Can I change the HDL for the USRP N210 FPGA to use only I part of data, not I/Q

Hi all,
While using the USRP N210, we've run into a slight roadblock. We're using UHD's rx_samples_to_file and are able to receive at 20 Msps for 2 minutes using 8-bit complex integer (sc8) over-the-wire format without dropping any samples, but we'd like to receive at a faster data rate, preferably using 16-bit complex integers. We don't really need the Q part of the data, just the I part. So, in addition to using a faster hard drive for the computer and (if we have to) sacrificing half the data bits (using sc8 instead of sc16), we thought about altering the HDL code to only use the I part of the data to help us increase the data rate.
Is this even possible/plausible? How would you suggest going about accomplishing this? Ultimately, our goal is to receive at a faster data rate. Do you have any other ideas?

Hi mgarey,
While you may find some other UHD users in these forums who can help the best bet is probably to send your question to [email protected] since they are much more experienced in UHD troubleshooting. I don't think you'll be able to edit the FPGA itself but there may be a way to pull back just the I data, I can't say I've tried either one myself though.

Can't change DVD region for the last time?

I wish to change the DVD region setting on my emac and have one more left from the 5 changes allowed but when I try to change it, it comes up with an alert along the lines of "There was a problem changing the region on your drive." How can I resolve this? It is a newish 1.25ghz Superdrive model.

I also am having this problem, was told to restart and hold down Alt Apple, P & R at the same time and wait for 3 dongs, and try to change region again, but did not work, I am stuck on region 1 need to change to region 2, the same problem it will be the last change.

I don't know the password for the SMTP account so as to mail photos. How can I retrieve or change the password?

Have you set the general preferences in iPhoto to email using iPhoto? Then change it to email using "Mail". This way iPhoto will use your regular Mail account.

As long as you have a form of payment (credit or debit card) with a USA source, and with a billing address in the USA, then you just need to change your payment information on your account to that, change your country in the store settings, and you will then be able to shop in the USA store.
Your AppleID will work in any country's store, as long as your payment source and billing addres are also specific to that country (and you are in that country as well, as there may be IP filters in place to stop use outside of the country).

Assuming that User has already his/her user-id and password, and now he/ she wants to change it.
select the client and provide Log-in credentials. Now, instead of 'ENTER' there is one Tab: 'New Password' (up, left hand). Click it.
Now, system will ask for new password to change.
If you are asking from Basis point of view, then T.code: SU01 - User Maintenance.
Enter User's id and Click Change icon.
It will lead to Page: Maintain User.
Here, Select tab: Logon Data
There is a Sub-Tab: Password.
Here, key-in change password and SAVE.
For Language and Date format, contact your Basis-Personnel.

I found one other way to do it. I just deleted them all out of my iTunes library. Now I can re-import them from Window's My Music file with the original artists' names intact.

i bought a printer all in one in mexico border, this had a 122 cartridges, but now i bought a new cartridges 61 in texas.
i install it but when i send to print appear a error that show "Non compatible cartridges", so i check them in HP site, the numbers are different like mexico and US, but the HP part number are the same for both, so i try to fix the problem i found a solution tha say that required change the region for the printer.
How can i do this?

You will have to contact HP to have the region for yourr printer changed. A representative will explain how to do it.
