Can i change app store countries?

well i use the greek app store and i want to use the american app store? is this legal? when i want to can i switch back to the greek app store? help please

Will all the stuff I've bought still update?
Not unless it is carried by both stores.  Even then, I am not sure that it will update because the UK store database may not be tied in with the UK store.
Can I use both UK and US apps on the same device?
My understanding is you can once they are on there.
Will I have to switch back and forth between stores all the time?
To do what? Update? You would, but you're not allowed to unless you fly back and forth between countries.
I have a 30$ US card I want to use up, and switch back to my UK account without running into any problems now or later, that's all.
Do you live in both countries? If not, you should not have purchaed a US card, or the person who gave it to you should have given you one for the UK.  Have them take it back and use it themself and give you a UK card.
Why are they making this so **** difficult.
Read my earlier post about licensing.  OK and USA laws may not be the same on some points and somebody may be willing to sell in one country but not the other.

How can you change apps store when you travel around the world?
After upgrading to IOS6, suddently my iPad has switch me to the greek apps store instead of leaving me into my canadian apps store.
Therefore, I cannot upgrade 60+ apps on my iPad.
Does someone know how to revert this situation?
    Thanks for your help!

    Try this:
    1. App Store>Feature>Apple ID (at bottom of page)
    2. Tap on Apple ID>View Apple ID
    4. Enter your password
    5. Country/Region>Change Country or Region

How can i change my app store from us to uk on imac?

When on the main page of the Mac App Store, scroll to the very bottom.  You'll see in the bottom right, a small orb with the country flag.  Click that.  It'll then come up and display a list of countries.  Choose the country you want (UK) and click.  A voila - all sorted (or so I hope!)
    Hope this helps

  • HT204266 How can I change App Store in iPad mini

If anyone can help me , my little three years old daughter changed the App Store in Chinese on my I pad mini and I can't change it back in English. How do I do that?

Go to settings>app store and iTunes>click on your apple account on the top and then change country/region. This will not work if you have money on your account.

  • Can I change App Store without lying to Apple or is there another way forward?

    Good day,
I have registered an apple ID, setup all the required payment options, etc, but being in South Africa, didn't know how limited the South African App Store was.
I've done what I fear to be a foolish thing, without realizing the implications, told Apple the truth with regards to using the App Store and to which country I reside in.
I can't understand why the South African store is so limited in its content vs the US for example, I mean seriously, we're still paying in US dollars regardless of the fact that it's a South African regioned App Store.
Enquiries on how to solve my problem have revealed that in order to proceed, I need to represent myself fraudulently as being a US citizen. Websites galor even will offer me fake credit card details along with a valid Zip Code in order to register a new Apple ID.
I'm a straightforward sort of person and do not want to be forced to resort to fraud in order to gain access to content and an obviously more well stocked App Store.
My question is thusly, Is it possible to maintain my South African credentials, payment method being a South African credit card and gain access to the vastly better stocked content available to the US App Store without following the advise of those that advocate what I perceive to be fraud?
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I await in anticipation to your response.

The rules are straight forward ...
Your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

  • How can I change App Store account?

This has me baffled. When I attempt to update apps, my daughter's Apple account comes up. This is bizzare because my daughter doesn't use my phone. We've used the same computer to sync our own devices at times, but we've done this for over a year and never had a problem.
Here's what I've done to try and fix the issue. When I go to Settings/Store, I am signed in with my Apple account. Tried shutting off/restarting phone, logging out of account and signing back in, re-syncing device with iTunes. Nothing works.
    Any advice?

Apps will always be tied to the account from which they were purchase and will always have to be update using that account.
It sounds like those apps were purchased using your daughters account.

How to change app store location on iphone 4s?

    Changing App Store Location
NOTE: Your App Store account location, your iTunes account location, and your Apple account location are all the same thing. In other words, if you change the location of one of these accounts, the change will be applied to all accounts (actually it'll be applied to just ONE account, since they're the same and all, but you know what I mean).
STEP 1 - Open the App Store app.
STEP 2 - Select the "Featured" tab at the bottom.
STEP 3 - Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "Apple ID: [email protected]".
STEP 4 - Select "View Apple ID".
STEP 5 - Insert your password and select "OK".
    STEP 6 - Select "Country/Region".
STEP 7 - Select "Change Country or Region".
STEP 8 - Select your desired country from the list. NOTE: If your country is not listed alphabetically, scroll to the bottom of the list where you'll find it written in original form (for example, Japan is listed at the bottom as "日本"). Then click "Done" and "Next".
Finally, input your billing information. If you do not have a credit card connected to a bank account created in the country you selected, IT'S OK! Just select none in the credit card section. As long as you have a workable address, you're good to go.
*****As of this post, Apple has set no limit to the number of times you can switch your account back and forth between countries.*****

  • I can't open App Store in my OSX Lion

Hi there, hope anyone can help
I can't open App Store in my OSX Lion. The icon somehow changed to some kind of plain paper.
Every time I open it, it comes to the dock, bouncing, but then gone and App Store is not open.
There is no notification window or something like that. I did not change anything, it just changes itself somehow.
    Anyone have similar experience?
    Hope someone can help me.
    Thank you so much

You need to restore OS X using OS X Recovery
Startup your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys. From there you should be able to access the built in utilities to restore OS X.
That will reinstall the App Store for you.

  • Can't open App Store from Iran

Please help me. I can't open App Store in my country .

You are not allowed to use the UK iTunes Store from outside of the UK. Apple may block attempts to connect from other countries. From the iTunes Store Terms of Use:
"The Service is available to you only in the United Kingdom. You agree not to use or attempt to use the Service from outside this location. iTunes may use technologies to verify your compliance. "
Again, sorry, but as long as you are in Iran, there is no iTunes Store that you can use.
    Regards.
