Can I change my SIM card to use it in South Korea?
Hi,
I'm planning to stay in South Korea for 3 months this summer and I was wondering if I could buy a new SIM card in Korea and put it into my current Verizon phone that I'm using in the States(It is Galaxy S4). Global plan seems to be expensive so I'm planning to have Korean phone carrier while I'm in Korea but using my American phone so I don't have to buy another device to use in Korea.
Thank you!
That sounds like an exciting trip, berryholic. Good news! The Galaxy S4 is already unlocked for use with local SIM cards while you're overseas, so there's nothing extra you'll need from us to be able to use a SIM from another carrier during your trip. If you change your mind about leaving your Verizon Wireless SIM in for the trip, be sure to visit www.vzw.com/tripplanner for all the rate details and what changes through My Verizon http://bit.ly/xB4iTc would be needed to give you the best service and rates.

Yes, if you have purchased an unlocked phone or have had your CARRIER unlock your phone.

I'm in the US right now and want to buy ipad2 wifi 3G. Can I change the SIM card when I get back to my country in Indonesia?
Yes, as long as you purchase the GSM version (AT&T) and your Indonesian carrier supports an iPad with a micro-sim. Unlike the iPhone in the USA, the iPad is not locked to a carrier.

Do I have to have an unlock code to change my SIM card and use my iPad in France
My iPad 2 has an Orange SIM card which is quite expensive to use roaming, during a trip to France at Easter with our camper found it very difficult to find a good WiFi connection (couldn't find anything usable to Skype). I understand that we could now get a Pay as you go SIM from 3 that can be used in Europe, can anyone tell me whether I need an unlock code to swap this over?
Thank youDepends on whether you bought your iPad from Orange on a contract with the SIM already in there or whether you bought the iPad unlocked directly from Apple and then bought a SIM from Orange separately.
If you got it unlocked from Apple then you can put any SIM in there. If you didn't and are still under contract to Orange then I doubt they would allow you to put a Three SIM in there (i.e. unlock it). -
I have an Iphone 5C and i'm going to Brazil next month.
Can I buy a Sim card and use my phone? Is it easy to change the card?
Any ideia how much will cost? Can I still use my phone to face time with
my family here if I change the Sim card? ThanksIf you're talking about "regular" icloud, then setting it up should have no effect on your music. Try syncing the device to iTunes and check the music settings and sync again.
If you subscribe to iTunes Match, is the device in wifi range? -

Why can't i use LTE internet on my iPhone 5. even if i changed my sim card ..
hi . i bought unlocked iphone5 the last summer from apple store in Los Angeles , when i got back my hometown it did not work with LTE internet it just work with with 3G internet i changed the sim card 3 times and it is the same problem. when i try the same sim card with other iphone5 the LTE work very good ..!!
Where is your hometown?
If not in the U.S., the iPhone 5 sold in the U.S. does not work with LTE networks in every other country. There are different model numbers for the 5 sold in some other countries. -
I changed my sim card and i can't unlocked the iphone (the password reamains the same)
I changed my Sim card and after insert it into the old iPhone (5) I can't unlocked it anymore. I'm using the same 4 number password.
What is the exact error you're getting? Are you sure it's not asking you to unlock the SIM?

i had changed my sim card and trying to activate my iPhone but can't activate it. its giving me error like your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailble....
temporarily means try later
and
check your Internet connection
get to know if your iPhone has a netlock (no use with another provider) or even a simlock (no use with another SIM) -
The salesperson for my iphone 4 said on Christmas morning we could go to our online account, select my number, select to change my SIM card, and enter the ICCID number so that I'd be able to use my iphone 4 today instead of my old phone (not an iphone). I have not seen any such steps. Help?
I suspect the salesperson that told you that meant your online account with your carrier...have you tried logging into your carrier account online? To do this will require the sim number on your sim card, as well as the phone's IMEI number...you get the sim number off the sim card & the IMEI number, for the phone, is printed on the box.

Can I purchase an IPhone 5 that is factory unlocked, so that I can insert my t-mobile sim card and use it on my service from the apple store?
Not in the US, at the present time. Apple has not started selling officially unlocked iPhone 5's in the US, & has not announced when they will.

Can I buy a new iPad that uses a sim card to use with my local carrier? They only offer the iPad 2 for sale.
A quick Google search shows Union Wireless is GSM. Buy the AT&T version (GSM) iPad. You don't have to purchase iPad 2. You can purchase the newer iPad from Apple or Best Buy, or even Walmart. In either case, you get a micro sim from Union Wireless, purchase a data plan and enjoy.........

Can I get an Ipad with wifi and cellular but no contract with a carrier in the US? I want to use it overseas in Africa with a local SIM card and use the cellular signal for all my internet.
Yes you can. All Ipad's are unlocked and can be used any where in the world. Buy the AT&T version which is GSM in other countries

How well does OSX Yosemite run on a Mid 2007 iMac?
I own a Mid 2007 iMac with 4GB 667Mhz DDR2 RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0Ghz processor and has ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT 128 MB graphics. I was considering upgrading from OSX Mavericks 10.9.4 to OSX Yosemite, but fear it may slow the Mac down. If anybody has
