Can I convert a 4x3 Keynote presentation into 16x9

I've got a finished 4x3 Keynote presentation and a venue wants 16x9. The theme it is built in -- Formal -- doesn't support 1280 x 720 (or 16x9). Without rebuilding the whole presentation in another theme that supports 16X9, is there an easier way to convert it, keeping text and still images, but maybe making some adjustments on spacing?
I've tried several of 1280 x 720 themes and they are not only distorted, but omit many of the images in the presentation.
Any help appreciated.

Formal theme doesnt support 16:9 when you are at Theme Chooser. Though, there is something you may try.
Open your presentation
Inspector
Document (The first tab)
Select slide size 1280x720
The formal theme will be transformed to 16:9. You may need to do some adjustments as you said, but it should work.

You CAN add a Keynote presentation into iWeb (exported as a QuickTime movie), you just have to be aware of some minor issues. One of the issues you'll run into you can see on this page.

Depending on the speed of your connection, if it starts playing early, it will do the first slide over and over until the full thing has been downloaded. Give it a try and post back here or in the Keynote discussions if you have any problems.

There's two answers if you want to modify the file:
You can temporarily turn off PDF/A Mode in your preferences, so they don't open as read-only. The problem would be if you do something to the file that violated the PDF/A standard, so you should always run a Preflight check afterwards to make sure.
If you want to remove the PDF/A header tag, use Preflight again - it's on the Print Production Panel in Acrobat X Pro (which may be hidden, use the options menu on the Tools Pane to show it). There's a profile called "Remove PDF/A information" - choose this and press Analyze and Fix. Nothing else about the file will be altered but when you save and reopen it all the editing tools will become active.

On your nav bar there is a shorcut to other pages.
The most effecient way I have found to do this from the phone layout,
click on the page icon shown above
type in the name of the page (and select the desktop version as indicated by the icon of the monitor)
select all on that page (CTRL A / Command A) and copy (CTRL C / Command C)
revert back to the phone layout page and paste (CTRL V / Command V)
then resize, delete what you dont need, make any other edits and your done!
There is not a way to copy a page entirely over. The mobile version should have less information and less imagery to enable fast load times.

You do it sort of like the way you arrange your apps on the iPad and how you drag apps into groups. You do the same technic with your Keynote slides.

I have multiple talks that I've made using my MacBook 2006 running snow leopards and keynote '08. I would like to have my presentations on my iPad 2 for several reasons - it's easier to carry around my iPad 2 and the talks are more accessible on the iPad; they open more quickly.
I've connected my iPad to my MacBook and added the talks under apps successfully, but when I go to the iPad Keynote app to copy the presentation from iTunes, it starts to download, but then I get a message stating that only presentations saved in iWork '09 can be imported. Now here's the rub. I decide to update keynote '08 on my MacBook to '09 by going to the App Store, but when I try to purchase the new app, I get a message stating that keynote '09 is only compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 aka lion. I go to download lion, which I learn has been updated to mountain lion (I know I'm a little behind, but I really use my iPad 2 more now), so I go to download mountain lion, but I get a message that it's not compatible with my MacBook. It's compatible with MacBooks made post 2007. So, I've actually been contemplating buying a new MacBook, but as mentioned, I really want to use my iPad more. The main reason to buy a new MacBook would be to be able to use keynote '09 so I can save my keynote '08 talks in keynote '09 so I can get it onto my iPad 2, which would then negate the need for a MacBook. WHAT SHOULD I DO!

Buying a MacBook purely to convert some files does not appear to be an economic investment.
There are many friends and colleagues would convert the Keynote files for me, my local Apple dealer would also do this fro free.
Ask around and see if the files can be converted, then import to iPad and save on the MacBook purchase.

There are no ObjectOutputStream and ObjectInputStream classes in CLDC. You must know what you are writing to and reading from the DataStream. You should write the primitives like int, String to the DataOutputstream at one end and read those in exactly the same sequence at the outher end using readInt(), readUTF() methods.

I have a very basic keynote presentation that I've created on my iPad 2. No fancy transitions, etc. Essentially slides with pictures and information. I need to have it run like a slide show and repeat itself over and over for a static display. Can someone help me accomplish this?

Hi i did as you suggested, only with these exceptions:
jar -cvf hello.jar C:\JavaBuilder\hello.class
I did this and got the message: "adding : C:\JavaBuilder\hello.class (in=1150) (out=708) (deflated=38%)"
The problem is that when I tried to execute the jar file...by typing: " java -jar hello.jar" I received the error message: "Failed to load Main-Class Manifest attribute from hello.jar" Is there any way to correct this problem? please help, thank you.

first of all, you should use an upper-case character for the first letter of your classes...
To answer your question :
1) you must create a directory named "meta-inf" in your directory "C:\JavaBuilder"
2) then,you must create a file named "manifest.mf" in this directory
it's like a property file and it must contain this :
Main-Class: hello
(don't forget to type <enter> after "hello")
3) in the directory "C:\JavaBuilder", you can enter the following command :
"jar cvfM hello.jar meta-inf\manifest.mf hello.class"
(check jar.exe is in your path)
4) you can run your jar by the command :
"java -jar hello.jar"

Help - Can I Convert/import a PDF back into an InDesign doc?

Long story short: This is a document I originally created and the original was lost. The client now wants to make changes and re print. I would like avoid having to build the entire doc from scratch. I have the original Hi-res PDF that I retrieved from the printer.
Question:
1) Is there any way to convert/import this doc back into an editable Indesign Document?

Just got my second & third AAS degrees from local community college (Print & Graphic Design(updated to digital) at 53. And I was appalled at how many of our HS grads are not only receiving their diplomas but getting into college and cannot read at all! Why can't I e-mail Keynote presentations?

For some reason I am unable to send a Keynote presentation via e-mail. When I attempt to attach file the document icon is grayed out. FIle size is under 10 megs.
