Can I configure csm as one arm and routing mode at the same time?

My csm currently is configured as the routing mode and bridge mode, resently I have a service requirement which I think the one arm mode should be the best resolution. Can anybody let me know if there will be any affect if I add the one arm mode to the currently production environment?

Thanks for your quick response. I notice you have same opinion about the one arm mode in your other post, but I think in the multi-tire data center design with fw in bridge mode and csm in one arm mode with RHI, do give us a lot of flexibilty. If I use policy routing instead of source nat, can I overcome these limit you metioned?
Do you know who csm could handle the TFTP traffic? I may have too much question, I am realy looking for your suggestion.

If I may add a qualification: on a device running full Windows 8, you may have both Adobe Reader Touch and Adobe Reader (normal desktop edition). This does not apply to the primitive devices which cannot run desktop apps (running "Windows RT"), and while I may be wrong, I believe that the Surface 2 is such a device.

A database can work only in one mode at a time.
If the database is started in Dedicated Mode then it can not run in the Shared Mode. If you need to run it in the Shared Mode, bring down the Database , change DISPATCHERS, SHARED_SERVER, SHARED_SERVER_SESSIONS parameters in initfile and bring up the database to run it in Dedicated Mode.
But there is one catch here, if you have started the database in Shared Server Mode even then you can make a Dedicated connection to server.

Can I use Lightroom on my mac and my pc at the same time with only one subscription?

for five months now I have a Creative Cloud subscription for Lightroom and Photoshop. Till now I was just using it on my PC. Now I've bought me a MAC and would like to install Lightroom on the MAC either. Do I need a second subscription for MAC or can I use my subscription on the MAC and PC simultaneously?

If you are asking if you can be running the subscription software on the two machines at the same time, the answer to that is no. Per your license you can only be using one of the installations at a given time.
If you are asking if you can have the software installed and capable of being used on both machines then the answer is yes... you just cannot have both machines in use running the subscription software at the same time.

yes - the built-in music app allows to select one speaker only at the same time.
now i've found the WHAALE Multiroom Player App (http://www.whaale.com) - and it sends directly from the iOS Device to my 6 AirPlay speakers. One of them is an Apple TV...
all "in sync" and without any special hardware and additional software.
And i am able to stream different songs to different rooms...
Just AirPlay speakers - wifi router - WHAALE -> that's easy :-)

Can I use BOTH Verizon DSL Wireless AND DISHnet Wireless at the same time?

Waiting for Dishnet contract to die and rot away but about 2 months to go. Want to get with Verison Standard DSL Wireless as no data cap tho slower.
I can just wait till Dishnet dies and keep bumping into data caps with the Dish service OR can I get the DSL setup and use one connex for the iMac and one for the iPad without any conflicts?
I am so ignorant of technology that I see a Swing-a-Way hand crank can opener as a marvel of industrial magic,....so please talk simple words to me, :-)

Sign up for the fastest DSL package that you can. Even if the overall speed is slower, the fact that you won't be going over a satellite connection anymore should make the Internet *that* much faster. The Wireless Gateway should come included.
You can use both services at once, although note that determining how you plan to use both at the same time is going to be another story. Some people use Dual WAN routers (as in, routers that accept two Internet connections and can balance between the two). Others will use the connections separately, by moving devices between the two connections as needed.

When trying to connect a second wireless laptop to my network, the one already connected gets disconnected. I'm using a WRT110 router(cable connection) that I bought 5 days ago, and two laptops with Win Vista. I don't have any PC wired connected.

First thing which you need to do is upgrade the firmware of your Router. Go to website linksysbycisco.com/downloads... ......insert model no of your router in serach tab......select proper version of your router........download the firmware file......save that file on desktop..
Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware on the device : -
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on a computer hard wired to the router...
In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1...Leave the Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...
Click on the 'Administration' tab- Then click on the 'Firmware Upgrade' sub tab- Here click on 'Browse' and browse the .bin firmware file and click on "Upgrade"...
Wait for few seconds until it shows that "Upgrade is successful" After the firmware upgrade, click on "Reboot" and you will be returned back to the same page OR it will say "Page cannot be displayed".
Now reset your router :
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...
Once you configure all the settings on your router... here are some wireless settings which you can set on your Router and i think this might make your both the wireless computers go Online...

Change the Wireless security mode to WEP, Encryption should be 64 bit.Leave the passphrase blank, don't type in anything...Under WEP Key 1 type in any 10 numbers please(numbers only and no letters eg: your 10 digit phone number) and click on save settings...
Please make a note of WEP Key 1 as this is the Security Key for the Wireless Network...
Click on Advanced Wireless Settings
Change the Beacon Interval to 75 >>Change the Fragmentation Threshold to 2304, Change the RTS Threshold to 2304 >>Click on "Save Settings"...
Now see if you can locate your Wireless Network and attempt to connect...

Can I use an Airport express "G" and a "N" at the same time.

The "G" is to be used to send Itunes to my receiver; the "N" to be used in the "bridge mode" to, via ethernet, bring internet to my TV?
Both being used inconjunction with an Airport Extreme dual-band "N" model.

I have the newest Airport Extreme and I have two AE G's. One AE is connected to a set of desktop speakers for Airplay in my bedroom and the other is in my livingroom connected to my stereo. Both work perfectly! The stereo system in the livingroom is an LG and it has a feature for watching Netflix. It has it's own USB WiFi, still it works perfectly when watching movies via Netflix. I do not have an ATV, so I do not know how it would work with it, still I can't imagine that the ATV would not give me the same great results as I get with the WiFi in the LG.
So, it seems to me that the two AE G's do not affect the Airport Extreme's ability to function at N speeds.
PS, you can find AE G's fairly inexpensive.

I would like to have a bridge-mode context but in the same time I would like to have a separated OOB interface for management.
If it is possible how they could interact to each other?

We've just tried to configure bridged and routed interfaces at the same time in the lab and we've had a problem.
When we added the def gw for the bridged config we noticed that we had an issue with the traffic src by the rservers in the routed config.
When we deleted the new def gw, the problem disappeared.
I am attaching the lab config.
When we added to it the following line
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.1.1.163
reals B1-B10 could not communicate to the outside world.
Do you know why it does not worked and what could we do to fix it ?

Can Motion 5 replace a green screen and blue screen in the same shot? I would like to replace a green screen with one image, and a blue screen with another.

Fox gives a good example for keying green & blue (or any other color) from the same shot. I'd suggest doing a few things to get better accuracy.
First, the motion keyer always removes the color it detects the most of by default (blue/green). You can override this by setting the Strength parameter to zero, then use the Color sample tool to select the color you want. The advantage is motion will do a good job of targeting only the hue (color) that you want to remove and set an appropriate starting softness. It also will remove spill based on this color. Looking at Fox's example movie and the shot, I'd approach the same shot this way:
Remove the Blue
1. Apply the keyer and set the strength to zero.
2. Use the Sample Color tool and select the blue (or other color) to be removed.
3. Decrease the spill level (if needed). In Fox's example the spill from the blue glasses is going to be minimal, especially compared to the green screen, your shot may need different adjustments. Only de-spilling what you need to will give you more accurate color right away and minimize additional color correction that might be needed later.
4. Use the Color selection tools (Chroma wheel/Luma bar) to fine tune. Ideally you want a minimal tolerance, the inner selection, with a nice fall off, the outer selection. Try with the Scrub boxes setting first, then switch to manual if you need more control. Again see Fox's example.
Remove Green
It's the same as the blue, you could apply the keyed to the same clip or a parent group, at this point it's many user preference.
With these techniques you can remove any color from a shot or create a mask based on a color. BTW, as you are learning to use the keyer I'd highly recommend having the Color Selection open so you can see the graphs. These give you real time feedback as you make selections and changes with the Strength, Refine and Color selection tools. Watch what happens as you make selection or changes, sometimes the problem area is actually in the brightness not the color, or the softness may change more than the tolerance selection. Observing what is happening in these graphs will help you figure out wha to change and speed things up.
