Even simpler than that....read the Apple bulletin...it's a good summary.
Basically if you move your domain file to another location, all you have to do is double-click on it to launch iWeb. From that moment on, iWeb will remember the location of this "default" domain file, until either you move it or you "bless" another domain file as the default by the same method.

If so, the client connect will be able to find the ORE server when you connect to the database using ore.connect:
R> ore.connect(user = "username", sid = "database sid", host = "hostname/database server", password = "user password", all=TRUE).
During the ORE installation on the server, we lay down software bits on the OS, install a schema into the database, plus add some libraries to $ORACLE_HOME.

Had to install a new version of iTunes after an upgrade to 64Bit Windows, when i got itunes to search for content it only found the sample music, my music is stored on D drive and i cant work out how to get itunes to search there, any suggestions?
Thanks in advance, its really annoying!You can use File > Add folder to library to import the media from any location. If you don't see the menu bar press ALT or CTRL+B to display it. The default options for iTunes will have created a new library folder on the C: drive, and adding media in the way described will result in iTunes making new copies of each of your media files in the C:\ drive. If that's not what you want then I suggest you hold down the shift key as you click the icon to start iTunes and keep holding until asked to choose or create a library, click the create option, and create a libray at D:\iTunes. Move your existing media content into D:\iTUnes\iTunes Media and use File > Add folder to library to import D:\iTUnes\iTunes Media. This will make a self-contained portable library that is easy to backup & move in future.

I want to put those on an external disk.You must do this within iMovie.
In iMovie, click VIEW/GROUP EVENTS BY DISK
This will show all properly formatted external disks (must by HFS+ journalled, not FAT32)
Now you can drag your Events to the disk by dragging and dropping the Event Name to the icon of the disk in the Event Source List in iMovie.

where can I change the font settings for the name of the month in iPhoto's calendar project? I just ordered two copies of a calendar I designed in iPhoto and was surprised to find that the calendar's months were printing in something like an Arial 10 pt font. On previous calendars I've printer via iPhoto and Apple, the font was much larger. I've tried every menu option in iPhoto and the Calendar Project program and can't find where this is modifyable. Which leads me to ask, what the heck happened here in the first place? I did not consciously change the default.
I do remember that I got some notice when I first tried to print the calendar about the default font having been changed, but I don't know how this could have happened, and I didn't know what impact that had on the calendar until it was delivered. I typically print about a dozen annual calendars but won't buy another until I've got a handle on this problem. For the most part, the rest of the calendar is okay.
As a P.S. is there anywhere where one can get a power user's manual, or instruction on iPhoto?

(It could be a different matter if you are uploading the jpeg files for someone to download from the web to print.)
What are the sequence of steps that you and your batch processing take from Bridge?
You can use call Photoshop's Image Processor from Bridge to create the jpeg files (Tools > Photoshop > Image Processor). In the Image Processor you can set jpeg compression, pixel dimensions if desired, also convert to sRGB (good idea for web display). In my experience the image processor leaves unchanged whatever dpi is set in the source file; or, if none there as might be for a pdf, it will set the dpi value in your New Document Preset Print Resolution (from your Photoshop Units & Rulers preferences). -
The backup files for my devices are saved to my internal hard drive. I have a small internal hard drive and would like them to be saved to an external drive. How can I change where iTunes automatically backs up to?
This has nothing to do with iTunes as iTunes provides no way to move or relocate the backup files.
A search of google or the fourms would reveal ways to create a folder link to relocate the physical location where the files are stored. -
Where to look for the computed stats collected using gather_table_stats
I have used analyze command before but new to gather_table_stats.
I have executed gather_table_stats procedure as given below. Now where to look for the statistics estimated and also what are the important parameters I need to look in the stats ? Any major difference between analyze & gather_table_stats ?

PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.The command "analyze table" is deprecated for gathering optimizer statistics. But it is still the only command to get for instance the chained rows. This command is no longer maintained for new features, so if you use this command to collect statistics, it might not collect all needed numbers for the optimizer so the plan could be wrong.
The package dbms_stats is collecting all the figures that the optimizer needs to genererate an optimal access plan. All new database features are incorporated only here.
The statistics numbers can be found in the normal tables like USER|ALL|DBA_TABLES, ...TAB_COLUMNS, ...INDEXES, ...IND_COLUMNS etc. There you can find for instance number of rows in table, clustering factor for indexes and more numbers like this. They are not really needed for us human beings, they are used by the optimizer to generate the access plan. -
Where to Look for Crash Causes
Hi,
G5 for 3 years; rock solid. Don't recall installing anything unusual (other than Apple SW updates) but twice now in the last week I have retunred to the system after being at work to find screen turned off and fans at full pelt. In the early days when I had a couple of kernel panics I knew where to look for the logs. I havce investigated every log (from System Profiler) for both of these "meltdowns" but can't find any reference at all.
How do I go about pinpointing the cause?

