Can I change the size of my iphoto book, when I am ready, but changed the wrong size
Hallo,
after several weeks work with my iphoto book, I discover, that I choosed the wrong size.
I choosed the size- "large book" instead of XL book 33x31 cm .
Can I change or have I do do the work twice.

select the book in the source pane on the left and duplicate it (command-D) and then click on the themes button and select the new size/style/theme -- closely inspect the book to be sure it is still correct (text may reflow due to size changes as may photo arrangement) - preview (

This is book # 13 and I've not encountered this problem before. I am dragging photos into the sourse pane but they are not imported. i am trying to update the software on my ipad from 4.2 to 4.3.3 but i cannot get it to download. I get an error message that says the software was unable to download because the network timed out. I have tried to download it 7 or 8 different times and still get the same message. I cannot restore the factory settings either. The same thing happens. Does anyone have any suggestions? It did this when trying to update to 4.2. I don't remember how we were able to get the software to update. Thanks.

When I was ready to place the order for my iPhoto book, I realized that it was for a soft cover book and I wanted hard cover. How can I change this without losing my prepared book?
Duplicate your book and try to change the theme in the copy. Chnaging the theme may change the layout of your text fileds. That is why you need the copy to be able to compare the pages before and after.
Ctrl-click the book in the Source list and select "Duplicate".
Click the "Change Theme" button in the upper right corner of the Book pane, make sure, you have the same theme selected and the same size. Click Hardcover. -

In the Creative Cloud Application you can change in Preferences the App language. Then you can download and install additional the other language.
With Photoshop you can now go to Preferences > User Interface and switch between all installed and available languages. -

as I deleted by mistake a copy of it on my iphotoI know the horse is out of the barn but this tutorial might be of help for future books: iP12 - Archiving an iPhoto 9 (11) Book for Editing and/or Ordering at a Later Date.
If you're starting over from scratch with a book I suggest you create a new library just for that book. Put the photos you want in the book in an album in your current library and use the paid version of iPhoto Library Manager to copy that album into the book library.
This will keep the book library small for easy saving to CD or DVD or to an EHD. If you delete photos from your full library it won't affect the book library.

Zoom out.
There are not settings to control the image quality, the device always takes the largest image possible. Zooming in will cause the image to be a lower resolution. -

Change one bloody value and the prototype changes in the TestStand step... Reload the prototype and guess what happens??!!??

I am not not very famous with LV and its cluster types.
So no idea if this works (it works for DataTypes updates very well and a LV cluster is Data Type so.... maybe)
Make a copy of the step that has to be modified to an new sequencefile.
Make modifications the in the copy.
Now you should have the same DataType Name but other contents in the container. Save it.
Normally there should be a message box that tells you that version has been incremented. - Accept it.
Set in StationOptions-File "Allow Automatic ...." to Never.
Open original sequencefile. Now the there must be a type conflict. Accept/Apply to all "Use Current Loaded.."
You have updated the type.....

I have Mavericks on my iMac and the latest version of iPhoto 9.5.1 (902.17) but no book, card, calendar, album, slideshow, print and order prints options under Share, which still shows Set Desktop. Any ideas please?

This is my first go at this so be kind,
My question concerns launchpad. Coming from Snow Leopard I had been using spaces. I like to keep certain bundles of programs on separate desktops, for example all word processing related tasks in one place. I have set up the equivalent on Yosemite.
My problem is concerns the loss of exposé. Now I know when you swipe into launch pad you get a very similar effect but the issue I am having concerns the "zoom out" effect when you swipe into launchpad. With exposé all open apps/pages etc would be fully exposed - in my case several (sometimes as many as 9 word documents). What I am running into is when I do this in / into launch pad the "pile" of docs is exposed but they are still overlapping so I can't get a good look at which is which and visually identify where I want to navigate to.
My question is this; Is there a way to adjust the settings on launchpad so that when I swipe into it all the open apps/pages are fully separated (like in exposé) so that I can fully view all of them simultaneously? If so, instructions on how to do so would be greatly appreciated. Any alternative suggestions to doing this outside of launchpad are also welcome. If there is an exposé app for example, I would be quite willing to go that route.
My main concern is being able to quickly (ie a touchpad gesture) expand all the open pages so I can bounce between them.

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.

how can i stop an error message that comes up when i am using word? the error message is "word is unable to save the Autorecover file in the location specified. Make sure that you have specified a valid location for Autoreover files in Preferences,…"
It sounds like if you open Preferences in Word there will be a place where you can specify where to store autorecover files. Right now it sounds like it's pointing to somewhere that doesn't exist.

i have tried this 6+ times to "How to share music between different accounts on a single computer" on my wifes mac and can not get it to work!! On my PC no problem but on the MAC it will not work, follow the instructions to the T but no go????
It is almost as if the program does not exist on my computer. If I search for it, the only thing that comes up is the installer. I cannot find it anywhere despite the fact I have installed it numerous times, uninstalled it and conducted a fresh install, and the Adobe website checks says that it is installed.

I ran an iTunes update. It failed with the message "System Error. The program can't start because MSVCR80.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I tried reinstalling but get the same message. I looked in my Recycle Bin for that file name but there is none there. Is this a new file that iTunes wants?
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

an error occurred uploading my iPhoto Book order. It puts the book together and starts to send but at the very last moment comes up with an error message. but checking the book in iPhoto there are no problems to be found.

Just got off the phone with apple support. If the photo book completes the assembly process but fails during the upload process the problem is in their overloaded servers.They just started a free shipping promotion for the holidays which has increased the traffic dramatically. I bought a calendar a week ago and it went right through. I'm going to try again during less peak times.
