Help!

You will need that old Apple ID and password, which does indeed still exist. Apple doesn't delete Apple IDs, though if this ID was in the control of your company they may have changed the password. If so, you will need your former company to log into the iCloud account using that ID and password and erase the iPad or remove it from iCloud:

Until that's done you cannot change those settings, and if you try to restore the iPad will have it locked with Activation Lock and thereafter be unusable.

There is no way that I know of within the native iPad email app. You might want to search the app store for a third party app that lets you change fonts if this is important.

Can I changed the quality of YouTube videos on the iPad? When I watch them on my computer they load fine on the 480p setting, but when using the iPad it always loads 720p, my connection is not fast enough to load 720p at peek hours; as I get throttled. This just ends with the video loading 10 seconds then becoming choppy and stopping, this repeats and a 10 minute video can take almost an hour to watch! This defeats the point of the iPad for me as I have to sit back at my desk to watch YouTube videos, and that being the main point of me buying it - it's kind of an issue for me. Any help or information on this would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Yes I am aware that when I connect to YouTube via my mobile data connection it changes the quality. But it makes it so poor it's hardly worth watching, plus I have a 5gb allowance and prefer to save that for when I am on the move. So I assume there is no way to change the quality when on WiFi...

Can not change user filed in CR Viewer

I am using Crystal Reports 2011 and i created a user field. i opened the report in CR viewer 2008 and the change filed is greyed out and the user can not change the field. I have tried saving the report with out a date saved in the report to see if viewer will prompt for a date but the report will not let me take it out now that it is set. i have checked options on the filed and it is set to editable. Is there something i am over looking? How can i get the user fields to work in crystal reports viewer?

viewer 2008 is the only thing i can find right now, i thought that might be the problem but i can not find a 2011 to download so i assumed they dont have it available yet.
the report does work in CR2011 but we can not get CR for everyone, and they are not going to use it, they only need viewer if it will work.
the parameter is a date field based off a database field.

Your frend does not have the right/lience to give the music to you. You should delete that music.
If he set up the iPod with his iTunes account you should restore the iPod from a backup of the iPod that should be on your computer. That will delete his music but restore your settings.

I have performed a test in my lab and found that the way which you want to manage the user account is possible when system is in Workgroup; but when system is joined to domain you don’t get the required management panel. You will only get panel as per your
1st snap.

Go to "Setting"; scroll down to the 4th box for "iCloud"; You need to turn on you "Mail" option in the "iCloud" settings.
Then,
Go into "Settings", scroll down to "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"; on the left panel, scroll down to the 4th box; there you'll find the "Default Account" settings.

Can't change user preferences when Acting As a user

I've configured the 'Act As' functionality so as an administrator (Proxy User) I can log in as another user. However when I attempt to change any of target user's preferences I get the following message :-
"Exception occurred when saving user preferences to the catalog access denied for user to path /users/[email protected]/_prefs/userprefsxmlstore"
Proxy Level is set at full for all users.
I've tried changing the permissions on the users folders via the Catalog manager but doesn't seem to make any difference.
Any help would be great!

Because i use servlet, which use the user id as "nobody".
The user id "nobody" have no any permission at all, otherwise i can not grant it any permission for question of safe. and it's root path as "/"(the root path of unix),and it havn't profile to config env.
so i wanna change my user id to "informix"(because i use informix DB),to use the utility of it.
can i try it by "Runtime.exec()"
or use Korn Shell to do it ?

Do you know of the "setuid" feature of UNIX?
You could write a command (a program) which is in the possession of the user "informix" and which hast the "x" and "s" bits on; that is, which is executable and which runs in its owner's security context (rather than in that of the user running it).
The most convenient thing would be to do this for a shell script.
Out of security reasons, however, shell scipts "s" (=setuid) bits are usually not honoured.

I have several user accounts on my mac to handle several companies that I do business with. I often work on several projects at the same time. I was wondering if I start a transcode in Encore while logged in as one user, can I switch to another user account to do work and then switch back to the user account that has Encore transcoding without doing damage to the transcode?
I'm sure several multitaskers out here are interested in doing this as well.
