For German, you would have to call them and make special arrangements, or pick one up an additional keyboard when you get back home.
This thing won't fit in your suitcase. Are you sure you want to pay to ship it home again? I would be tempted to sell it when you are leaving, and buy a new one at Home.
A laptop would be a better choice. These are also available with the same four choices of languages (in all models) through the online store.
You can make all the German characters and accents with the USEnglish keyboard, but some are two keystrokes.

TV tuner Card for Mac with Component input

Hey everyone, I was hoping someone could help me find a good TV Tuner card for my MacBook. I found a few potentials, however I've yet to find one with Component input that would allow me to play my XBox 360 at a resolution of 1050p. This is the resolution of my stand-alone monitor, and with S-Video the resolution would drop into the 400's. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What happens when you try to redeem it, is the field where you type it not working (are you using a computer or a device ?), do you get any error messages ? Was the iTunes card issued in the same country as your account is based (they are only valid in their country of issue) ?

If you can download it into iTunes, but then it still will not transfer onto the iPod (probably with the same message) then that suggests that it's a video Podcast which is in a format that the iPod cannot play.

when clicking on I-tunes or app store my I-pad 2 says it cannot connect and I have good signal it was working I even rebooted it?

The icons wouldn't even show on the device if they were restricted. Try downloading an app on the computer and syncing it over onto the iPad to see if that makes it works. If not, I'd likely recommend restoring as it would look like a software issue with the device.

TV tuner card feed on flash player

Hi guys, i want to know, is there anyway of getting live feed from TV tuner card to my flash player or Flash Encoder ? TV tuner card works well with VLC player. How can i do the same thing with Flash ?
Also name the TV Tuner card that can easily be configured with Flash

I am running a Hauppauge PVR 500 and PVR 150 to stream video across a network at work and at home.
Important: Hauppauge drivers will only work on 32-bit operating systems! Have it running on XP (Pro 32-bit) and Vista Home Premium (32-bit).
It is pretty easy to setup with Antenna, but you will need the WinTV application to first tune the channel(s)
Then install FMS 3.5.2 and Flash Media Live Encoder 3.0.1
In FMS just copy the RTPM code from the 2nd example and create your own html page
1) NB in the HTML set rtpm://yourserveripaddress (such as 169.0.0.0 or whatever the IP is of the machine that is connected to the video - antenna), e.g.:
rtmp://172.20.0.0/live/livestream&DS_Status=true&streamType.........
2) In Flash Media Live Encoder, tweak some of the settings - make sure the audio is set to WinTV PCI....
3) In Flash Media Live Encoder, make sure the FMS URL is: rtmp://localhost/live
4) In Flash Media Live Encoder, make sure the Stream is livestream
5) NB: make sure your Firewall has the EXCEMPTION for TCP Port 1935 (for RMTP to work over network)
6) You can also change you apache httpd.conf to "listen 80" - then just START Flash Media Live encoder and connect to you IP from another machine
7) Flash Player 10 is recommended on the other machine
That is about it.
PS... if you are using a Composite input... then your Audio will NOT come from the WinTV.. Audio will need to come from an audio in (Line In) on your sound card

Building a tv viewing software on PC based on analog TV tuner card

Is it possible to build a full featured TV viewing Software on PC instead of set top box that can work over major analog TV tuner cards. TIs it possible to make a software that can handle both analog and digital source.
One example of analog viewing s/w is dscaler. It is an open source software from sourceforge based on C++. What is needed to built that same in java. Is there any current initiative going on in this area?
The JMF player in latest JMF 2.1.1 have the capability to show tv but only that much. i have an analog tune card (pixelview). JMF layer capture command can show a perticular channel but I did not find other finctionalities like changing channels, sound levels etc in it.
Can any body through some light on this matter.

The JavaTV API only handles digital TV services, not analog. For controlling analog TV services from a TV decoder card, you would need Java wrappers for the underlying drivers for the card. If the manufacturer hasn't developed this, then you'd need to do it yourself or see if anyone else has done it.

firstly i have a mega 865 and have installed windows media center 2005 on it (all is well )
but now i want to connect it to my plasma screen that is hd ready
i play games like doom 3 and also want to watch my downloaded movies via the mega
which graphic card would you kind people recommend as there are hundreds out there and a bit confused
also i want to record tv on to the mega from my sky box (digital )and from my aerial (analogue ) can you recomend a good tv tuner card

This is the same question I posted a few weeks ago. Someone recommended me the radeon 9600xt so I bought the gfx card that appears on my signature. You need to add a little fan besides the card (and the radio module) to extract hot air, as the card completely blocks the airflow. The card works really fine!!
Express card? Do you mean PCI Express? That is a new type of expansion slot and, of course, it's not compatible with AGP cards so, if your mobo have a pci express slot (and not an agp one), you have to buy a pci express card. That isn't the case of our Megas (only have one AGP slot and one old PCI)
And the difference between full an half size is, of couse, how large is the card. The more little, the better airflow. Not sure but, in addition, I think that full size cards don't fit inside Megas.

I have used I tunes to download music with a paid I tunes card. I can no longer open the music store to download my music. When I do open the music store it fades in and out, preventing me from downloading music.

I can nolonge download music from I tunes, because the music store page fades in and out and will not remain permanent to allow me to download music with a pre-paid I tunes card.
Also, why is it you can only download music to an I-pod from one primary computer. Is there a method that will allow me to download music from a variety of computers.
