Can I change the favorites bookmark bar on the top of the screen to show just the relevant favicons?
I can't find how. At the moment it shows titles and no favicons. This rather small issue keep driving me into the arms of Firefox and Chrome, both of which let me easily show favorites by their favicons.
Advantages are that it's easier to see them quickly and they take up less space so that I can fit more in. So if anyone can help me with how to change the bar, it would be great.
You can depopulate the last row by moving the apps to a screen.

Here is the workaround for sorting your bookmarks - you don't have to do it manually as suggested in the previous answer here. This is from a 2006 page at Hints.Macworld.com
"One thing that bugs me is that there is no option in Safari to alphabetize bookmarks. I had a crazy idea about how to accomplish this, and it seems to work. Hopefully I'm not missing something more obvious.
What I did was open the Bookmarks window (Bookmarks: Show All Bookmarks), put the links I wanted to alphabetize into a folder, and then dragged that folder into the Finder. The Finder alphabetizes the bookmarks; you can then just drag the folder back into the Bookmarks window. You probably have to set the Finder to arrange files by name before it will work. Hope this helps!
[robg adds: When you drag the folder back, you'll now have two folders, the original and the sorted one. Just delete the original, and you're set. You can also do this without first creating a Safari folder. Just select all the bookmarks to be alphabetized, drag them into a new folder in the Finder, open that folder (make sure it's set to sort by name or use column view), then drag the now-sorted bookmarks back into Safari's Bookmarks window. Again, you'll have duplicates, so just delete the originals (which will be grouped above the newly-placed list). I wonder if any of this is scriptable...]"
If you're like me and you like to keep all of your bookmarks in folders in the Bookmarks bar, then from the Bookmarks window you would open the Bookmarks Bar in a window of its own before doing the above. -

The music app on my Iphone 5 is acting up, it keeps skipping songs and wont allow the to play. You can see the music icon the on notification bar play and pause. When i go back to the app is states the url is not responding. I have restored it from the backed up cloud save. It is the music app, I played music on pandora and it worked fine. I think it must be the app or the ios.
restore with itunes not from an itunes backup or cloud save they do absolutely nothing only a clean restore will solve your problem

I have 3 iTunes libraries on my one one computer and since I updated to the new version I can no longer see who's library I am in. It used to show at the top of iTunes the name of the library I was in. Is there a way I can tell which library I am in without closing and reopening?
No. Frequently the apps take up more storage space on the iPod that the file download size.

In my Macbook Pro, on a few occassions, the apple menu bar blacks out. its displayed as a negative image. The desktop wallpaper get greyed out and i get a blank screen as wallpaper. No idea why this happens. I reset the system and issue gets resolved.

How can I get the amount of free space that is on my drive to show at the bottom of the drive in Lion.

Please help!Right click on your desktop and choose "viewer options". Adjust the spacing and the size of your icons and you should be able to see the size of your drive(s) and the free space available on each drive with the exception of your bootcamp drive which will only show the overall size of the drive you have it on. This may be different if you only have one system drive (like on a Mac Book Pro) with a partition containing bootcamp on it. this may only show you the overall capacity, I can't say for sure though as I only use a Mac Pro with 4 seperate Hard Drives which are showing both overall capacity and free space available. I have just bought an appleTV. I can't find the mirroring button on my toolbar, however I can mirror using Itunes, I have searched in systempreferences -> Displays but it won't show me the Device. I have already tried restarting the router, appleTv and Imac. What am I doing wrong?

When I try to include a white and black photo in a iMovie the result is a black totaly black picture which does not show in the movie. Why? Can it be fixed?
The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Other than that, what version of iPhoto do you have? Assuming 09 or later try
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Yahoo is my home page and News, Sports, Business categories/links changed and now shows a few sentences after each main URL link/topic. How do I put it back to show just the URL links/topics without having to scroll down and down the page. All the extra sentences after the links causes too much scrolling to view the topics.
Those steps did not solve my problem. Here is an example of what I see although it's not exact copy/paste. All I want to see are the links but I get all the verbiage after the links
