Can i connect to my friend's DataBase over internet ?

Hi,
both of us are connected to internet.I want to connect to my friend's database through sqlplus utility. I have installed Oracle devsuite 10g.
I have obtained my friends tns and copy it in Network/admin folder's tnsnames.ora files. But when i connect error occurs .The error is TNS could not resolve the connect identifier.
Is remote connection possible over internet ?

There isn't any way to import the data into the form in FormsCentral from a database. To populate and external database from the table on the View Responses tab there are no APIs to do it automatically but you can export to Excel or CSV and then import the Excel or CSV into your database: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1383

Just confirming, when you have the trouble, the wifi icon is grayed-out or has all bars showing? I believe you are saying that is is grayed-out - not connected to your wireless router.
I have a Mini that started to lose connection to the Internet after the 10.7.3 update but still showed the wireless as connected. If I pinged the wireless router, I would get a quarter of the packets failing to return. The router was a Netgear that supported 802.11N connections. As a test, I set it to 802.11G (54MBps) maximum and the Mini worked fine for a week - no dropouts. And for the other devices that did support 802.11N, while there was a noticeable delay with downloads and pages loading, they still worked.
As another test, I changed the Netgear router to a Billion 802.11N model and the Mini has not had a problems since. (It is still using 802.11g). So it could be your router that is causing trouble for your Mac.

After weeks of testing, i found the solution of my question. It´s quiet simply!!
1º iPhone (3G Internet acess) connected to Mac mini by USB or BlueTooth or WiFi.
2ª in Mac mini must be activated in "Preferencias", "Compartir", the option "Compartir Internet",
     "Compartir Conexión desde":   iPhone USB or Bluetooth PAN
     "Con otros Ordenadores vía": Ethernet
3º Ethernet cable must be connected from Mac mini to Time Capsule !!
4º In Time Capsule "Internet": connect by: DHCP
                             "Network": bridged
Nothing more!!! Sooooo simply!!
After this, Windows XP SP3 connect without problem over TC´s WiFi or Ethernet to the Internet!
Also other Devices like IPad, or other iPhone, etc.
Of course it can be a created a WiFi connection (PPP) between the iPhone and the Mac
and it´s working to.
But ALWAYS, by changing the connection mode, must be changed the Thethering mode.
In- and Out-Going!

Try to reset all setting on your phone and see. If issues still persist try to back up your phone using iTunes and restore it using computer.

Can't connect to SQL server GKB database

I've installed Visual Composer on my laptop with Portals, SQL server and IIS. When installing Visual Composer, it asked for a domain name. What do I put in there?
When I try to run VC, I get a message saying cannot connect to GKB database. What is the GKB database and any ideas why I can't connect to it?

and in the log file I am getting this error

Can't connect to a friend

For the past two days I have tried to connect to a friend I've Skyped with dozens of times. I get a "busy" message when I try video-calling him, he gets the same thing when he tries calling me.
We are both signed in.
I tried from Windows and directly through Skype, from my Droid phone, from my work and home computers. This is going on for two days now!

Thanks - this is all interesting. I knew about WEP not being secure but this is not my house and not my network. I can't mess with the router because my friends have it set up and are using it.
I should perhaps point out: this is Italy.

The router is the one provided by the telephone company. So is the WEP password.
The WEP password works for them via Airport but not for me.
I'm just wondering why that might be?

yes you can connect using provider hosted app you need to register app using appregnew and then use azure publishing settings to publish appweb to azure website..
this is not possible in sharepoint hosted accoridng to me.

WRT45G: can only connect one pc at the time to internet, cannot login to router setup

I don't get this. The complete network worked fine for ... years? After a call with the ISP about a general/different issue, we can now only connect one pc at the time to internet. (We were asked to take out cables and we've put them back).
I've been trying and searching for an answer for hours.
problem:
We can only connect through the router to internet with only one pc at the time (the first pc we connect after starting up the router).
Also we cannot get into the setup menu of the router at 192.168.1.1
We've been trying to reset the modem for 10, 30 seconds.
Auto resolve IP/DNS. DHCP is enabled.
I also remembered that I pushed the SES button, it turned from orange to flashing bluish. I never knew aboutthis function, nor it is mentioned in the manual I downloaded. Now this SES indicator is off.
Also WLAN and DMZ led are off.
I downloaded EasyLink_Connect.exe, went through the setup. It recognises there's internet connection, but stops and says: cisco does not support this modem.
Temp. replacing this WRT45G modem with another one did not resolve the issue.
I have no clue what went wrong, what we did wrong, and how we can resolve this issue? Please help! Thanks

2. I do have another router, when I try that one, the problem we have remains. So that's a bit strange to me. That one is supposed to be working.
Does this SES function configure anything other than the modem? So, does it alter PC configurations? I have no clue. We even start to wonder whether the ISP is able to set up their internet in a way that unables us to make use of a router? That would be ridiculous

Hello,
I've always used Internet Sharing to create a wifi hotspot from my iMac, so that I can get an internet connection on my iPad. After updating to Mountain Lion this does not seem to work. Anyone know how?
The hotspot generated by my iMac's internet sharing has never worked with my Kindle, but I would at least expect it to work with Apple's own products. Hoepfully someone knows a solution?

Seems that the issue is something to do with connecting via WPA2. When I set Internet Sharing to use WEP (by option-clicking the security menu), I'm then able to see the network shares and the printer.

Can't connect windows xp using airport extreme to internet

Hi i just purchased my airport extreme base station. I tried connecting it to my windows xp for internet and so i can have wireless connection to my macbook.
Im using timewarner cable as my ISP connected through ethernet. I choose DHCP in the configuration to detect IP address provided but I couldn't connect and it tells me invalid IP address.. (i followed the instruction from the manual)... I tried to do it manually then I typed my IP address,but it asks for
1. Subnet Mask- not sure so I just went by whats default which is 255.255.0.0
2. router address- I dont know where to get this.. tried 10.0.1.1, 10.0.1.2, 192.168... no clue where to get this...
The light was on amber when I used DHCP (automatic)- which gives me error of wrong IP address
After I did it manually with my IP address its now green still no internet connection (problem is probably subnet mask and router address)

The cable modem should be powered off and connected to the WAN port on the AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS). The PC should be connected to one of the AEBS's LAN ports.
Configure the AEBS to use the same settings as the PC was using to connect to the Internet. The PC should now be configured to use DHCP and Ethernet to get on the Internet.

Firefox keeps saying can't connect to server for every site but internet explorer can

I was using firefox before and it worked fine. But then yesterday firefox updated itself and since then it wouldn't work. its not the firwall, not a proxey problem, I had uninstalled it and reinstalled it but that didn't work either. Internet explorer still works and so does the wireless for the laptop but just for my desktop firefox doesn't work. Now everytime I open firefox or try any other site it says "can't connect to the server at ..." what do I do.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.
