Can I change the "Card Type" field on checkout page?

I'm not real familyar with forms so i don't want to mess up the one on the chekout page.
This is the default:

            <option value="2">Master Card</option>
            <option value="3">Bank Card</option>
            <option value="4">American Express</option>
            <option value="5">Diners Club</option>

I don't really need Bank Card, Diners Club, or JCB so i'm assuming i can just delete them.
I would like to ad Discover Card to the list.
Can i simply change out "Bank Card" for "Discover Card" or will this mess up the transaction?

Hello eric_413,
The card type is not a mandatory option for the checkout form to work. You can remove it and place an image of cards excepted, if your merchant provider excepts Discover that is all you need.

For your second question, yes. Just place the whole form in the order_registration page, not a module.

How can we change the message type?

Hello all
We use SRM server 5.5 with classic scenario.
When we create shopping cart, we implemented the Change Badi to assign the purchasing group from R/3 material master.
We implemented the following logic.
If material master in R/3 has no purch. Group, SRM also has no purch. Group. So SRM display the error message You should select the purch. group to determine the purchasing group in basic view.
But, We have the standard error message, when we choose the material code this material code has no purch. Group in R/3 No purchasing groups were found.
Message number is BBP_ATTR050.
Because of this message, we can not progress the process to create shopping cart.
Can we change the message type from Error to Warning Message?
Or, Can we delete this message?

Yes. You are right.
When user choose the material code, there is no purch. group in 1st Step, but
we want to choose the purch. group in 2nd Step on basic view.
But we have the error message at 1st step. so we can not progress to 2nd Step.
If we use dummy purch. group, user could make the human mistake.
So our customer want to remove purch. group and choose the purchasing group by user.
But i'm not sure if we remove this error message, we got solve this problem..
Pls give me an idea..

Hi,
You can change valuation class, or you can set valuation category for your material master. If valuation category is set you can extend your material master and in this way creating records for different valuation types.
Please try to set the desired changes in your mmr (MM02) > save > SAP will give you error message > push 'Display error' button and you will see what conditions must be eliminated to carry out the change.
- you are not allowed to have open transactional data
- no stock in the current and previous period (using proper posting date in MB1A + 201 you can reduce your stock level to 0, and after that you can set it back by MB1A + 202)
- in case of valuation category setting batch archiving may be necessary

For indivial material you can change it from MM02 . ( Select Insp.setup under Quality Management view) and again choose for Create new Inspection Type

You will have to configure that with your router. Type your router's IP address in the search/domain bar and allow port forwarding.
What is requiring you to have an open NAT? That issue is usually for gaming consoles, etc.

Can we change the data type of a field based on the value of the field

My Requirement is as below -- Could you please guide me
in the Printable Adobe form -- for ex - as usual for dates fields in the Object Pallette the object type is a date/time field and for quantity/currency fields corresponding fields are taken
now in case the either the date, quantity or currency is initial in place of displaying 0.00 or empty date we need to display N/A (Not Applicable)
for this I would like to change the data type of the field
to put it simply --
we need to change the data type of date field from DATE&TIME to Char type to hold N/A or Quantity field to Char field to hold N/A
how can we realize this in SAP adobe forms

