My wife and I have been sharing an apple ID for several years. As Apple now permits file sharing among family members (for songs/games/etc), we'd like her to have her own separate apple ID. Will this require her to clear off her entire iPhone and all data, or how would this work?

No, she can create her own Apple ID and then use that for whatever she wants. However, any content downloaded to the device that was associated with the previous Apple ID will remain on the device, but when updates or authorizations in the future are needed, you will need to use that Apple ID's password to do so.

Great question! You can absolutely do this in OS X 10.9. The attached article explains how the process of using AirPlay with Apple TV to create a second display. Also, towards the bottom of the article there are instructions on how to set your Displays preferences on the computer to make sure the TV and MacBook Pro displays are set up the way you want them to be.

Yes you can change your Apple ID. Log into your account and change your email associated with the account. You however cannot create a new account and transfer the media.

You are misreading. That is for iTunes Match and Automatic Downloads, and says how many devices you can have associated with a given iTunes Store account:
Your Apple ID can have up to 10 devices and computers (combined) associated with it.
But you CAN only have ONE Apple ID associated with each device (as it pertains to iTunes Store/App Store Purhcases).
Again, you are completely wrong. I don't know how many times I have to say this. I have, in my possession right this minute, two different devices with content from three different iTunes Store accounts and at home have two more, also with content from three different iTunes Store accounts, said content including apps, music, movies and iBooks.
I don't mean to be insuting, but you do not know what you're talking about and are just misleading the original poster. I would politely ask that you bow out of this thread now.

No it is not. Purchases are forever tied to the Apple ID that they were purchased with.
However, if you want to change your Apple ID, and it is not an @me.com, @mac.com, or @iCloud.com email address, you can log on to Manage your Apple ID with your current ID and password, then click on the EDIT button next to the Apple ID. You can change it to any valid email address that is not an Apple domain email address (the @me, @mac, @icloud mentioned above):

How can i change my AppleID in iCloud to match the one used on iPhone

My iPhone and iCloud are no longer syncing after the IOS 7 update, and I think its because my iCloud AppleID was automatically set up with icloud in the name, different from my previous ID which had mac in the name. But I cannot find a way to quickly change this.

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

The basic setup is Digital Cable Box, DVD Player, Denon Receiver/Amp and TV Monitor. To that I added the Apple TV. The Receiver only has two HDMI IN slots (one for cable and one for the DVD) and one out to the Monitor.
[I bought a switcher to toggle the DVD and the AppleTV back and forth but just disconnected the DVD to simplify when I ran in to trouble.]
So now I have:
     HDMI from the Cable Box to the Receiver
     HDMI from the Apple TV to the Receiver (in the old DVD slot which always worked well)
     HDMI from the Receiver to the Monitor
     RCA's from the Receiver to the Subwoofer and the other speakers
In addition I have some backup connections:
     S-Video, Optical Audio and L/R RCA's from the Cable Box to the Receiver
     S-Video from the Receiver to the Monitor
Wait - JUST FOUND IT!
By going thru the excercise to track all of the connections per your suggestion, I found an anomaly when I switched Receiver sockets for the HDMI links. The video moved but the audio didn't. Turns out the monitor was using the optical audio feed from the receiver. So I disconnected the optical audio and the monitor automatically switched to the HDMI audio feed!   Looked promising...
So I first connected an optical audio feed from the ATV to the receiver - Audio! Then I pulled it, but the audio didn't switch to the HDMI feed. It stopped. Would be OK if all I was going to use is the ATV, but I need the DVD player too and I can't use a switcher to toggle between them if I have to unplug the optical audio each time.
This is becoming a career! Any suggestions?

Many thanks. If you're still not launching after your complete uninstall/reinstall, we'll go searching for old QuickTime componentry stashed in non-standard locations on the PC.
First we'll need to change some view settings.
In your Start menu, open Computer.
In your Organise menu, select Folder Options.
In the View tab, make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is selected, and Hide extensions for known file types is unchecked.
Click OK.
Now in Computer, open your C:\ drive (or whichever drive you have your operating system installed on).
Open the "Windows" folder.
Open the "SysWOW64" folder.
What files and folders can you see in there with QuickTime in the title? (In a standard installation of Quicktime you should be seeing precisely two files ... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.)

If both accounts are set up in Thunderbird, you can probably just drag-and-drop it from one account to another. Hold down control whilst doing so to make it a Copy rather than a Move, or use right-click and choose "Copy to…".
If you don't have both accounts in Thunderbird, you can send it by email. Forward it, or use "Edit As New", or use the Mail Redirect add-on.

Cmd+Opt+Shift+E will add a composite (flattened) layer without affecting the layers that created it.

I recently changed my email address and want to change my Apple ID account to match. To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