Now, a couple of weeks ago I installaed a Lacie PCI Firewire 800 card and attached three Lacie FW 800 drives (previously these were all daisy-chained off the one FW 800 port on the G5 and have worked without issue for two to three years).
Could these messages be a cause of the crash? Anybody know what they might mean?

Now, a couple of weeks ago I installaed a Lacie PCI Firewire 800 card and attached three Lacie FW 800 drives (previously these were all daisy-chained off the one FW 800 port on the G5 and have worked without issue for two to three years).
Could these messages be a cause of the crash? Anybody know what they might mean?

(I am running my app by creating a myapp.war file and placing it in autodeploy folder)Try moving your class to a named package and use the appropriate import statement in your JSP. Loading it from WEB-INF/classes/packagename should be fine so you might want to remove the other classpath mods you made to eliminate that uncertainty.

That depends, at least in part, on which platform you're. [That and the exact version of Premiere Pro you have are two data points that you should always include...]
On Windows, Premiere has an effect called Lens Distortion. I'm not sure what your options are on Mac. If someone else doesn't come along with suggestions for Mac, then Googling "'Premiere Pro" mac fisheye GoPro" yields some promising hits. -

i just bought an iPad from a friend. I think is generation 1 or 2 not sure where to look for this. Bottom line, I would like to update it to iOS7. Is this possible? It does not have the option for software update.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 7.0.4. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.
You can no longer update to iOS 6.x, or down grade the iOS.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and antivirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
Tip 2 - If you're updating via wifi, place your iPad close to your router to preclude getting a corrupted download.
How to Upgrade to iOS 7
The iOS 7.0 update requires around 2.5 GB of storage space, so if your iPad is almost full, you may need to clear up some space. You can check your available space in Settings -> General -> Usage.
There are two ways to upgrade to iOS 7: You can use your Wi-Fi connection, or you can connect your iPad to your PC and update through iTunes. We'll go over each method.
To upgrade using Wi-Fi:
Note: If your iPad's battery is under 50%, you will want to plug it into your charger while performing the update.
Go into the iPad's Settings.
Locate and tap "General" from the menu on the left.
The second option from the top is "Software Update". Tap this to move into the update settings.
Tap "Download and Install". This will start the upgrade, which will take several minutes and will reboot your iPad during the process. If the Download and Install button is grayed out, trying clearing up some space. The space required by the update is mostly temporary, so you should gain most of it back after iOS 7 is installed.
Once the update is installed, you may have to run through the initial steps of setting up your iPad again. This is to account for new features and settings.
To upgrade using iTunes:
First, connect your iPad to your PC or Mac using the cable provided when you purchased your device. This will allow iTunes to communicate with your iPad.
You will also need the latest version of iTunes. Don't worry, you will be prompted to download the latest version when you launch iTunes. Once it installs, you may be asked to setup iCloud by logging into your iTunes account. If you have a Mac, you may be prompted on whether or not you want to enable the Find my Mac feature.
Now you are ready to begin the process:
If you upgraded iTunes earlier, go ahead and launch it. (For many, it will launch automatically when you plug in your iPad.)
Once iTunes is launched, it should automatically detect that a new version of the operating system exists and prompt you to upgrade to it. Choose Cancel. Before updating, you will want to manually sync your iPad to make sure everything is up to date.
After canceling the dialog box, iTunes should automatically sync with your iPad.
If iTunes doesn't automatically sync, you can manually do it by selecting your iPad within iTunes, clicking on the File menu and choosing Sync iPad from the list.
After your iPad has been synced to iTunes, select your iPad within iTunes. You can find it on the left side menu under Devices.
From the iPad screen, click on the Update button.
After verifying that you want to update your iPad, the process will begin. It takes a few minutes to update the operating system during which time your iPad may reboot a few times.
After updating, you may be asked a few questions when your device finally boots back up. This is to account for new settings and features.
