Can I combine libraries in iTunes Match?

I have had iTunes Match in the past, but let it lapse. I was mostly using it as a repository for downloaded CDs (my husband and I have many in our music collection, but only listen to music digitally now).
I have two apple IDs... This stems from an issue as a MobileMe user, and it's irked me for years since moving to the cloud. Thus, I have music under two Apple IDs. Apple says there is no way to combine all into one ID.
If I were to use iTunes Match, would there be a way to upload my music from my one Apple ID and access it from the other?? I'm just trying to think through ways of getting everything in one place. I would certainly pay the subscription again if this would work.

You can only use one Apple ID with match. Read this iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID. The drawback is that you cannot not associate device with another Apple ID.
i would suggest that you add all music to one library and authorize the computer Authorize your Mac or PC using iTunes.
You would need to use one Apple ID for you music purchases.

Tried it out and works a treat. Great if you have a large library on an external drive and then want to have your tunes "On the Go". Simply create a new library "On the Go", then sign on to Match and you can download or play the tracks you want on the go. Excellent for a Netbook, with limited drive space.

Is it giving you a specific error number? And what kind of network connection do you have?
One thing you might try is a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset. Not sure it would help, but it will not hurt.

You have a couple of options for transferring your music library from one computer to another. First, you can download all of your music that is stored in the cloud on iTunes Match by following the instructions on this page:

You can follow steps listed in the section right here:
Play or download songs from iCloud
You can play songs directly from iCloud, or you can download songs so you can play them when you’re not connected to the Internet.
If a song is available in iCloud, it has a Download button next to it.
To play the song, double-click it.
To download the song, click the Download button.
After you download a song to a computer, it remains in the computer’s iTunes library, even if you turn off iTunes Match.
To only display downloaded songs in your iTunes library, choose View > Hide Music in the Cloud. This also hides any previous iTunes Store purchases you haven’t downloaded.
For information about downloading and playing songs on an iOS device, see the documentation for the device.
In order to make it easier to download all of your music, you can highlight all of the songs in your iTunes Match section and then click download, as mentioned in these instructions.

Unless you have an Internet connection you cannot access iCloud. You can download your music from iCloud to store permanently on your iPhone, but only when you have an Internet connection to do so.

'Titles' are short texts; a) because a TV is no 'Kindle' b) video, by standards offers a sub-optimal resolution/'quality'.
Although, you can apply 'bigger chunks' of text as a picture:
if your word-processor in use allows 'export page as jpg', use that.
for example, Keynote/iWork creates beautiful designed 'charts'
text made in Keynote
export as jpg
imported to iMovie
applying Ken Burns would allow 'scrolling text' with pictures.
keep in mind:
a video-screen is 2nd-best for reading longer texts.
and, again, 'video' isn't meant for reading either.
avoid serif typo, avoid tiny typo, avoid high contrast (red on white), avoid low contrast (grey on black).

Yes. By enabling iTunes Match on each computer, each library will be scanned and the Songs will be Matched or Uploaded to the cloud.

I can't get rid of iTunes match

Hi everyone,
I have a rather strange problem with my iTunes match. After having it for about two years my subscription recently expired and I did not renew it. I don't know if I have to defend my decision, but basically what it boils down to is that I usually have all the music I want to listen to on my phone anyway, and for other music there is a bunch of alternative streaming services that allow me to access large libraries including music that I don't actually own.
Anyway, I just didn't renew the subscription and thought I was done with it. But wait, there is more. First of all, the cloud icon did not disappear from my library, only upon turning off match in the iTunes store the cloud was gone. A minor inconvenience. The bigger problem is, that since my subscription expired, I can no longer add music to my phone. While being subscribed to iTunes match that was not really a problem since I would just download the song i wanted to listen to, but now without that option, i simply can not put any music on my phone. All I see in the music tab in iTunes when syncing my phone is a message stating "iTunes match is on" and something about voicerecordings.
So I tried to turn off match in the preferences, but no luck, there actually isn't even an option, the only mention of match is "renew subscription" (I was almost tempted to do that, but after clicking on the link all that opened was a white page with no content).
I tried to find a solution online, like deleting all music manually (great, now I have no music on my phone at all) and signing out of your account in the app/itunes store preferences (that changed the link in the music preferences from "renew" to "subscribe", but still directs to a white page).
So now I'm stuck not being able to put ANY music on my phone. Does anybody have a similar problem? Or even better, a solution?

First trouble shooting step is to sign out of the iTunes Store on the device, restart the device, and sign back in. This will generally clear up the problem.

How can i report a corrupted itunes match song?

Several of the songs in my iTunes library matched successfully, but the tracks from iTunes Match are corrupted. So, they're fine on my iMac (ripped from my CD), but messed up on my mobile devices (downloaded from iCloud). I don't see a specific category in the Apple Feedback pages for iTunes or iCloud to report a botched song in their database. Anyone know the correct procedure to report this so Apple's team can replace their master copy with a fresh one?

I did report this issue, but judging from the many posts on this, Apple hasn't paid any attention. Busy folks these days, I guess! For the most part, iTunes Match works very well. It's not a big deal to have a few tracks botched as long as you retain your original on your main system. It IS a big deal for people who are trying to upgrade their old original song files by trashing their main libraries and restoring from iTunes Match, because then you can't fall back to your old version when Apple's song file turns out corrupted! I posted a suggestion about that on the other link.
The more users bug Apple to setup a quick way to report specifically corrupted files found in either the iTunes Store or the iTunes Match database (not necessarily the same), the more likely they'll do something about it. Crowd-sourced Q/A for Apple!

Can i share the same iTunes Match account across my iMac and my MacBook?

I recently subscribed to iTunes Match and am in the process of uploading my entire collection of files from my home iMac into the Cloud. This works fine for my iPhone and iPad, but not for my MacBook (which I use at work). Every time I try to 'Turn on iTunes Match' on the laptop (which has no music files on it), it says 'only one library can be matched at a time. If you continue, the other iTunes Match session will be stopped and this computer's library will be matched instead.
I'm worried that if I press 'Add computer' on my laptop, it'll undo all the work I did on my home iMac (it took days as I have so many music files). Can iTunes Match be use across TWO Apple computers? It seems to be asking me to choose between one or the other.

Have you finished adding match from your imac. If so, wait until this is complete before using it on you MacBook.
If you have, you should not be getting the massage about matching only one library at a time. However, if you do select to continue, it wll not undo what you have already done.
Do you have any different music on your MacBook? If so, this will be added to your match library. You will see all your matched / uploaded music on your MacBook as it does on your iPhone or ipad.
If the match process had not complete on your imac, it will continue until complete.
Essentially, you can only match one library at a time.