Hello Ramchander,
     You cannot change the data type of the field at run time in Adobe forms because the type of field you choose at the time of design level is associated with the data type itself.
If you want to achieve your requirement, then your main idea should be to set the data type as CHARACTER itself while designing the field in the adobe form itself. CHAR field will comfortably hold the value of Calculation/amount field, Currency field, Amount, Date, Time HHMMSS, Unit Accuracy, Currency key, Floating point number, Numeric text, Client, Language and many other data types.
After designing the field as TEXT field in Adobe form you have two options.
Option 1:
Select the Date field initially as type TEXT field or CHAR field in Adobe forms.
Suppose the name of the field is TEXTFIELD1, then write the Javascript code on this field in Initialize event as below.
if ( this.rawvalue == null )
     this.rawvalue = "N/A";
If the field is not blank, then it will show the date. Else it will show "N/A".
Option 2:
Select the Date field initially as type TEXT field or CHAR field in Adobe forms. Do the formatting part in ABAP itself. It will increase the performance. Avoid Javascript as much as possible.
Suppose you have a DATE variable l_dats of type DATS. Then take another variable l_date of type CHAR. Then write the below ABAP code.
MOVE l_dats TO l_date.
IF l_date IS INITIAL.
     l_date = 'N/A'.
ENDIF.
Bind the l_date to the TEXT field in the form.
Even in this case, if the field is not blank, then it will show the date. Else it will show "N/A".
But I will suggest you to use Option 2 of keeping the AMOUNT, QUANTITY, DATE, TIME fields etc as CHAR or TEXT fields in Adobe form and do the required formatting in ABAP itself.

Actually you can change the file type, using a defaults write command in Terminal. Whatever you select changes the file type for all screenshots until/unless you globally change it again. All OnyX does is run this command in the program's interface--if you don't know how to use Terminal you may prefer this. If you want to use Terminal, you would launch it, then copy this command:
defaults write com.apple.screencapture type jpg
Paste it into the Terminal window and then press the Return key. I believe you need to restart for the change to take effect.

You cannot change the PIc size of the Buddy on the Buddy List or in the Messages (Chat) window.
In the View Menu you can turn off the Buddy Pics (Depending if the Buddy List or Messages window is the "Front" one when you use that Menu).

Only by moving your video subject relative to your Mac (or vice-versa.)
FaceTime software does not allow FOV adjustment in software.
A couple of workarounds I can offer:
(1) http://www.ecamm.com/mac/iglasses/index.html add-on softwre can pan and zoom.
     (See System Requirements to be sure of compatibility with your system.)
     (iGlasses' modified images can show reduced quality. Using more light may help.)
(2) If you have a compatible external camera that can zoom, you could use it.

Can't change the media type in iTunes

I just recently bought my first MBP and I have been busy transferring all my files from my Vaio to my MBP. I convert all my dvds to digital format and keep them on an external HDD (LaCie 1TB HDD) and was adding them to my iTunes on my MBP. I came across a problem trying to change the media kind for some of the videos.
I have several shows on my HDD (anime, Dexter, Walking Dead, etc.) but when I go to change the media kind to TV Show, it doesn't let me. The info on the folder says my MBP has "Read only" permission. How can I change this so I can read and write the files for my MBP? This is about the only snag I've come across trying to set up my MBP similar to my Vaio.

With the folder's "Get Info" window open, click the pad lock at the bottom right of the window to inlock it (you'll need to type in your system password--the one you use to log in to your computer). Then, select the "read only" privilege next to your name and slide up to select "Read and write." If there are other folders within the folder, click on the gear symbol at the bottom of the window and select "Apply to enclosed items..."

Can I change the default contacts fields? iOs6, iPhone 5

I would like to change the fields that appear as defaults for new contacts.
for example, i would like the "notes" field to be made available upon creation of a new contact,

We are using the FM 'REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY' to display the output.We have a column Clearing agent status in the output which has 3 lights(Red,Green,Yellow).After getting the output if i change the layout, the output of this column is appearing as description instead af light.
Eg:For green light,it is 'All approvals are issued'.
When checked in debugging, I could find out that there is one subroutine 'Column_width_optimize' in which the output length of the columns are getting changed.Initially the output length would be same as data elements length.But once this subroutine runs,the lengths are getting changed.(Clearing agent status if of length : 60,but it is getting changed to 30 which is the length of its description.)
Now,I want to know if we can change the output length so that i obtain the required output.

You can change the length in th eoutput by using
outputlen in fieldcat.
You can use like this
w_fieldcat-outputlen = '20'.
If you want 20 char lenght in the output.

wma is Windows Media Player format so no to that. mp3 can be done of course. In the importing section of preferences you can set what kind of file is created when ripping CDs.
