgs r not registered. Why should that be the case?

    Hi A.J,
There is no way to capture any packages in a loopback. This is a limitation of Windows OS.
And you can't capture network traffic within the same machine (or network interface)

  • Can I use iphone 4 with tomtom traffic?

I want to be able to connect wirelessly to my TomTom 720 to use their Traffic Service. I have managed to connect using Bluetooth and have managed to make a handsfree call, however I can't get the Traffic Service to work.
The TomTom website says that none of the Apple phones are compatable with their system, even though hundreds of other brand mobiles are. Do Apple plan to allow these services to be used, or do I need to buy an HTC?
Is there an app that will enable this?
Is there some other kind of work around?

  • Can not capture with CS6 and blackmagic multibridge pro on HP Z820

    This is the setup:
    Z820 and Windows 7 pro
    Multibridge Pro and driver 9.7.7
    CS6.0.5
In premiere I can not capture via the Multibridge. The app crash when entering capture mode. I can not change setting in my capture device.
On the same PC I CAN capture with Media Composer v7 and BM Media Express.
I've tried several version of the BM driver, no changes.
The BM PCIe card is in slot 1 and the PC bios I have update to v3.50.
    Anyone having the same experience?
    Regards

Thanks for the reply. I know YouTube is not the way to check quality but it shows the stutter in playback. The quality wasn't the issue and it is filmed with my phone. The video shows what it needs to show.
Disk setup is a ddp server (check http://www.dynamicdrivepool.com/ for info) connected with 2 network cables for optimal speed.
Video cars is a NVIDIA Quadro K4000.
Premiere Pro CC is up to date with the latest version.
Export settings? I think you mean sequence settings:
For the record: I'm not trying to play a sequence with multiple layers of video of different codecs and loaded with effects. It's just a video chopped to pieces and an adjustment layer with some simple effects. The way Adobe is advertising the performance of Premiere Pro, one would think that couldn't be a problem for any Z820. Or that's what I was thinking. Hope you or anyone can help.

  • HELP! Can't capture with FCE4

I went today to a Mac Store to try FCE4 armed with my Canon XHA1... and couldn't capture at all. It says on the product description that it supports HDV format (the one I used with my camera) but still didn't find a way around. Is there something I'm missing? Can I capture with FCE4? Is there something I need to do in terms of setup either with the software or the camera?
Thanks in advance for your help!

If there was a dialog message from the application it would be good to know exactly what that said and when that message appeared. The Apple Intermediate Codec is installed with QuickTime. If you do not have that the system was not properly installed. Perhaps you used a setting on the camera which is not compatible with FCE. What exact settings did you using on the camera? What exact settings are you using in FCE? Is the camera set to output what you shot. Many HDV cameras will downconvert so they output a DV version of your media. With minimum information there is no way anyone can help you. Please give complete information about your system and settings and drives and how everything's connected.

  • I have a Sony HVR-V1P, can i successfully capture and edit with Final Cut Pro X

I have a Sony HVR-V1P, can i successfully capture and edit with Final Cut Pro X

My HVR-A1U was able to capture just fine.  The only issue I had is that it has mroe frequently than FCP 7 ever did find Timecode breaks and split my clip apart.  I never had breaks before, so while it is possible I had them on this latest tape, I think X is just more picky.  I mean heck, it found three in a one minute timeframe.  My A1U worked with X without me needing to adjsut any settings form how I had it setup for 7.

  • How can I capture / download ( save to my PC) a JW PLayer Video that is being broadcast - to capture a steeaming video played with JWplayer?

How can I capture / download ( save to my PC) a JW PLayer Video that is being broadcast - I wish to capture a streaming video that is being played with JWplayer?

    Hi there
Likely you will need to capture using a different tool than Captivate. Then you might save in a format Captivate understands (such as FLV or SWF) then insert that into Captivate.

  • How can i split Client Network traffic and My exchange traffic with two differnet ip address?

    Hello Everyone
sorry for my bad English and also my bad explaine
here is my network looks like
all the client on one subnet and network is 192.168.0.0
i have Dsl router that connect to Tmg server
i have Tmg with two NIC
    1-192.168.0.4
    2- 2 Public Ip address
    i want to do this
i want to split user's traffic and my exchange traffic
i mean i want to route user's traffic with one public ip addresss
and my exchange server's traffic with another public address
but when i add additional ip address at Tmg or create new NIC card
all of my traffic route with one public ip Address what should i do?

    Hi Uhan,
You need to use ENAT fuction on TMG to achive this
On the External NIC assing the Second IP as Additionl IP address (VIP)
Create a network Rule to NAT traffice From Exchange server IP address to the required Public IP which you need the E NAT.
Ensure you are creating rule only from Exchange server IP and not all INternal.
Look at the below Doc you step by step config
    http://www.isaserver.org/articles-tutorials/configuration-general/Configuring-One-to-One-NAT-TMG-2010.html
