Can I change the captions font?

Is it possible to change the captions font in PSE5? Also, is it possible to change the location of where the caption prints on photos? If so, how is this done?

> In the User Guide it is in Chapter 8, Managing files and catalogs. The section heading is "Adding captions and notes."
Yes those are Creations - I believe that one is a slide show and the other is a calendar.
When doing the PRINT (click on printer icon), then choosing Individual as the type of print and checking Caption in the options, I believe that the only choice is to have the caption printed below and to the left of the photo.
Are you using the entire page of paper after you print or are you cutting out prints - like multiple 4x6 prints from one piece of paper?
If you are using the entire page of paper, then try this - start with CREATE and then choose PHOTO LAYOUT and pick a simple layout with no background. After the layout contents display you will have the ability to place the text wherever you wish ON the photo as well as change the color and the font.
You will be working in the Editor workspace for the Photo Layout and if you have never used the Elements Text Tool it may seem a little strange at first.
Now with this photo layout you can do more complex backgrounds and embellishments. However if you do not choose any background when you start the photo layout, it will look similar to doing a Print.
So I suggest that you look at the Photo Layout function and see if it looks like it will be beneficial for you.

  • Can you change the default font in an iPad mail account?

I suspect you can't, but just checking: can you change the default font in an iPad mail account?

There is no way to change the default font in the mail app. You can make the type larger by using the accessibility feature of larger text. Settings>General>Accessibility>Larger Text. There is an app that allows you to add fonts to the iPad, but I do not think this works with the built in iOS apps such as mail.
    You can check it out.

  • How can I change the proportional font in Firefox?

I prefer helvetica font, so I have changed the fonts for webpages in Firefox settings to it (changed all fonts to helvetica, unchecked "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"). However, some webpages still display in what I presume is the seriff font under proportional font. It would be nice to get all webpages to display in helvetica font but it seems that firefox only allows seriff or sans seriff for the proportional font.
How can I make all the webpages display with the same font: helvetica?
Please do not tell me how to change the other fonts; once again, I have done that.
I only want to know if and how the PROPORTIONAL FONT can be changed or disabled, so that all webpages display in helvetica.

I found it. In fact, the proportional ask you if you prefer serif or sans-serif. Then, under this, you can choose what serif is, and what sans-serif is.
By example, I wanted my proportional font to be the Mona font. So I put sans-serif for proportional, and then I changed sans-serif for Mona.

  • *** Can I change the position/font of the titles?

I would like to create a slideshow of some of my pictures where the title is also visible. I can see the checkmark to make sure the title is there but I wonder if it's possible to change the location and font of the text. Is there a way to do this? Currently it is in the top left corner and only allows 1 kind of font. Ideally I'd love to have it centered at the bottom. Can I do this?

Thanks for the info. I'm a Final Cut user. I actually don't have a clue about iMovie. My intention was to try and do this with the least amount of manual labour as possible. The wierd thing is, in iPhoto if I select the text in the information window and control-click on the title it gives me a box that seems to allow me to choose fonts and font sizes...........wierd.
    Anyway, thanks for the info!

  • Can I change the printing font?

When I print out a CD jewel case insert, the font size is so big that each item in the list of songs gets truncated. Ugh!
Is there a way to change this? I can't find a preference setting but maybe I just don't get it.
A resource file hack is fine with me, but I don't know which file to edit or what I should edit it to read, so I would appreciate advice.
    Thanks so much!
    -Sara

In an effort to get Apple to answer this question, I will ask it again.
When printing CD jewel case inserts, why can't I adjust the size of the printing so that I can see the entire listing? Many classical song titles are very long, and the end, usually with the last detail that I want disappears as the name is truncated.
Also, it appears that the maximum number that may appear is 25 songs on the inserts. I have several classical CDs that have more than 25 and I don't get to print them either.
How about it, Apple? Would you please give us some options on the playlist fonts?

  • Can you change the TOC font size and pane size?

I am using RH 9 to generate WebHelp whose output is ultimately being viewed by a QT browser on a Linux platform machine. In my WebHelp settings, I am using "(Traditional style -no skin)" and using "Show/hide navigation pane" in my topic navigation.
Because of the small size screen that it is being viewed on, the default TOC pane size is too big (takes up half the screen), and the TOC font is too small (defaults to 10 pt). I can't seem to find any where in the RH UI to change these two settings. Does anyone know the specific output file(s) where these are being stored so can I change these settings manually? I know that if I manually change them outside of RH, I'll need to do it every time file I publish my help system, but that's an acceptable workaround to me, given the importance of this issue to me.

  • How can I change the caption of a text field using data?

Hi, I've read that this is possible to do but when you have an xsd file, I'm using a preview xml data file, so there is no way to link them together, any ideas?.
    Thanks!.

    1) In Designer, Tools>Options
    2) Select Data Binding in the left pane and make sure Show Dynamic Properties is checked
    3) Select the field that you want the caption to be driven by XML
    4) In the Object palette under the Field tab you'll notice Caption is now green and underlined, click it.
    5) If your form is bound to a schema you can see the hierachy when you press the button beside the binding entry field or in your case to access the Caption attribute in your XML type> $.textField1.Caption
Assuming '$' is your root node.

  • How can I change the interactive PDF font?

I'm making a interactive PDF in inDesign (CS6). Problem is, when I export the file in to a interactive PDF, everything looks good except when I  want to type in the text field (interactive) the font is in Times New Roman. I want another font. So my question is, how can I change the (interactive) font? I tried a lot of things, but I can't find the solution.

@Renzo – in Acrobat Pro you have an option to format the form fields.
Under the tab "Appearance" there is "Text" with "Font Size:", "Font:" and "Text Color:".
    See screenshot:

  • FAQ: UI - How can I change the color theme, size of the text, or turn off the application frame?

    CHANGING THE INTERFACE COLOR SCHEME:
The Photoshop CS6 default interface is dark, but if you prefer the lighter interface you are used to from earlier versions,
you can change it back in the appearance area. There are 4 default color themes.
Mac          Photoshop > Preferences > Interface
Windows   Edit > Preferences > Interface
    CONFIGURING LARGER FONTS:
For those who need larger fonts, you can also change the UI Font Size down in the type area.
Be sure to restart Photoshop to see the changes.
    TURNING OFF THE APPLICATION FRAME
CS6 opens now by default in "Application Frame". You can go Window>Application Frame in the main meu and uncheck this

Select the title / text and then click on the "i" (inspector). A colored pin wheel shows up after you click on the square box directly below the font settings inside the inspector window. Then simply drag the dot to the color you want. Like this:
