Can I configure 'SampleJSP' and 'URLScraper' channels on mobile client.

Channels are appearing on the mobile screen for selection but when selected and OK is clicked a message is displayed 'Entered text too long'.What could be the possible reason, I am calling a small wml file in URLScraper channel and small piece of wml code is written in JSP.

Have you checked if there is any feature you need to enable for this?

    Pay attention to differences in power connection depending on whether or not you have AppleTV2 or AppleTV 3.

  • Can we configure mirooring and log hsipping both DR in one database?

    Can we configure mirooring and log hsipping both DR in one database?
    If yes how it does work.
    Many Thanks
    Shashikala

    You
    CAN definitely use log shipping and mirroring at the same time. You can make use of log shipping to ship the log to a remote site for DR and have a database-mirroring, high-availability configuration locally. However, Sometimes it
    is a slight bit tiresome to set up log shipping going the other way once a failover has occurred, whereas mirroring is easy in that portion.
    Some DBA use this two together if you they have to use bulk-logged recovery model, since mirroring only uses the full recovery model and in another scenario in database mirroring, we cannot
    use mirroring database as reporting (cannot query) unless we don’t create snapshot out it, but in log shipping, the database is in standby mode so we can query if it is not being restored at the same time.

    Hi, everyone, I'm still on Logic 8))))So, have a question))I need to split a stereo audio file into two mono left and right channels, I could do it in audio editors, and somehow dunno how to do it in Logic...Anyone can help?

    Do a long click on the mono-stereo button of the audio track. From the flipmenu, choose L.
    Copy the Region to another track.
    From that other track's mono-stereo button flipmenu, choose R.
    Voila, direct access to left and right channels.

    I doubt it as when you start up the web applications they try and communicate with the databases, if they fail then the web app won't start up fully.

  • What can IT do to my phone with Zenprise Mobile Client

    My company has just announced that for continued access to company email from personal mobile devices such iPhones, that employees must install Zenprise mobile client.  I can't find very specific information on what capabilities this software provides IT, and my IT group is ignoring my questions.  What I can find out seems to indicate that my iPhone can be totallly wiped if they want, and that the software reports back what apps I have installed, and it allows the administrator to collect "personal data".
    I don't mind company policies requiring that I secure my device, and I don't mind them wiping just the company email if they think my phone is not secure or lost, but this application seems to go far beyond those points, giving them total control and me no privacy on my iPhone.  Does anyone have any more information on Zeprise?

    As KiltedTim said, if you have a corporate Exchange account on your iPhone, IT likely already has the ability to wipe the whole thing. With Zenprise, though, they will have the added ability to wipe corporate data and apps while leaving your personal stuff alone.
    Yes, Zenprise will allow greater visibility into your iPhone.  It will identify apps, tell them if the device is jailbroken, report on usage, etc.  It can block certain apps they deem undesirable, though I don't believe the current version can actually delete a specific app unless it is INSIDE the Zenprise "container".  No telling about the next release.  It can provide access to just about anything on the device.
    I would recommend you go through your boss and\or HR department to find out if there is an internal policy for what IT (Zenprise) will be allowed to do and not do.  Is IT restricted in any way by corporate policy or will they be able to exercise all of Zenprise's features as they see fit?  I'm an IT guy and we have employees sign a document which spells out exactly what they are accepting when we put corporate stuff on a privately-owned device.
    Once a company allows corporate data (email, documents, etc.) on a device, IT has a responsibility to keep it safe.  It may end up that the policy is "there is no expectation of privacy if corporate data is on the device and we reserve the right to do anything we want".  More likely, there may be no written policy, which is basically the same thing.
    The bottom line, though, is that IT will have the ability to do a lot of stuff using Zenprise (just like IT has the ability to see any photos, browser history, etc. on your corporate PC).  You will need to weigh whether you're satisfied with the company's policy covering your privacy or if it isn't worth having corporate email on your iPhone.

  • DNS / BIND  - Can I configure primary and standby forwarders?

    Hi all,
    I have on Solaris 10 (x86) a DNS server (BIND 9.3.6-P1) that relies exclusively on two “forwarders”: 155.28.144.13and 154.23.134.32.
    The configuration is as follow:
    # cat /etc/named.conf
    acl "CSClan" { 192.168.4.0/24; 192.168.7.0/24; }; //CSC internal LAN ip address range
    options {
            directory "/var/named";
            forward only;
            forwarders {
                    155.28.144.13;
                    154.23.134.32;
                 allow-query { "localnets"; };
    # cat /etc/resolv.conf
    nameserver 127.0.0.1
    When I check with snoop, I can see requests sometimes to one forwarder, sometimes to the other.
    Is it possible to configure DNS to use primarily one forwarder?
    Thanks in advance for your support.

    In 10g, dataguard started to support different binaries on primary and standby database servers with the same OS family. For example Microsoft Windows 64-bit on primary and Microsoft Windows 32-bit or Microsoft Windows 64-bit for AMD on standby database server. However with 11g, dataguard also supports different OS on primary and standby servers

  • Can I configure cluster and DAG on exchange 2013 Stander edition

    Dears,
    I have plan to make High availability on (exchange 2013 cluster), with M.S Hyper -V 2012,
    is possible to do that with Exchange 2013 Stander edition or not ?
    Thansk in advanced,

    Hi,
    DAGs are available in both Exchange 2013 Standard and Exchange 2013 Enterprise. In addition, a DAG can contain a mix of servers running Exchange 2013 Standard and Exchange 2013 Enterprise.
    Each member of the DAG must also be running the same operating system. Exchange 2013 is supported on the Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2012 R2 operating systems. All members of a specific DAG must run the same operating
    system. Windows Server 2012 R2 is supported only for DAG members that are running Exchange 2013 Service Pack 1 or later.
    For more details about this, you can refer to the following article.

    Hi,
    Telephony buttons in SAP IC WebClient are enabled/disabled/visible based
    on the capabilities list provided by the CTI subsystem.  Perhaps you are
    not in an appropriate state (such as not logged in) for Ready/Not-Ready
    to be visible, or you are having a problem with your CTI subsystem.
    Are you telephony or multi-channel enabled?  There are ways to confirm
    your configuration, especially if you are using MCIS (MultiChannel
    Integration Server), which supports IC WebClient, IC WinClient, and
    SAPphone through one server.
    Let me know if you need further help.

  • (Urgent) Where can find the code and documentations for ATG mobile  ?

    Hi there,
    We have a customer (Gome) which is implementing ATG products and ATG solution needs to support iPhone app as well. Due to the tight schedule, we are looking to have some reference modules to jump start our mobile module development and help us staying on the course of ATG best practices.
    Before we can find some open source ATG mobile code available on community.atg.com site as part of ATG program. However they can not find it now because community.atg.com was closed.
    Can anyone help on this ?
    J.K Liu

    The iPhone, Android, and mobile web solutions were previously provided via the ATG Catalyst program. As of the acquisition by Oracle a year ago, those offerings were withdrawn and are no longer available. Oracle has not provided any guidance as to whether they might be made available again, and if so, when and under what licensing guidelines.
    I'm afraid that you're on your own. Sorry!

  • Dynamic configuration of receiver communicaton channel?

    I have files, Header line tells which server it should go.(Like ip address and port). How can dinamically configure the receiver communication channel.
    Thank You
    Ganges Leaves

    Hi,
    I have very similar requirement, In my scenario I need to pick up files from 4 static locations and based on the file name and pick up type(file/ftp) I can find out the destination's connectivity information from a Cross-Referencing table(Based on MS-SQL Database table- I can get this using look API) in this table we maintaining more than 100 destinations(host/user_name/password etc).
    Now I need to set the connectivity information dynamically at runtime. I know this is not possible with Standard XI but does anyone thinks this is possible by any technical way using with XI.. Adapter Modules or Java Proxies?
    This is very Critical to win the war with other middleware tools. Please let me know your thoughts and comments...

  • New .TV (pets, recipe, etc.) and Viacom channels not in zap2it or Tivo guides

    So, it's been about a month since the new .tv channels came out and two days since the Viacom HD channels were introduced.  And zap2it.com, Tivo, etc. all still don't list ANY of the new channels in their programming guides.
    I've opened cases with Tivo.  With Zap2it.  With Verizon.  Everyone points fingers saying it's the other's fault.
    In the meantime, for the .TV channels that got added a while back, if you go to zap2it, or Tivo, you get "loor633" for channel name and "to be announced" for guide info for pets.tv.  You get "loor599" for Cars.tv.  You get "loor674" for MYDestination.tv.  Etc.
    And for the Viacom channels, you also get nothing.  Just blank space with "to be announced" for programming info.
    From what I understand, Verizon needs to tell Tribune that their channel lineup has changed.  And Tribune, Zap2it and Tivo all claim that Verizon hasn't done that.  Verizon, of course, is silent on the matter and the "fiber solutions center" says there is nothing they can do right now and that channel info for the .tv and Verizon channels might get added to online guides in a few MONTHS!?!?!?!?!?!?
    Why does this seem to be a problem with Verizon's lineup and no one else's?  When I had Dish, Zap2it would have updated listings within 2 hours of new channel additions.  When I had Charter, both Zap2it and Tivo had channel guide info for new channels usually the day BEFORE the channel was added.  But Verizon doesn't seem to provide Tribune with new channel info / guide data at all.
    Having had FIOS for less than two months, I'm not happy.  I'm almost certain the goal is for Verizon to get me to dump my lifetime Tivo service and instead pay them $15.99 for their DVR.  But trust me -- I'd rather go back to Charter first.
    Message Edited by skierrob2 on 06-24-2009 10:44 AM

    I do not understand why you folks are blaming Verizon for this. Please give me a moment to explain my theory.
    First of all, I have been for a long time a very dissatisfied user of the FiOS Guide data. So dissatisfied that late last year I sent an email to Verizon's CEO expressing my dissatisfaction, and providing examples and pointers to various forum threads discussing the problem. I received maybe 4 or 5 phone calls about the issue, no resolution, but I was told the procedure for the FiOS Guide was this:
    Each channel (say ESPN, whatever) develops the data, and sends it to FYI Television of Grand Prairie, TX (in the DFW area). FYI gathers the schedule info from all of the channel providers and once a day sends that data to Verizon. Verizon then inputs the data to the Guide and bingo, we see it, good or bad (lots and lots of bad IMO). I have no way to know if this is really the process, but this is the way it was explained and it makes sense to me.
    Now, lets talk about one of the other guide providers for the Tivo or whatever. It seems to me that a very similar process would have to take place: channel to guide data collector to actual guide data provider (maybe the last two are one and the same?).
    Now, where would Verizon be in this process for the other guide data providers? Seems to me nowhere, it should be the responsibility of the channel to notify the data provider that the channel is now on FiOS, what the channel name and number is, etc.
    I am sure you will disagree with me, but where am I wrong? It seems to me you should be complaining to the channel providers, not Verizon.

    Automatic discovery of the Lync server failed. Please verify the server requirements at
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=278998 . Lync mobile apps do not require automatic discovery. You could enter the server FQDN manually and test connectivity again.
    Microsoft Lync Connectivity Analyzer cannot analyze deployment readiness until a discovery test has completed successfully.
